Had a great experience with Grand Valley Towing & Transport after a company vehicle had a deer strike on the highway. The driver, Jeffery Borders, was really professional and friendly. He made sure I was alright, talked while we waited, and was very timely as well. Even though I didn't choose the company to grab the damaged vehicle, I would definitely call them personally for any towing or recovery needs.

I needed a tow to a tire shop. I was told by the dispatcher that the wait time would be about 15 minutes. The driver called back. He said that if I had a spare tire he could put it on for me so that I can get the tire replaced at my convenience. He was at my location within 10 minutes!! He put on my spare. He was courteous. He did the job well! I’m so happy with the services that were provided. This is my go to tow company. I’ve been using them since 2011!

I got stuck in the middle of a Verizon wireless outage (no cell service until 5am) on the side of the highway after midnight, and managed to get a call to emergency services who contacted Merl's for towing. John was genuinely so kind and empathetic as he towed my car and gave me a lift back home, keeping conversation light to keep my mind off of the stress. Will ALWAYS recommend their services.

We had an unexpected breakdown of a family members car. I am not accustomed to using towing services so we went with Grand Valley Towing because they were recommended by Georgetown Auto Center who is doing the repairs. I called and got friendly and prompt pickup at a time that was convenient. Jeff was the driver who picked up the car. I was very happy with the friendly service at a reasonable price and would highly recommend Grand Valley Towing.
Ridiculously expensive and on top of that there was more that I had to pay for that they never told me I don’t recommend

Once I put in call because my battery was dead, from accidentally leaving head lights on auto. Very pleasant man arrived within 30 minutes to use battery operated jumpers. Once attached it did not jump my battery he tried for at least 5 minutes. Went to his work truck pulled out another battery operated jumpers. Started my car up within a minute. It helped me out immensely. I was not from the local area, so had no that I knew personally to contact. Want to say thank you.

Got me together quick and easy. No hassle and cheap
If I could give this company and Doug 100 stars I would! Got stranded in Detroit trying to celebrate my birthday and Doug saved the day. Doug gave me a tow and he was fast and efficient also gave me a wonderful recommendation on a near by shop and gave me a ride the next day back to my truck! I would absolutely use this company again!

I've received excellent service from Wright's. Douglas is quick and efficient. He came right away, hooked up my vehicle and just like that I was out of a jam. His price was very reasonable, much less than another tower I had just used, and he's a nice guy. He gave me a ride home and I left my phone in his truck. And he came right back and wouldn't even accept a tip. Highly recommended.

Grand Valley Towing goes above and beyond! Long story "some-what short". Brent was our service provider today. He hauled my F150 plus my equiment trailer. From the moment I placed the call, I didn't even wait one hour. And Brent showed up ready go. Knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, honest . . .Now the hardest part wasn't loading my truck and trailer. Oh no, no, no... it was the trip we all where about to indore. But Brent only 20 years old. Drove better than most the CDL drivers I know. Brent had to go through tight areas along 96. Through construction sites, some areas had minimum visibility. Construction was kicking up dust, in and out of traffic. All while Brent drove like hes done this fir 50 plus years. Some areas along 131 he made look like its a pice of cake. The biggest part was he got my daughter, wife and I back home safe. He wasn't disrespectful, he didn't play loud or any music so he could be intuned with his surroundings. The kid did so well I really hope this company gives him the respect he deserves. Becase as a business owner, you cant find people that enjoy their jobs let alone work this hard and give respect, like Brent gave us today. With all my appreciation kiddo thank you very much. Sadly I hit a deer with my not quite three week old car. I called the police and Grand Valley towing right away. Grand Valley got there first. The driver was courteous, sympathetic, and waited for the State Boy police to show up. Since I was stuck on M-21 between Lowell and Ada he gave me a ride to a spot in GR so I could get a quicker ride to home. This is a great towing service and I will always use them (but hopefully no need to)
Highly recommend Grand Valley Towing. My Jeep popped a ball joint loose rendering it undriveable but Jeff and Nathan got it away from the rail crossing and carefully lifted all four wheels off the ground for transport. Very happy with their level of service - they handled my “baby” with great care even though it’s an older vehicle at this point.

