We were stranded in Newport News and they came picked up my truck and my wife and I rode in the tow truck and really enjoyed the ride. A bad situation turned into meeting 2 super professional people who got us and our truck quickly and safely. I so recommend them!
Had my daughter’s car towed today. Although I didn’t get their names, the drivers customer service skills were top tier. The young man I spoke to was very polite and accommodating. Once they delivered the vehicle to its location, the driver politely assured me the cost had been paid by the insurance company. I am very pleased. Great service!! Was in need of a tow for my sons car, my insurance company was unsuccessful in finding a company for me. Made one call to this company and Paul was able to set everything up for me and get the car home safe and quickly. On a Sunday at that. Very professional and friendly, truly appreciate the service. This business is amazing first the dispatch knew exactly where to send a truck and he was very knowledgeable about my car. Second the driver got to me sooner than the eta I was given. Don’t let the driver fool yall he may be young but he’s fast and could back up my car into a tiny spot with barely any wiggle room. Would gladly call again next time I need anything.

Got a flat from all the construction on 64, Cole’s saved the day. Was going to get my car towed but they went ahead and helped me get my spare on so I could get the tire taken care of on Monday. Appreciate everything, highly recommend.
Top notch all the way, this is what a towing company is supposed to be. I was stranded, called at least 8 other tow companies, and no one would help me, these guys are awesome. Said he'd have someone out in under an hour, guy was there in 20 minutes! Changed the tire, added air to it, didn't gouge on the price either. Hopefully I'm never on a position to need them again, but if I am, I'm definitely calling

I was stranded after my car’s transmission was having problems. I received top-notch, excellent service from both AAA and Cole’s Roadside and Towing service. I was kept extremely well informed with multiple calls and texts. Brandon, from Cole’s towing, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He was on time, very down-to-earth and pleasant to talk with, as I got a ride home, along with my car. He did a very professional and excellent job handling/towing my car home and backed it up perfectly into my driveway. Please support this business!! Ricky is an absolutely amazing person. He came out on a holiday weekend to give me a tow when my car broke down. He made it to me quickly and let me ride in the truck with him to the mechanic. He made sure I had a ride and gave me a detailed receipt to give to my insurance company. Definitely a genuinely kind person and hard worker. I would recommend to anyone!
Reason for giving 2 stars, because any resident can call them out, and call out of spike on another resident who car belong to her fiance, and the car was in a visiting parking space. Granted the car was working and tags are good!!!. I truly feel if MANAGEMENT don't call on a vehicle , RICKY'S TOWING should not come out because a resident calls, especially because the vehicle WASN'T in theirs or anyone spot. P.S. it takes a lot of wasted energy to get into some one else business, and I truly have better things to do than worry about someone else business. FYI after the fact MANAGEMENT said a car can only set in a visiting parking for 5 conservative days... RT&R shame on you for listening to a resident.
He was awesome! I called a few other places and was quoted 90-$120 to take my car 13 miles. Ricky charged me less than that & worked with me so that I could get my car taken care of. I will call him anytime I need a tow!
Ricks towing was an amazing experience all around he was on time he was very helpful with getting the truck out of our yard gate even physically got out and did work he did not have to do for us which was greatly appreciated as well he even helped with getting us back home we had a vehicle that was towed to the scrap yard and he even was patient and kind enough to wait until we were paid from since scrap metal and then let us pay him out of the money from the truck which was very helpful he was also very kind and conversated with us on the ride home and up there which made us feel more comfortable riding with him to get to know a little about each other I will say this if I ever in the future need help with a tow Rick's Towing will definitely have all services of mine I have never had such a wonderful experience in my 32 years of life and I can say out of 32 years I have had at least 12 tows. I have had to deal with in my time and not one was as great experience as he had made for my fiance and I. As well the price that he had gave us was under half price of all other companies if not more than half the price which was very great lived everything about the experience that day and would gladly pay him 60 again for a tow. What a great experience. Needing a tow is stressful and these guys make it about as pleasant of an experience as it could possibly be. I think my drivers name was Jay (he told me his name I’m just horrible with names) was fantastic.

My insurance company called Crystal Ball after the first towing company did not have the gear or the skill to tow my car. Crystal Ball did a super job and displayed TONS of skill and experience. They communicated with me well and finished up with a photo of where they had left the car (because it was after hours) after discussing options with me. If I ever need a tow again I hope they are the ones! Highly recommended. Professional says it all!

I got charged a toll violation, when they were towing my car back across the river. I called to inquire what could be done, and this rude, non-professional man answered. He kept telling me to call the toll people, after I had already spent 25 mins on the phone with them. He then asked what would I like him to do about it, I said to pay it! Obviously that wasn’t an option because they’ve never had that happen before! So not only was it $704 to tow my car, I also got a $20 toll fee tacted onto my bill! Customers beware, you might end up with a $20 toll violation a month after using their service!

Excellent people all around the board, there owner and his wife are some of the best down to earth, fair, hardworking people in the industry. They treat everyone with respect, big shipyards and local companies should learn from them how to treat there employees and customers... I got my nccco r/t certification there, the instructor and the crane instructors are straight up professional very very knowledgeable.
Truckers READ!! Easy and quick unload! I personally had 2 ac units from Trane. Once you arrive to this location to drop off, if you are staying overnight don’t bother calling them unless you are doing a pre call to let them know you are coming which I highly recommend you do! Once you arrive in front of the building do not turn inside and block the gate!! Also do not turn inside at all because the wooden hard to read sign they got outside for us truckers states they don’t want anyone going on the asphalt from the place next door. What I did was go down the road and you will find plenty of parking spaces along the curbs overnight just pay attention to the signs so you’d not park somewhere where is says no parking form a certain point to a certain point. Now as far as dropping off! You will have to back in to get unloaded because it’s not the most open space once you get in their. That being said I have a 376in wheelbase and I backed in and was just find to get around to unchain and unload and got out just fine so do not overthink it!! Plus you do got a intersecting road to turn into to use for all the space in the world you need to get yourself up to back somewhat straight into the crane yard. Good luck and be safe driver 😎🤙
Poor ownership and accountability made for a horrible experience. I ordered an 80 ton crane to arrive at 9:00 and I got a 55 ton crane at 12:00. I called Paul and he argued with me. Do not hire them.
I had an emergency tree job which took a crane to get it off my house. The operator was outstanding explained how the tree was going to be removed off my house. I would call this company again for any crane services ****

These people are seriously the kindest. I ran out of gas on the interstate, and I called him to bring me some. They weren’t able to because everyone was dispatched, but the guy I spoke to on the phone told me to call VDOT, and not only are they bringing the gas but they’re doing it for free. I love when businesses save me money and are super kind in the process. 15/10 - definitely recommend this company.
This company was a lot of help when I was broken down on the side of the road. you asked me how to proceed as far as getting my tire changed on the side of the road because I did not want to be towed. I just wanted to change the tire. at the end, I was unable to change the tire and he was more than happy to come and towed the vehicle at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much for being reliable when somebody’s in need of help.
