I initially called for an emergency towing from my insurance company and Gates Towing was selected as the service to retrieve my car, and Pedro Ortiz was dispatched to my location. Upon dispatch Pedro was sure to reach out and confirm my location and even asked what the issues I was having was out of courtesy. His ETA changed a bit from what I was expecting, but he was quick to update me with a new time of arrival so I had an opportunity to pivot my plans. I arranged to ride with the tow truck to the service center where my car was being dropped, and I was met with a clean and neat cab to ride in - which I could tell Pedro was very proud of! If you need to travel along with your vehicle in the truck, take note - some drivers do not maintain a clean vehicle for transporting customers, and some keep their cab clean enough to eat off of the floor! Pedro is of the latter group! Overall, I have to say the experience with Pedro Ortiz was fantastic from start to finish! He was exceptional in every aspect of customer service from his punctuality to the physical care he took with securing my vehicle to his truck, and the delivery of it once at location. If this is the standard for the quality of worker Gates Towing employs, I would be happy to work with them whenever I'm in need of this service!

I wanted to take a minute to thank Syracuse Towing and Recovery. I am a fellow business owner who does towing and recovery as well out of the Albany NY area. This is a bit of a run on review but i want to give all the credit these guys deserve to them and NONE to the others i called. - While one of my drivers was on a out of town tow in Syracuse nearly 3 hours away our truck ended up having an issue that couldn't be fixed by any mobile mechanics i could find, and let me add this all happened with a new driver who was still learning and all in all let me say the he ended up in wasn't exactly the best case scenario for even an experienced operator BUT the truck needed to get back to Albany so I could repair it. We needed to get it temporarily secured AND SAFE so it was drivable and i knew I needed to find a Local experienced operator who really knew what they were doing SO basically an EXPERT to be able to do all of this for my driver. I called handfuls of local Syracuse towing services and after explaining was losing hope that someone could take care of this and FAST. Once I Called Syracuse Towing And Recovery I was completely confident they were the ones for this job. They got to us fast and took care of everything i needed them to no question or hassles, Just got the job at hand done for me and gave me a no brainer incredible price honestly way less than i was willing to pay, on top of it all. Friday 01/17/2020 I had finished a job at 333 west 86th st the penultimate job of the day and everything was fine until I arrived in my truck and with the temperature very low it was very cold and my truck did not want to turn on the battery was dead and I tried to get an outozone in NYC to buy new battery to be able to continue with my work and of course in NYC you can't get an outozone try to look for many options as two car service people gave me a boost but nothing did not work after Two and a half hours I gave up calling my queens mechanic to send me a towing truck and he charged me about $ 450 to $ 550 for taking me to queens and of course plus the two new batteries and the installation and then it occurred to me to find some towing truck in the city for a more reasonable price to throw me with my mechanic in queens and I found ALL MAGIC TOWING TRUCK and called for a quote and MOSES answered very professionally he gave me options he wonder if I was 100% sure that my problem was the battery and I confirmed that it is the battery was my problem and he gave me a very reasonable price He arrived very quickly to the rescue I was surprised because in the city it is very difficult to get someone to arrive on time after I was already two and a half hours trying to solve the situation in which I found myself and with the temperature that day I was already freezing Then he arrived he started my truck in 10 minutes and ready for my return to stay safe and sound THANKS TO MOSES I recommend it 100% professional

I called them to tow a car blocking my driveway and they were here within the hour. They were very helpful when I called and the driver who arrived was professional and towed the car within a few minutes. I hope no one blocks my driveway again but if they did, I would call Late Bloomers Tow Company again.

When I called them for a tow, I anticipated on waiting for a minimum of an hour. That assumption came from my past experiences when calling for a tow. To my surprise a tow truck was there in less than half an hour I was elated. Their promptness save the rest of my day. That you!!!