Erik was especially awesome - I received timely updates and check ins throughout my experience since I wasn’t with my car at the time of towing, and I could tell Erik really cared! Battery died after having our hazards on while helping someone with a flat tire. Regardless, they were able to come out and get us jump started. Reasonable cost. Reasonable time for arrival.
My Tow truck driver Rich was quick to arrive once he was dispatched. He was knowledgeable about my car and how to get it in neutral even though it’s an EV which allowed him to get me loaded and on my way quickly. Hard worker with a good attitude.

I hit a deer on I-69 near Flint. My sons called Christian's Towing & Recovery. Antonio and Christian helped calm me down by telling me my options and reassuring me they could tow my car and get me home. Their expertise and knowledge was a bright spot during a very traumatic experience. Antonio took my car to a holding yard so my insurance company could inspect it and deem it totaled. I can't thank them enough for coming to my rescue in my time of need. Antonio is very polite and friendly and an excellent driver, too! I highly recommend this company!
It was such an excellent experience working with Christian's Towing. Even though it was late evening, he came to my place to pick up my disabled vehicle. As one of rear suspension lower links had been broken and the mobility was lost, he was clever enough by putting an assistive thing under the tire to pull up the vehicle and successfully loaded on the bed of his tow truck. I've never seen it before. He sent me a couple of photos and a video footage to show me that my vehicle was dropped off at a dealership. I really appreciate his assistance and services. I don't have any doubt to recommend his service at all. Go for it!!
Would give Christian and his crew a 110%, 10 out of 5 stars and an above excellent rating! They came to my rescue at the storage facility to help my mom and I install a 5th wheel hitch but without hesitation continued to help us attach the battery, hitch the 5th wheel, lift the supports, pull it out of its tight space and headed in the right direction ready for me to jump in and head back to Kentucky! These 3 were so polite, respectful, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to help us! We are forever grateful when everyone else in the area said "No"... Christian's towing said Yes I will be there! I did not have to wait long. He was there probably working 10 minutes. He was very good. He checked. My battery was just dead and he charged it and did a test and everything checked out good he just told me to drive it. I don’t drive in enough, but I give him a 10.

Our driver called promptly but the calls went straight to voice mail (fault of my cell carrier). Made an appointment to get my towed but I called to get an earlier time and he accommodated the new time and he arrived not even 30 min after he said he was on his way. I went through 4-5 different companies just for a tow and they were either charging too much just to go 5 miles, not answering when I call but online they say they’re “open” and I couldn’t even leave a voicemail, or they didn’t have anyone in my area (but the company was in my area, I was confused too) and would take hours. Did a great job towing and handled the variables quickly and proficiently. He was polite and helpful. The price was reasonable for having to take it across town, too. They showed up fairly quicly at the exact minute they estimated, 35 minutes. It was Saturday late afternoon. The address they took from us was recorded wrong for some reason, but the tech who was sent out called ahead when he saw it didn't seem right and got the correct address so there was no delay. Overall, we are satisfied with their service.

Seldom do I comment, but Stewart deserves it. I have an Audi R8 with about 3” of ground clearance - it’s a challenging car to tow. Stewart brought boards to prevent damaging the bumpers, dealt with a rude Audi dealership at pickup, and knew exactly what to do to ensure a damage-free tow for my favorite supercar. Thanks Stewart! Needed to get home at night when my car became undriveable. They showed up fast, got me rigged up, and drove me and my car to the other side of town at a price that no one else could beat.
Dwayne and his wife arrived within SEVEN MINUTES of my call! They expertly put my car on their trailer & towed it to the repair shop, for a fair price, I have other cars towed so I know the going rate.
Very pleased by Dwayne service, was locked out of my car. After calling several companies waiting for hrs. I called eazy way towing, he was there in less than 10 mins. I definitely would use their services again!!

