my battery died 3.5hrs from home at midnight. i waited over 2 hours for 2 diff roadside services and no one ever showed. i called Big Sam after finding his business on google. not only does he show up within 30 mins, he brought me a used battery to get me to where i was going 7 hours away BUT he also checked in within periodically over the next 7 hrs to make sure i was ok. other than paying him and hugging both him and his son, the only thing he asked for was an honest review on google to help promote his family owned business. the most common reaction i recd from my friends/family after telling them my experience was "i was a good person and i deserved to have a good person help me when i needed it" there is nothing else i can say about this man and his son.. other than thank you ♥️

I came across his cards at a gas station and give him a try. Great customer service. The person was nice, friendly and easy to talk to. Quick to pick up my car. Used them again when I needed to jump start my car one night and they showed up without any delay. Highly recommend!

Affordable and professional
Told me they’d be here within 2 hours, tried to tell my insurance they couldn’t get to my car when they never even drove by the location I had given them. Don’t trust these guys.
A & M Towing's driver damaged my driveway and lawn and refuses to repair or pay for repairing the damages. It's a simple thing to be responsible and fix the damages, but they won't. :( It's good the owner responded and apologized. Missing from his response is anything about fixing the damages his driver caused on my lawn and driveway. The true test of a business or individual is how they respond when things don't go right. What are you going to do, A & M owner?

Dispatch took wrong info after I told him multiple times he head the wrong place, told him he was over charging me for a less than a one mile tow. Paid for the tow gave driver correct info then driver refused to come. Took 2 hours for refund

Since then, I go to them for all my cars needs, oil changes, and any other problems that arise. Casey is usually the first person I try to call for any of my car issues, troubles, and repairs. I do not trust just anyone with my car. I do not trust places that try to over-charge, constantly try to upsell you and tell you this this and this need repairs. CT Auto has definitely earned my respect and loyalty as a long term customer. They always notify me when other things are wrong with my car, always give me a fair priced estimate, and never push the sale onto me or keep haggling me about it.

Called them for a tow while I was broken down on the side of the Wilbur Cross. While they weren't sure if they could help me, telling they couldn't would have been preferable to what they did. Saying they'll call me back after they check with their guy and not following through. I waited 30 minutes for a call back then called them twice in which they sent me to voicemail both times. I understand if a tow company is unable to help, it wasn't the first or last company I called that couldn't help, but I would prefer a straight forward response to being strung along like that especially being while being stuck at the location I was.
Do NOT recommended. Priced a tow for our company and agreed to do it then ghosted us!!!! It takes 30 seconds to answer a phone call/text and simply say “we changed our minds and we’re not going to do it” but instead ignored all calls/text.

These guys are really great. Just when i thought there were no more honest people left in the world. I called these guys for a tow because i hit something and thought something in my front end broke. The tow guy pulled up and after i told him what happened he said he was a mechanic and would take a look. Turns out it was just a blown tire. The tow guy put my spare tire on and sent me on my way, no charge! I felt so bad and stupid for having called them i gave him $50 tip. He couldve easily just towed my car for the $150 i was quoted, but he really saved my day and my wallet. I appreciate you guys!
I came to pick up a towed car. They open at 8 but no employee showed up until after 9, well after I got there. She wasn’t even able to help any customers and had to call another guy to come in, who didn’t show up for over half an hour. I ended up being very late to work simply because they can’t be bothered to respect their own business hours.

I called around for a tow and because it was getting late most guys were closing, closed or wanted to charge me extra because they knew the competition was closing. I called Danny's Towing and Danny picked up and told me he was closing. i explained to him he was my last hope and after explaining my situation he came over himself to pick me up for normal rate. Great guy, i would highly recommend these guys.

My car was taken there and when I got it out, several items were missing from inside. Since several days had passed, no one gave me any answers about my belongings. It's terrible that there's no control over this and that you have to lose your belongings from inside your car.