I would rate my experience dealing with the office personnel five stars as I called to make a complaint against a driver that almost ran me off the road and smashed into my back end and continued to ride my tail for a few blocks... I decided to call thinking that it would probably get me nowhere but the pleasant woman that answered the phone assured me that the gentleman driving would be reprimanded. It's nice to know that just bc someone drives for your company it doesn't mean they're in the right all the time. I don't recall her name but she was very pleasant and apologetic about the rude driver

Mastermind towing is a great towing company was stuck on the I 80 for about two hours waiting for another tow company to arrive only to realize they were never coming. Than called mastermind towing explain to them that we’ve been waiting two hours for another tow company that never showed up and had kids with us. mastermind towing got to us within 30 minutes to save me and my kids from the freezing cold so for that we forever grateful and thankful for mastermind towing. highly recommended

I had to have my vehicle towed from the tow yard due to the registration being expired, and after searching online, I’m so grateful I found this place. Nick from Action Auto (truck 21 I believe) was extremely helpful in getting my car back up and starting as well as replacing my battery. I placed a call to AAA on 7/25 and Nick arrived in about 15 minutes after the call and was able to jump my car and replace my battery. All of this was done before the time AAA gave me for his arrival. Total pro and I will recommend them (and Nick) for any future automotive needs I may have. Very happy with the service as well as professionalism to get my car back up and running :). - Chris
I unfortunately did not have the same experience with towing & service. I called AAA on Aug 19th for my car that wouldn't start. I had asked they they tow it to the shop I normally go to but the tow guy from Action called & told me it was just a battery and did I want to tow it to their shop for the AAA battery so I get that discount...sure. By Friday August 22nd, my car still wasn't ready to be picked up. Finally that evening, they said my car was all set to go but charged me $422!!! Apparently they did some diagnostic testing that did not need to be done. After questioning that, I was told that they would refund me (about half) due to the diagnostics being done when not needed. Great, faith restored a little bit. That VERY SAME EVENING, my car breaks down again. AAA then doesn't cover the tow because it was considered a "re-tow" for the same issue. This time I ensure that it is towed to my shop where they replaced my alternator for me IN A SINGLE DAY. Issues: don't keep my car for three whole days for "just a battery" and then send me on my way without checking the alternator and ensuring my vehicle was actually fixed...which didn't you try to charge me for the diagnostics which would have showed an issue with the alternator?? Secondly, it is now 9/2 and I still don't have the refund that was promised to me on 8/22. I work in finance and know that 3-5 business days is standard for a return to process. I called last week and was told that the return had been processed but clearly it hasn't been. Back around 2013 I had an issue here with a tire that they had "fixed" but was flat again the day I picked it up because they never checked the valve stem. I hadn't returned to this shop since then until this most recent experience. Truly wish that AAA partnered with more shops in the Henrietta area than just this place. I don't trust them at all.
Called AAA for a flat tire. Jacob from Action Towing and Service arrived quickly to my rescue. He made sure my spare was safe and had enough air in it and then quickly and expertly took off the flat and replaced it with the spare. He even inspected the tire to try and assess what caused the flat. Best service I have ever received from a AAA responder. I highly recommend this company and I hope any time in the future that I require assistance that someone from Action Towing is who comes to assist.

The young man went above and beyond to get me back on the road. I discovered my flat tire when I went to move my car on a lunch break. I was dreading the backlog that would have awaited me if your driver didn’t think outside the box and got to my location much sooner than the ETA. Brian may not be very creative when it comes to naming his own company but I have to tell you: the man is honest! It truly is amazing! Lol He was super responsive in a late weeknight, fast to arrive, great to communicate with throughout the whole time. He's great: knowledgeable, fun, polite, detail-oriented, you name it. And his estimate was very reasonable and competitive. I hope we won't need his service anymore but I wouldn't think twice to give him a call again if need be.
Amzing towing is the best name for this company, they're amazing indeed. Got a flat tire at the Holland tunnel, ended up in NJ and need a tow to Brooklyn, called as many towing company's as possible, no one was willing to do it, the few that did asked ridiculous prices as it was almost midnight. Not only did Bryan accept the job but also came in with the most reasonable price not expensive at all as it was 2 am showed up exactly on the ETA was very nice and professional the whole time, definitely recommend, in other words "amazon towing".