I had the pleasure of working with Devin a couple days ago due to my rental needing to be towed and he was wonderful at communicating between phone calls and texts. This lead to an easy transition of the whole process. We even had some confusion (not between me and the driver but between policy and miscommunication between other parties involved) and we managed to by pass the confusion and figured it out ourselves. My insurance had set this up. (Auto Owners ). It was ordered at 1230 pm. I kept getting automated text messages from Auto Owners asking how things were going. I kept answering option C not complete yet. Those texts continued until 745 pm. I finally called Auto Owners and after checking into it they decided to cancel the tow from Pro Am and got another company to pick it up. In the meantime Pro Am towing showed up. I had to get hold of Auto Owners and they were able to reschedule the original tow. Cancel the new one before 2 tow service were on seen. Moral of story if your running late due to unforeseen problems please call and let your customers know what the hell is going.

I had to travel to Grand Rapids for an appointment with an eye specialist. Afterwards, my truck wouldn't start. I was lucky enough to be directed to East Beltline Towing. Gave them a call cause I need a toolbox to move. Phone rang, but then said call was sent to voicemail. So I hung up and called later and called didn't even ring multiple times and said call was sent to voicemail. If this is not how you run a business by ignoring customers. Will not use them or recommend them.

Our vehicle was struck and suststained repairable rear passenger wheel damage and just needed to be brought home while we resolved an auto insurance discrepency. Instruction were given that it needed to be brought onto the driveway facing the garage which they politely acknowledged was not a problem and would be able to do. I had made sure the entire driveway including the driveway approach entrance apron as well as even the street was totally clear and salted before he arrived.. But.. the driver arrived with an attitude and had brought it facing the wrong direction .. He was visibly annoyed and angry with some sort of internal personal grievence .. But I remained calm and polite. I asked that he just place it in the driveway as it was then. I asked him to Just place it in the driveway the way that he brought it... And so, he wanted his payment and then got in his truck, and instead, proceeds to simply unload it. Unloads it onto the middle of the street and just leaves it there. He Tells me to drive it onto the driveway despite the damaged and broken wheel.. He Was Purposely unaccommodating and went out of his way to make it so that the vehicle was forced to be driven and sustain further damage wth? 😳🤯🧐😡

Fantastic fast service. I really wish my insurance would have contacted these people to begin with. My car wouldn't start not sure if it's the battery, alternator Etc, I called at 6:30 a.m. for roadside service. The first provider that got dispatched never showed up to my house I called and my insurance canceled them got me to another towing company which was Elite Towing Service, they were absolute garbage they told me a 2-hour wait long story short I have waited 8 hours for towing service! finally at 315p my insurance called this place and with things 40 min Robbies tow service came! they were on time and really the only company that actually showed up for me

Captain Lance was amazing! He was there in 15 minutes & professionally pulled us in. He was so nice and got us safely back to our marina.
We’ve always said we would never boat without a Towboat membership and we are so grateful we had it today. We lost the steering and could only go reverse while in the busiest part of the Clinton River. Fearful of hitting other boats or docks we finally put our anchor down and called TowBoatUS to get us home. What a great experience from start to finish with them. The dispatch operator, Kayla, was so calming, understanding, patient and thorough. She definitely calmed our nerves in a very scary situation. Nick, who was dispatched to us was amazing as well. He was very experienced, helpful, friendly and an all around great guy. We are so impressed with the whole experience and highly recommend them!

We went to the Henry Ford Museum of Innovation and our car failed to start back up when we went to leave as it was too cold (4⁰ F) Unlike AAA which didn't assign us an agent until 19 hours after we called them, Blk Knights Towing and Recovery came roughly an hour after we called, managed to jump start our car (which we believe has a failing starter). It cost us $50 for this service, which is a small price to pay in our opinion. Thank you very much!

