After an incredible amount of bad luck with my car and other tow trucks, I called Tom Coop. They gave me an excellent deal, and were very kind. They even offered to put the donut on my car when we couldn’t get the lug nuts off! Highly recommend.
After calling multiple other towing companies who couldn't come tonight or were unable to tow our vehicle completely I was lucky enough to get ahold of Tom Coop LLC, not only were they friendly - they were on site to get my vehicle within the hour and had it delivered shortly after. 10/10 recommend to anyone needing a tow

It's a dark day when you have to tow your car somewhere - but this was as pleasant as an unpleasant experience can be. The dispatcher was kind, and the tow truck driver was helpful - he in fact told me I could likely submit my tow to insurance for reimbursement since it was due to injury to my car outside of my control - something I never knew and he was in fact correct about.
If your car is getting impounded because of a parking infraction, let’s hope it’s these guys towing! From start to finish everything was quick and transparent, I had no issues over the phone and getting their address. When arriving all the paper work was handled smoothly and getting my car was no issue. On top of that, I only cared about the condition of my car, it had no damages and they towed it via flat bed since it was equipped with all wheel drive. The drive home I didn’t notice anything out of the sorts. If they have this much care with a strangers car I’m sure if you requested their services you’d be more than pleased.

Grade A++ Service that well above and beyond what was expected. Great Value and Excellent Service. Glenn's Towing was able to "extract" an old non-running Chevy pick-up from my driveway on a hill and was able to talk directly with the Shipping Transport company that was hired to move the Pickup truck from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas (not cheap). Let's just say the mega named Towing company in town would not talk to the shipping transport company to determine a hand off spot where the truck could be loaded. Glenn's Towing service was required because the shipping transport company claimed they could not get their tow / shipping vehicles onto my hill to pickup the Chevy Pickup Truck. The best about Glenn's Towing was they were willing to perform the short tow from my hill to Route 51 with practically no warning from the Shipping Transport company, on a Saturday Morning after getting a call from the shipping transport company over a week later after my wife and I contacted them. If I ever had to have a vehicle towed again in the Pittsburgh area, I will be calling Glenn's Towing first. I highly recommend that you do the same if you need something towed in the greater Pittsburgh area, call Glenn's Towing.

I never post reviews, but this company is too good NOT to post about. We called him to tow a van, but when we he arrived, we couldn’t find the keys. So as we looked, he filled the tires with air. We still couldn’t find them and he waited a very generous amount of time before he left without asking for a dime. Then we found the key 10 minutes after he left. He came right back! Before he got set up to tow it, my friend said “you know if you can just jump it, I can drive it…it just needs a jump.” So he jumps it and waits around for a while to make sure it’s still good. After he leaves she starts driving it, and it stalls right in the middle of the street. So he came back again! This time he jumped it, and he drove it where it needed to go. I’m hesitant to tell you what this all cost because he should’ve charged way more and I don’t want to hurt his business. But let’s just say I was shocked how little he wanted for all that. Couldn’t recommend him any more.

I understand i might have been in the right place at the right time, but going from my breakdown on 376 to home in 35 minutes is all thanks to these folks. Great rate, top notch service, driver was excellent.
Joe was awesome! He arrived earlier than expected, super helpful and friendly. We pretty much had no idea what to do with our situation but he was super easy to work with and really pleasant. Efficient, easy, would recommend for anyone needing a tow service.

After a frustrating experience with Erie roadside assistance, this guy showed up for a lockout within 5 minutes of being dispatched. Pleasant & fast - like a super hero!
I dropped my keys down a storm drain - thought this was going to be a nightmare, since my car keys are hard to make - they cost about $500 and take 2-3 days to get from the dealership. Since I was parked in a 2-hour parking zone I had no idea how many tickets that would mean. Even opening the car so I could get my garage door opener (so I could get into my home) would have sent the car into lockdown, meaning it would have to be towed to a dealership to be started again when the key came in. The gentleman from Rick Sprague, dispatched from AAA, came quickly (and it was a cold night, so this was really nice) and rather than just popping open the door, took the time to look around and miraculously found and fished my keys out of the storm drain. Saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of wasted time. Wonderful to have someone actually solve the problem rather than doing the easier thing and leaving me with a big headache. Thank you so much!

Had my first break down on the freeway and consequently had no clue what to do. Dennis had a nice lighthearted attitude and helped me figure it all out which helped the "break down" feel more like a hitch in the road. Great communication and everything was exactly in the estimated time frame.

