Travis arrived, hook to trailer ready to pull the rig up a hill. When residents tried to pass on their way to their homes. He took time to explain the situation (I have no patience with rubber neckers). 1) the driver did not attempt to deliver an OVERSIZE load at night. 2) he unhooked trailer repositioning he truck allowing all residents to pass. Excellent service!!!

Has a great experience working with them; they were at my car within half an hour, and the gentleman who came to pick it up was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. My car had broken down in a rather awkward spot in a parking lot, and he went the extra mile maneuvering the truck to load it. Additional props considering my car also has a relatively low front bumper, and he was extremely careful loading and unloading it. While I did hit their minimum rate given how short of a tow it was, they were still a fraction of the cost one of the other towing services in the area quoted me at. All things considered, I truly could not recommend them enough. They truly eased what was already a stressful situation, and if this happened again I wouldn't hesitate to call on them.

We got our car towed by Luis, and everything was fine except Luis made up a story and changed the price that we agreed on. We called him at 11:50 AM today and told him that we needed our car to be towed 20 miles away from Alexandria. He gave us a specific price quote of $180, and we told him we would call back later in the day. After we called back and he picked up our car, we asked him to confirm the price he told us in the morning, but he denied that he gave us that price. He then proceeded to say that he told us it would be $220, and that he saw we had been calling around because he received calls from us for both his towing companies (even though we only called the Alexandria number for United Towing and we didn’t call anyone else because he offered an affordable price). The only reason we had to wait to call him back was because our car was delayed at the dealership for a few hours. He also said that we told him another company had offered us the cheaper option of $180 when we never told him that because he was the one who offered it to us in the morning. We really do not understand where he got this story from, considering that this did not happen (we are staring at our call logs right now). We eventually reached a middle ground of $200, but our entire problem with this was not with the price but with the dishonesty. We appreciate the affordable price that United Towing offers, and we appreciate that Luis was very attentive with the car. We just wish that Luis hadn’t acted like we were the ones lying and that our agreement from earlier in the day had been honored.

I waited for hours for the Metro Motors driver. AAA told me the driver was 20 minutes from my location, but I had to call AAA again when nobody showed up for an hour. That sequence happened 3 times (driver was supposed to be 20 minutes away but never showed or called). After 3 hours of waiting, I heard that the Metro Motors driver claimed I was not at the vehicle when he showed up. That's a lie, and anyway, he was supposed to call when he was a few minutes away. If you look up other reviews you'll see that this is a familiar pattern for Metro Motors. They decide they don't want to tow and then lie about it. I will never use them!

Just giving you 4 stars because there’s always room for improvement. As soon as they were contacted even though it took them a while to get to my location they were courteous, and ready to assist in whatever way they could help. Driver arrived at location willing to help answered all my questions.
This company is the most unprofessional in the area. Their staff decided to tow my vehicle after providing the correct pass they require to park vehicles in and towed the car anyways which had dew on the windshield with other cars in the lot. This lack of initiative and professionalism is disturbing and predatory when they foot a 250 buck total bill for their mistake. Highly unrecommend them to anyone to contract out to them.

This company is part of a predatory system that profits by working with HOAs and businesses to remove vehicles without proper notice, effectively holding personal property hostage for high fees. It’s a shady, exploitative practice, and unfortunately, this is how they make money. People deserve to know how these operations work—companies like this should be held accountable and exposed for what they are.

Any time I have been stuck somewhere because my car wouldn't start, Superior Towing has always been quick to respond and get me to a place of service. Time after time, Superior Towing has been a tremendous help in a very difficult situation.
Their dispatcher was pleasant and professional, and called me back 3 minutes after I'd talked to her to let me know that the driver was on his way. The driver showed up within 15 mintues of that call, and had my car hooked up and ready to tow in less than a minute! He gave me a lift, along with the car, to my mechanic's. Excellent company to deal with in a stressful situation -- everyone was calm, nice, and kept me informed of what was going on! I will definitely have their number in my phone to call next time I, or anyone I know, needs a tow!
If there could be a zero or minus star that would be more appropriately. To say that my transaction was ghetto fabulous was an understatement. The female dispatcher was a cross between the Bloods/the Crips and Empire. Shame on you USAA for allowing this drama into my life. This so called towing company picked up my vehicle on behalf of USAA Tow Services. 2 hours went by and I didn't receive a call or text letting me know they picked up my vehicle and was on the way. I contacted them to get an update and that's when I was told the location I requested didn't exist and they had delivered my car but they couldn't get ahold of me. I said ma'am I didn't receive a text or call and how could you deliver a vehicle to a place that did not exist. She than warned me not to over talk her and that if I wanted to continue this conversation she would put a male on cause she knows I wouldn't talk to him like that. I said you mean to ask where my car was at and the location did exist than she warned me not to back talk her and hung up the phone. (Yeah because a Army 1SG from Detroit....Iraq and Afghan Vet was so intimidated with her threats) .I walked back out to the spot that didn't exist and did a clean sweep of the area. They kept my vehicle hostage and another tow company had to be dispatched to pick it up.
Fast service. Called to get my car that wouldn't start up towed to get serviced. Charlie arrived in 40 min and deftly maneuvered into my parking garage and had me at the service center in another 5 min. Communicative and affordable.
Amazing service. Yesterday (NEW YEARS) I was traveling to see family got 30min down the road out of a 5 hour drive and had to pull off to the side of the highway. Called for roadside assistance, got a call 10min later that he was on the way and confirmed My Location. He arrived 10min after the call and towed me to the nearest shop. The next day that shop didn’t open (not sure why but hours said 7:30 open and no one was there) called for roadside assistance again to take me to the multi care jiffy lube down the street. Received the same guy with a phone call, he was very fast and understanding even though it was early and freezing cold outside. Great service, very friendly, very fast! I would definitely recommend!