Stay away this company is know for illegal practices over charging and illegal pull out fees or retows as they call them for so called unregistered vehicles keep in mind vehicle was towed for unregistered but they towed vehicle down the street and dropped it and basically told vehicle owner find it . Lady in office is extremely rude and probably should do her homework on towing laws before attempting to argue with someone who knows more than her self . FYI wrecker plates are only good for un consensual tows not tows of consent. A complaint and video of incident is being sent to DMV
Had my car towed by them through triple A a month ago. They tried pressuring me into getting it towed to their shop. I told them I had another shop that I use and would like it towed there. I handed them the key and the shop called me the next day stating the windows were left down and my car was full of rain water. Very displeased with their tow service and I would not recommend them to anyone.
Went here for a repair and needed a new tire. They told me it’d take 3 wk to get it. Once I got the tire, I had problems and needed to refill with air regularly. When I went to get new tires elsewhere, they showed me that the tire Superior put on was already patched. They gave me a used tire and made me wait for no reason. NEVER going back here again.

“As far as I’m concerned the one job they had as a towing company was to look at a license plate and tow the correct car, and they didn't do that.” --- On 3/23/2015 I was running a both at a 3 day event held at the Stamford Hilton Hotel (where I did NOT have a room). I parked in the garage at 8:00am and when I came out to my car at 7:30pm it was missing. I searched with hotel security staff for 2 hours before contacting the Stamford Police department to file a theft report. It was brought to my knowledge by the hotel that a Black 2009 Jetta had broken down in the garage earlier that week and the woman who owned it called a tow company to come retrieve it. I own a Black 2000 Jetta, which was parked fairly close to this vehicle but thought the chances of a tow company taking the wrong car is unlikely. On the night of the 23rd I could not arrange for pick up till close to midnight, the hotel was fully booked so I could not get a room. In the morning I called tow companies and found that with lack of remorse Stamford Towing had in fact accidentally towed the wrong car. Steve provided me limited solutions, all in which required that I go out of my way to correct their mistake. I requested that he find a way to return it to the Stamford Hilton Hotel where they had taken it from. The inconvenience this caused me was extensive and costly and Stamford Towing showed no remorse. As far as I’m concerned the one job they had as a towing company was to look at a license plate and tow the correct car, and they didn't do that.
Steve readily answered my call inspite of the holidays. Completed the task in less than an hour! Impressive! Great communication with updates as well. Highly recommend!

Literal absolute worst customer service ever. Was speaking on the phone with a man and was getting yelled at on the phone, he had the worst attitude ever. Was charging me 100+ because of gas and mileage and service when we were in the same town Branford less than 3 miles away from eachother. Very very rude and poor customer service.
SHOP IS VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. I CALLED THIS SHOP AND WHILE SPEAKING TO SOMEONE, THE OWNER WAS IN THE BACKGROUND YELLING AND SWEARING AT ME. THE GUY I WAS TALKING TO WAS APOLOGIZING BECAUSE OF IT. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. ABSOLUTLEY DISRESPECTFUL. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!!

I got up this morning to go to work like I have been doing for years, I turned my car on and put it next to my other car. I went back in the house to grab what I needed for the day, and by the time I made it back out my car was gone. I called the Torrington PD and let them know my cad was gone. The officer came and said your car was towed by Waterbury towing, they are right down the street. I called the phone number, the woman who answered seemed like she was on drugs, incoherent couldn’t understand her, and at times it sounded like she was falling asleep! I finally get her to understand I am going to pick up the car and when I get there the guy who towed my car has an attitude. He admitted that the car was running when he picked it up and took off with it. This company is unprofessional and go after those that are less fortunate. Beware Torrington Residents!!!
I gave this company a four star rating based off the customer service I received. No one likes when their car is towed which can cause tension for the customer. Mrs.Theresa was calm , patience and extremely helpful.
After a long day at work the last thing I needed was to get locked out of my vehicle at midnight in a not-so-friendly area. I decided to call up Waterbury Towing and could not be any happier with the service. The lady on the phone was awesome and told me she’d have someone out very soon. Within about 10 minutes a man by the name Matt was there to help unlock my car. He was friendly and unlocked my door without an issue. I’m thoroughly impressed with their timeliness and efforts to help me out without breaking the bank. Will definitely be calling them in the future if I need a tow service again... hopefully not though!