LAMAR (Big Head) was fantastic. I was having a rough morning with my car (cried a parking lot) and needed a tow. He completely changed my day around. He fast, a great driver, and a kind man. He even told me exactly where to go to fix my problem bc the first location I chose was not it ( he was not trying to sell me it actually was bad). He told me even more information about my car and confirmed that the price for my repair was accurate so I didn’t get scammed. I had to have my bmw towed and Tag Towing(The Auto Gallery) made the process as painless as possible. I couldn’t recommend a business more highly than this one, they were very patient and understanding with my situation and also very timely with responses to any and all questions I had regarding their services. Not to mention very reasonably priced! The owner Brian was very polite and accommodating throughout and the exact same could be said about the amazing driver Jordan, who actually towed my vehicle. I am now relaxing and enjoying my vacation with family, and it is all due to Ferra’s Automotive. Our van broke down on the PA Turnpike as we traveled from Ohio. They came towed us to their garage. It was Friday and we were heading to meet family at the Jersey shore. They were able to look at the van and replace the part it needed and get us on our way! They were professional, responsible, friendly, and kind. I do not want my van to break down again, but if it does anywhere near Pittsburgh. They are my go to call!
My third year of coming to Ferras. First year was for body work; the way in which I was treated on that occasion led me to return for my first inspection and oil change. Repeated the inspection visit a year later with the same positive result. Most recently I came to Ferras for my third visit and the results were the same. Everyone there is friendly and treats you like a valued friend. From the front desk to the inner office it was a stress-free experience. I can't recommend Ferras highly enough. I don't often respond to surveys but in this instant I had to get on board and be perfectly honest💥💥💥💥💥
On January 5th 2021, I was heading to the VA Hospital to take my dad for surgery. After being pushed off the road into a sidewalk by another vehicle, I busted both passenger side tires. I was stranded in the rain at 6 am, completely dark. After finding a ride for my dad, I located Ferra's through Google reviews! One call and the driver arrived quickly. They had me back on the road and I was able to be at the hospital before my dad got out of surgery. The kindness of the owner, the driver and staff was incredible. I can't thank them enough. Great work all!

Time and money well spent. I emailed the shop and received an immediate response and then Brian called and I schedule my 1960 comet for a fuel pump and basic services with an inspection. Completed sooner than expected and for half of what I budgeted. They took the time to thoroughly inspect this car, adjusted breaks, oil, filter, lube, one light bulb and managed to repair my fuel pump vice replacing keeping my car near 100 percent original equipment. Thanks.

Top of the line number one service Jim was absolutely fantastic he knew exactly what he was doing and he knew exactly what he was talking about thank you very much guys!
I took my car in to have a problem diagnosed and fixed (the battery was dying every night) I had just replaced the battery that week and all they could tell me was to get another new batter, which I did. But the problem still happened (now on my third battery). After having my car for the entire day they weren't able to diagnose or fix the car, which would be fine if they didn't charge me for NOT FIXING MY PROBLEM. I took my car to a different shop and they we appalled to think that someone would still charge you after they fixed nothing. DO NOT take your car here unless you want to pay them for not fixing the problem. The only reason they got 2 stars and not 1 is because my wife said they were "friendly" (while charging us for not fixing the car).
I wouldn't even consider going anywhere but Critchlow's for my car repairs. Working with Joe is super easy and the technicians are great. They do great work and I trust them 100%. The prices are fair and I NEVER have to worry about being taken advantage of. If it's broken, they will fix it; if it's not, they won't. Simple. I would absolutely recommend them.
Had a dead battery on the side of a busy road, at 5p m, called AAA, this company was the 1 to respond. Jake, the driver/mechanic showed up almost an hour before estimated arrival time, had my car battery tested and replaced within 10mins. I opted for a new battery, roadside. It was only about 7bux more than advance auto charged for a new battery and I wouldn't have had to go out of my way to buy it and have it placed. So convenient to just be one call and done! Very grateful to Jake and this auto body shop for helping me, quickly, in my time of need. Thanks, guys!
Highly recommend this place. They are honest, quick & know what they’re doing. We had such an easy and seamless experience setting up a time to get our truck towed in & repaired. My car started overheating tonight, (on a late, dark, rainy Sunday evening). I had to pull over on the side of the road in West Mifflin, PA. There weren’t any businesses/homes around me. Many other places were closed/unavailable. I called Pittsburgh Towing Services, and they arrived and had my car towed within 30-40 minutes. The workers were very friendly, professional, and efficient. My car was towed 10-minutes away from my location to a shop. The driver (was given permission from his boss to) let me ride with him to the shop. I’m very grateful for them because I wasn’t left alone in the dark and rain. :) I 100% recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.
Great service. Joe was there within an hour on a rainy day. Even in the bad weather, he took extra care in loading from a steep street onto the flatbed to help protect the bumpers. Dropped off my car at the shop, and kept me updated with texts and pics along the way. Highly recommended!