Definitely the company I would recommend if you are anywhere near Detroit and need help. The dispatcher is amazing and she has excellent customer service when you call. Horrible customer service we have been waiting for a tow truck from them since 834 am was the first time told to us then it went 945 to 1130 Ms. Tara office manager says it was always scheduled for 1 pm when she arrived for her shift she called at 253 pm with a nasty attitude stating it will be another 1.5 hours before a tow and advised me to call AAA and request another company which I did because she hung up on me when asked to speak with someone with better customer service skills. So I reached out to Aaa after stating a tow was in route. of course Miss office manager says that was a mistake our car was still not in que in she confirmed she had just spoken to me. Thankful AAA records their call.So a day wasted on a service that this company was never able to full fill in the first place. So next up will be with AAA how do they find these companies to fulfill these request they have to do better. Being a member since 1987 no one should have to deal with this. Car appointment missed regular appointments missed and who’s to say when the mechanic will be able to get to it. Total inconvenience.

Just want to say what a great experience I had with Ellis Brothers Towing. A special shout out and recommendation to "Brad" our driver. If you are looking for a SUPER NICE AND WELL MANNERED DRIVER TOW GUY THAT KNOWS WHAT PRIFESSIONALISM IS ALL ABOUT, THEN BRAD IS YOUR DUDE. From the first phone call from Ohio late at night, a nice lady answered the phone and was on it. I called from Ohio to buy a dragster race car, lol. On a whim, lol. I called in to confirm early the next morning and everything was a perfect, "GO". Once I reached my loading spot BRAD was there in 12 minutes- nice. BRAD was all about ensuring that the dragster loaded perfectly. Brad drove the rollback slow and steady as to keep the flexing of the car to zero. (We did have inflatables under for support) Unloading was done with precision and care. Once we got it unloaded and off the trailer Brad got a special call from his little daughter. Brad took the call like a father should. It was nice to see a loving and caring daddy talking to his child with compassion and assuring here he will be home soon. I like that. OUR CHILDREN COME FIRST! END OF STORY. Just another snapshot of how Brad's head and his heart are in the right place. Completely unprofessional experience. Ellis Brothers Towing claimed “someone called” for a tow, yet when I arrived, their driver Pete had just pulled up. I called Sue, who first said her boss got a call—then changed it to a text. The story kept shifting. To make it worse, I was quoted $295, then suddenly it became $275, cash only. The lack of transparency and shady communication says everything. I wouldn’t trust them with a bicycle, let alone a car.
I had to have my vehicle towed. Isaac, the driver was prompt and on time and very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use this service again!

Not a reliable company, Really don’t even deserve the one star. Called in the morning Spoke to A lady named Britney I told her I need service for today to move a pod out the way and move a container in its place.. she gave me a quote. I agreed and told me that they’ll be out at 4 so I emptied out the pod To make the job easier And then they call me at 3:30pm saying that they are slammed and no one can come out today That I had to wait till the morning, so I informed Her that I emptied out the pod That had a lot of products in it, and this is at a business That didn’t matter, she told me to Put the product back into the pod So disgraceful
Call Greg and stated I need a tow from Fremont, OH back to Detroit. He gave me a fair and honest quote and did as he said. Came within 2hrs and towed my truck with care to the repair shop of my choosing with no hiccups. I definitely will use them again anytime I need a tow. Good people!