Service and prices are great but hours of operation takes a bit of guess work (they say 24/7 but that doesn't mean you can just call in a schedule an appointment whenever). Staff could be a little bit more friendly.
Words can not express how grateful I am for having these guys tow me after having a breakdown on the highway! The gentleman who picked me up was such a kind and personable person. I was very comfortable in riding to the shop with him (which can be hit or miss when you're a lady - let's be honest lol) and he was very prompt in showing up and hitching my truck. It only took 15 mins for him to show up after making the call! The level of professionalism he displayed was insurmountable and definitely appreciated. Awesome company and super cool tow trucks!
This company sucks. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt; however, the communication skills are terrible. If we give our information to your dispatch and you arrive at a destination, you should be able to assure your customer about your whereabouts. The dispatcher was very rude. Driver came late twice and never communicated . Horrible experience.
Just watched one of the tow guys pull into the driveway of my apartment building (private residence) in Honeoye NY (8/16/22 at 1:10 pm) to turn around while I had my dog tied up in it while taking care of my garden. No consideration for those of us living here.
Assuming from the previous reviews this company has went down hill as of RECENT. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Trust the other reviews and save yourself the time and the headache. Driver said he would show up at 5, showed up at 5:30 which conflicted with my schedule. Driver then says he’ll be back later at 6:30 when I called he said he didn’t want to do it anymore but would do it in the morning. I call in the morning and I’m told to meet at 9:50. I show up at 9:37 and still at 9:50 no trace of the tow truck. I call again at 10:15 giving him some leeway. The receptionist says he’s been there since before 10 which is literally impossible. I even called the owner to the building it’s parked in and even he confirmed there was no tow truck. Save yourself the time and headache with this company. You may pay more somewhere else but it seems like you’ll be paying more anyway because they just play games and waste time. Also to note, the receptionist is terrible. I called to speak to the manager because at this point the situation is out of hand but she claims that she’s the manager which I highly doubt because she doesn’t have many thoughts in her head but hey, maybe she is. Regardless she’s terrible, hanging up on customers when your driver isn’t there is crazy and just bad business. Reprimand him, not people who actually need things towed and are pressed for time. And before you reply to this with no accountability. YOURE the issue. The driver is clearly lying.

I recently called bx towing express to tow my car. I had parked on the street to visit a friend. I made my way back to the car just over a hr later. And the car wouldn't start. I explored other options than thinking it was the battery. I stopped a car for a jump as last resort. Still nothing. Finally called the tow. Driver Eric came to me promptly. He looked at my car before towing me. He came to the conclusion it was my battery and gave me a jump. Presto engine started!! I so pleased. He save me money and time dealing with a repair shop. Of course I tipped him well. And was on my way! I highly recommend them to anyone who has car problems. Thanks E!!

Johnny is polite and patient with all my questions. Fast service was told the truck will be in an 1 hour but got to me in 15 min. Best price out of three tow companies.
Had an issue with my truck, to where I had pull over. Called a few places, they were fast to respond. Happy with the experience. Reasonable prices
Awesome service. I was stuck on the side of the road, they showed up in just a short time and got my car safely to the auto shop. Hopefully I never need to call them again, but in the event I do…. I def will !!
We are farmers at Greenmarket and our truck broke down in Brooklyn. Hook and Go was a pleasure to work with. They towed us to a mechanic that replaced the starter and got our truck back on the road within hours. Highly recommend.
Kind helpful service, very quick to get us a tow and called tire company for us to ensure they would stay open to fix our flat. No attitude / answered all my questions when I called back multiple times. Thanks again! Will call this place again if we ever need service to tow.