My young daughter had an accident in my car. Pittsburgh Towing Services actually seen the accident and pulled right over to help. With my child being a minor I was extremely nervous. The driver calmed my daughter down. Also got on the phone with me and assured me that they would tow my car to the shop that I use and get my child home safe to me. I owe them a Hugh thanks. Pittsburgh Towing is awesome! I waited 4 hours for AAA to help me before they finally said no one was coming at 12am. 30 min after I contacted them and he was there - amazing speed. He found the issue with my vehicle almost immediately. I have a newer car and the parking break kept engaging when attempting to tow me. Instead of risking damage to my vehicle, he towed me to a safer location, went to his garage a bit down the road to get what he needed to patch my coolant line right there on the side of the road. He then told me to call him if anything went wrong and he would bring his flatbed up to tow me the rest of the way. He was extremely kind and really helped me in a tough situation. Above and beyond customer service. I will be calling them from now on if I’m ever broken down in Pittsburgh and you should too! Thank you!

I had to leave my car parked on 579/Crosstown after it broke down. The owner and his wife called me when they got to the car to keep me updated. And he towed it an hour plus to my driveway. We rear ended a car in front of us in the ft Pitt tunnel. T.J. was recommended to us by a "tunnel maintenance employee" for lack of a better term (shout out to them for also helping us out of the tunnel!) We cancelled the tow scheduled via our insurance company, and T.J. definitely arrived before our previously scheduled tow would have. He quickly got our car hitched up and gave us a ride to his shop. He was very polite, professional, and courteous, and helped us calm down from a scary situation. I would definitely recommend using T.J. if you ever need a tow!

I’m 22 and this was the first time I had car trouble. I was a wreck. This was the only company that answered me at 11pm at night. I was stranded on the side of the road because my tire fell off and they answered the phone quickly and were there within a half an hour. They were extremely helpful, got me off the side of the road and towed to where I needed to go. They even helped me and showed me where to drop off my keys at the Honda dealership. They dropped me off at the nearest gas station like (as requested) so my friends could drive me home. Have their number saved in case I ever have trouble again. 10/10 recommend. Thanks SO much.
I had some car trouble and Dave's Towing showed up where I was in less then 15 minutes to get me to a service station. They were prompt, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. A highlight on an otherwise very lousy day.

My car broke down and I was stranded. After calling four towing companies, TJ was the only one who stepped up to help. While I waited, he answered every call and gave me updates on his arrival. When he showed up, he treated my car with care and brought it safely to my mechanic. After the drop-off, he even called to let me know my wallet had fallen and that he had secured it for me. TJ went far beyond what you’d expect from a towing service. He was reliable, professional, and genuinely kind. I would recommend him without hesitation for anyone in need of fast and trustworthy help.

Good people
Don't use this Towing company, even if you have Roadside Assistance and your Insurance Co. says they are available for the tow. This company is horrible!!. I used them on 9/16/2024, thru my Roadside Assistance Insurance, and paid an additional $70.56. They came and picked up my car, put in on their flatbed tow truck, and was to take it to Century III KIA. I assumed that's what happened, until 3 days later, I get a call from the Dealership asking if I had my car dropped off because they couldn't locate my car anywhere on their lot. I then called B Line Towing and spoke to the Driver who picked up my car and asked, where my car was and I was told that my car was sitting in their secured lot, because they got backed up. I asked why my car was never dropped off and he, gives me these idiotic excuses that makes no sense. I paid to have my car towed, it was on a flatbed truck and choose to take it to your facility instead, never informed that my car wasn't delivered, which wouldn't have mattered and then had the audacity to have an attitude with me. I then had to call the police to put in a Report about my car being missing. They called the owner of B Line Towing, and she tells them that I knew that my car wasn't going to be delivered, that was the first lie, then she said their tow truck broke down, that was the second lie, then she said she didn't know my car was in their lot for 3 days that was the third lie, then she said as a good gesture she would refund me back my $70.56 and that was a lie. She even had the nerve to call me and ask that I not Report her to my Roadside Assistance company because that is her Bead and Butter and that's how she makes her money. Well, I wouldn't treat your Customers this way and expect to make much Bread and Butter.

After dealing with my insurance company and there roadside services and having three different companies cancel they showed up! He was so professional and kept us in the loop with what was going on. I highly recommend them.