I hit a pot hole and blew out a tire and rim. I called three different companies to have my car towed. Official was by far the coolest and best price. They even went out of their way to pick up my keys to make it easy. Great experience, and highly recommend using Official towing.
What was a very scary situation have a flat tire on a boat trailer on a major freeway at night could have been a nightmare. It turned out to be a very safe and put my family at ease. I contacted Boat US and explained the situation we were in. They said they would contact a Towing Company in the area and get back with me. Emails & Text Messages were exchange. Within 15 minutes were were contacted and Official Towing would be within 45 minutes. When the driver arrived he explained what he was going to do and asked me to pull forward and center my SUV and trailer on the shoulder of the expressway. Car and semi trucks speed by at 70+mph. The driver disconnected the trailer from my SUV and asked me to pull forward. He positioned wrecker and wenched the boat and trailer onto the tilt bed and secured the load. We merged onto the expressway and proceeded to my house. Upon arrival the driver proceeded to back into my driveway and unload the boat & trailer. It was an amazing experience to see how the driver operated. Mike was a true professional. He went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and nothing was damaged she he unloaded. I want to compliment Mike as an outstanding employee and truly a remarkable individual.

Quick and awesome service after an insurance-ordered company didn’t show up. Jacob was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. I should have just called Nick's in the first place…you guys have been the best in town for decades.
Careful using these guys in any commercial towing. Unfortunately they have some side deal contract with the local police department and we were given no choice to use our own tow vendor nearby. When they showed up to tow our equipment that was broken down, they said we had to pay them $500 to move it off the road onto a side street (100 feet away) or they were going to tow it to their own yard and lock it up until the following business day charging us at least $1,000. When we asked them to tow it to our facility instead (25 miles away) and we would pay the full towing fee they said no they are too busy, forcing us to pay them $500 to move it 100ft and then pay another tow vendor another $600 to tow it to our facility. Very shady business. Going to submit a complaint to the police department as well to get their contract revoked asap.
Used Nick's Towing today. Was very happy with there service. Gave me a great price for distance traveled with my car. From phone call to drop off at mechanic less then a hour. Great work guys. They even followed up with a digital receipt sent to my phone, which I really liked. If you need a tow these guys are spot on. Will definitely use again. Just hope not so soon.

The driver WOULDNT tow my car.... he expected me to stand outside in December with a newborn baby until he got there.... he was very rude and nasty and so was the dispatch lady and the OWNER WOULDNT EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE TO HELP WITH THE CONCERNS the worst service I ever had

I got my mini van stuck in a snowbank off the road today after sliding on ice. After waiting hours for our insurance roadside assistance to show up , just to have them cancel, we started calling other tow companies. Berry’s & Gillikin’s could be there the fastest (within 30 minutes) and Justin did a fantastic job. He was able to pull me out safely and efficiently. Thank you!

Beware of scammers, had to have my vehicle towed. Asked the drive to take it to my body shop and was told it was easier for them to take it to their lot for the insurance inspection. Was never told there was a daily storage fee by the driver. So when I call to get my bill total, it was over a hundred more than what I was told. That's when they informed me of the storage fees. When I explained that I had asked to have it taken to my body shop instead, but the driver insisted it was easier to go to the lot and he never told me of storage fee. The owner laughed at me.
Berry’s and Gillikin’s has been a top towing company for me and my family to use. They’ve been quick to arrive on site each time & are communicative throughout the experience. They’re always extremely kind on the phone & the drivers are as well. Prices are extremely reasonable compared to other companies in the area! I’d highly recommend this company to anyone in the Grand Rapids area.
I ordered a tow because my car would not start and I needed to get it to the mechanic. I arrived home from work very shortly before they were scheduled to arrive, and tried to mess with my car one last time to see if I could get it to start. As the tow truck was pulling into my driveway, the car finally started. I informed the driver whose name is Jeremy of this, and said "I already paid you, we'll still just take the tow at this point." Jeremy was having none of it and called the operator and got the tow cancelled and did not charge us a penny. He then offered to follow us to the shop to make sure we'd still get there okay, which he 100% followed through on, even when GPS gave me a really weird route that had me unnecessarily going down small side roads that his tow truck would definitely struggle to get down and doubling back at the end for some reason. Jeremy gave me the best customer service I have ever received in my life, going very far above and beyond what you could ever reasonably expect from a tow service. He ensured that if I ever need a tow again, this company will be the first one I call. Thank you Jeremy.