They towed my car once, and after I followed all the rules and renewed my tags online, they towed it again. When I called to sort it out, the staff was rude and unprofessional. Under Virginia law, when you renew your vehicle registration online or by mail, you have a grace period while waiting for your new registration and stickers. Towing companies must honor this and cannot tow your vehicle just because you don’t have the physical sticker yet. I believe my rights were violated, and I plan to report this towing company to the local police department for their unfair and possibly unlawful actions. Be careful with this company — they don’t seem to respect customers or the law.
They towed my one day purchased car from my apartment parking lot on Sunday night and i went the next morning to pay and pick it up they charged me flat rate of 150$+ 30$ because it was Sunday + another 30$ because they towed it between 7pm and 8 am !? What a bullshit 60$ just because they decided to pick it up on Sunday around 11 pm its not my fault so i end up paying 210$
Lowlife activity at this tow company…. Towed my friend’s car and went through the whole thing. I guess they didn’t find anything good enough to steal so they threw everything in her passenger seat leaving it a mess. Claimed “they don’t ever go in the car” OK.
My car was towed from our community despite the fact that it had a valid parking pass. When I came to retrieve my car, I asked the staff to check inside, since my pass had fallen from its usual hanging position. Without opening the door, the staff clearly saw the pass lying down and even took a picture of it. He confirmed that the pass was visible. However, after speaking with his manager, I was told I would still be charged $150 (a $40 “discount” was applied). I explained that this was unfair and requested to speak directly with the manager, but I was told the manager was unavailable. I was threatened that if I did not pay immediately, my car would be held over the weekend and I would be charged even more. Under this pressure, I had no choice but to pay. This situation was caused by negligence: the staff who towed my vehicle did not check the inside of the car for a pass, even though it was clearly visible. My pass is adhesive-free and sometimes falls, which is outside of my control, but it was still in the car. In addition to the towing fee, I also had to pay $40 for Uber that day. I called again on Wednesday, September 17 and was promised a call back from the manager, but I have not received any response to date.
So disrespectful, stubborn and selfish people, they towed my car from the spot of the house I was visiting, and 30 minutes later I went to get my car. The lady was so rude, and stubborn. They damaged the frond my car, beside that I didn’t authorized 230 for only one hour but I saw 230 charges on my card, I will definitely claim the damage of car.

This company is extremely predatory. They had claims that my visitor was parked incorrectly and said they were towed from a TOTALLY incorrect building thats across the street. They staffing was incredibly rude and making little comments and refused to print any documentation of the event because it would “take too long if they printed for people” highly recommend to document everything and file reports when needed against this company. They also said the car was towed at 11 pm yet air tag proof shows when the car was towed around 3 am. They just want money and make rude comments that we should follow the protocols that our apartment states… we do and we still get towed. The company doesn’t care and will continue to do predatory behavior like this and i hope apartment complexes and cities stop using this company.
Towed my vehicle even though I had an active permit through park mobile for the next 12+hrs at my apartments lot. Showed them the live meter that was still running and they still wouldn’t release the vehicle - predatory towing company with terrible business practices and miserable employees. Hope their racket gets investigated by authorities.
It’s 4am and I came with friends to pick up their car, shoutout George and Frank. Still had to pay the minimum fee but for being a boisterous customer they handled me well and got me out of there and on the way home within 10mins or less. A1 Towing WRONGFULLY towed my vehicle when I had a valid permit. I have emailed them proof of their mistake, but I have not gotten my money back yet. It seems like I'm not the only person this has happened to.
I had an awful experience with the towing company that is used by my apartment management. My rental car was towed, and when I picked it up, it was obvious someone had driven it and eaten inside the vehicle — there were crumbs, food wrappers, and the gas tank was completely empty, and the tires were low. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I’ve filed a report with Virginia Consumer Affairs and attached photo evidence showing the condition of the car after it was released. All apartment companies and other agencies who contract A1 Towing to tow for their property should seriously reconsider doing business with this towing company and take responsibility for the contractors they allow on their property. The attached photos are the day before and from this morning after I picked it up.