Way overpriced for what they offer. They will nickle and dime you out of large sums of money. Vehicle was towed only a few miles to their yard and cost over $1000 to get it released 2 hours later.
The most terrible business i've ever dealt with. Terrible customer service with no office to even sit in I was trying to ask for help and everyone was acting like robots... the employees tell you one thing and the boss of the place tells you something different so you dont know whos really the owner... i was charged an extra 100 on my bill when i arrived lol they did everything to try to keep my car... When i received my vehicle my back bumper was hanging off of the vehicle I have the receipt of the damage that was reported on the vehicle before it was towed but i wont go there because i wont get anything back anyway from these guys by the looks of it... luckily it wasnt a big deal and i was able to just slap it back on its like they were tampering or hit another car with my vehicle... so be careful and take pictures before they send it to this specific tow lot... not to mention they towed my vehicle a day late and told me i would get some money refunded due to the late tow... they didnt give me the money...
Terrible business, only getting by on towing people's cars there and then charging them outrageous amounts to get it back. They were asked to tow my car to my body shop and instead tote it to their yard and are going to charge me over $300 to get it back. And then I have to pay for a tow to get it to my body man
I was sitting at a stop sign during rush hour traffic and was hit from behind by an non-licensed, uninsured driver and sustained injury to my neck. When Swissvale Police arrived, along with ambulance, I specifically stated to have my vehicle towed by AAA even though it was driveable because I had to go to ER. Swissvale Police ignored my request and had my vehicle towed by Culgan Towing. When I was released from UPMC Shadyside Hospital I tried to retrieve my car but was told I could not have it until I paid for the towing. I receive disability income and told them I have AAA so it is truly unfair that I have to come up with money I do not have to get my car when I was the one obeying the traffic law of stopping at the stop sign. It has already been over a week and the fees are continuing to add up. I've asked Swissvale Police to help me (because I am the victim), but they are with Culgan Towing. Why are you treating a disabled victim so unfairly. They will not even let me get my belongings out of the car. I am staying with someone & have papers in the car to get a Section 8 apt & now I'm going to lose the apt. Can someone please explain to me how this can be legally right. By the time I get my check for August, I will have to give the whole amount ($800) to Culgan leaving me with nothing. That might not even be enough by then seeing that they are charging a daily storage fee.Not the $200 deposit I need to pay for apt and nothing to pay my way at where I'm staying. I was given until August 16 because that is when I would've been able to get the apt after paying the $200 on the 1st. My best friend even wired me $100 from FL & I tried to make an agreement with Culgan, but to my dismay, they were completely heartless. So as it stands, I will be without a vehicle and homeless. I am in constant pain and the stress is making me severely depressed. I thought the Police was suppose to protect & serve. Taking from the poor instead of helping them is why America is the way it is. Is there anyone out there who can PLEASE help me.
While admitted in the trauma unit Was told I could go and receive my very personal sensitive items out of the rental they towed house keys i.d wallets social security cards etc owner refused, argued with me that I was told I Couldn’t GET IT WHEN INDEED I WAS NOT OR I WOULDNT HAVE WAISTED MY TIME walked out while I was talking to him and everything -THE OWNER WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, bias, very rude, and carless. So I had a huge tire blowout, in the middle of a busy afternoon, with tons of things to do! I called Howard’s and they sent someone promptly, and I was in contact with the driver immediately! The drivers name was JEFFRY, he was fast, professional, fair and accommodating! He towed me to the tire shop, and waited with me while I confirmed my plans. He did everything he could to get me going, so I could still make it to pick my kids up from school on time! I WILL call again, and I WILL recommend! Thanks again JEFFRY, your my Special J!
I got my car towed from CARSON ST a month ago and they said it would be 75$ to hook it up and $4 a mile after that. The people were very nice, we got it towed 7 miles away to a garage nearby, the total amounted to $103.00. We used a credit card. When we checked our bank statement it said they had taken $185.00 out of my account!!!!!!!!!! When we called Howard's a man answered and said ohhh okay hold on and he never came back!!!! We called the credit card company and told them about the scam, so they took automatically took the 82$ off. I have the receipt for 103$ and everything from the driver!! This place is a scam just looking for people who are DESPERATE for help!! Do NOT GO HERE!!!
My husband had our car towed for parking in a no parking zone. The guys were so nice about the entire thing. They told him that if he ever needed anything they would take good care of him. They did! He backed into a poll and knocked out the tail light in our trailblazer. He took it to Howard and Howard found him the cheapest replacement and replaced it for us for no cost. Excellent customer service, and great compassion and experienced well in their line of work. Definitely recommend for any auto care you need! If they can not do it they will refer you to the best people that can!
For some reason I always come home to find someone parked in my assigned parking spot that I pay monthly for and there are few things more annoying to me than that. Luckily, Howard's is great and professional. The truck showed up in 10 minutes and I was able to park in my spot within 15 minutes. In one situation, the person who's car was being towed was very aggressive and hostile and the tow truck driver basically looked out for me and handled the situation.
These fine gentleman rescued my car after it broke down. Highly recommend!