Complete scumbags! Roadside assistance requested a tow at 3:18 in Stratford. They said pickup by 3:44. I called roadside. Midtown told them 15 minutes. I called Midtown at 4:15. They told me by 4:30. I called back at 5 they told me they will be there shortly. I called roadside at 6 asking them what is taking so long. Roadside said they will call me back in 5 minutes. I call roadside back at 6:30. They put me on hold and said Midtown canceled the call. I call Midtown back and ask what happened. The same rude woman said that Roadside canceled it and hung up after refusing to get my car. Roadside never canceled it. I did ask Midtown to have the manager call me back considering 2 of the former owners live right on my street. The car was to be towed 1 mile. Don't waste 4 hours of your life with a company that has no, absolutely NO customer service ability.
Its Thanksgiving 2021. My parents car got towed from a friends apartment building. We call the tow company and the person- perhaps a woman- who picked up made fun of us saying they saw us on video and laughed because to them it looked like my parents read the tow sign and still parked. No one asked for that, we just wanted the car. My elderly parents go down to the lot to get the car and it wasnt there. I'm at home and I hear ab this 30m after my parents had been waiting, empty lot, no answer on the company phone- by which I mean my mom calls, it sounds like someone picks up, and then there's silence. So I call from home, speak to the person about how long my parents have been waiting, the person puts me on hold- I'm still on hold, it's been 30m now. These ppl ask for cash and my elderly parents had to wait in an empty lot at night, with no word from the company. The car arrived about an hour after my parents had been waiting. Again, as I type I'm still on hold. My only thought is that maybe the person who thought the fact that our car got towed and we had to pay 250 in cash was funny, saw in the video that we're Black, and decided to treat us like trash. Your business has no place in a diverse city like bridgeport where ppl are struggling to get by.
This company damaged my car while towing it and every employee was completely rude and disrespectful. Entire front end damage with zero accountability. Cash only - do not recommend.

They were open to tow our car, but closed when we went to pick it up. They didn't mention that on the phone, just told us to have cash. When someone finally showed up to collect our cash they made a point to say we should be grateful they were nice enough to take time out of their day so we could "go on with our day." I'd unlock a gate for $250 in cash especially when it was my job. You'll notice all the positive reviews mention someone by name.

The tow truck driver Oneil was very kind, pleasant and professional today during my delimna. West Htfd drivers (as usual)were very unsympathetic even though i had my flasher on indicating something was wrong. Thanks to Oneil i felt better.

They towed me from my moms parking lot which is private, but is in a deal with superintendent at building. I was parked there no more than 5 minutes and they towed me at the request of the super.... then tried to charge me 250.00!! Well they will be hearing from DMV... SHADY PLACE!!! Report them! And Post Road, your driver is also towing for Lone Star... Lone Star, your driver is towing for Post Road,.... Something is not right!

THEY TOWED MY CAR KEPT IT OVER THE WEEKEND BECAUSE THE " TOWING OFFICE IS CLOSED ON WEEKENDS " Then come Monday the fee was almost 300 dollars because it stayed over the weekend !!! HOW IF I WAS READT FRIDAY TO TAKE IT OUT?!?!?!? Terrible company will leave 1000 REVIEWS IF IT MEANS SAVING SOMEONE 300 BUCKS

Called for tow from side of road, told me she had to charge me first, never sent bill, or showed up, never called back, poor customer service
They are the worst towing company ever. My gold chain given to me from my deceased grandfather was stolen out of the car. And they charged me 500$ to get my car out. They claimed they had to use special equipment which they didn't. Never use them.
