Unfortunately, I’ve had to use Tuffy’s twice in the past few months. Fortunately, they did a great job! Quick to come to the rescue, polite and reasonably priced.
I can’t express how much Steve at Tuffy’s turned what seemed like such a chaotic moment for me into one where I felt so much peace. I’m sure when they got my call that I needed my Tesla towed they weren’t too thrilled, but they never showed it. Steve stood in the rain and made sure we were both as safe and as dry as possible while towing my vehicle. He was so personable while making sure to take extra care of my car. I will recommend Tuffys to everyone! Thank you for being a light, Steve and Shanna!
Tuffy’s is the service that was recommended by my insurance company after I hit a curb when I was avoiding another vehicle and cutting my sideway. I’m glad that they did. The dispatcher took down my insurance information and told me how long it would be. She was spot on with her time. Billy arrived and was able to help me out, jumping my battery( it died while I had the emergency flashers on) and quickly loaded it up and took it to my mechanic. I’ll use Tuffy’s from now on and recommend them to everyone.
Tuffy’s is the best in Columbus and the entire area. They have helped me out so many times. I don’t know what I would have done without the owner, Jason, and his amazing team. They go above and beyond every single time I’ve used them. One time I had a wreck and my car was about to get towed by the contracted City tow service. I was literally sitting in my totaled car calling Tuffy’s before I even got out. They showed up within minutes and saved me from being saddled with runaway expenses from the overpriced and under-quality service the city contracts with. Jason took my broken car to the best place in town to get evaluated. The next thing I knew, my car was totaled and I had a big fat insurance check in my hand. It was all because Jason and the Tuffy’s team responded perfectly and had all the right answers above and beyond the call of duty. The price was so reasonable and Jason even helped me find a replacement vehicle I could afford. Trust Tuffy’s. I do!!!!

We have used this company for 40+ years. Once again, we experienced their excellence after they towed my daughter's car that was a total loss from a hit and run driver who was uninsured in unemployed. They operate the way most businesses did 30 years ago when most businesses appreciated and valued their customers. They answer answer the phone, they have employees that you can clearly communicate with, they are professional, they are efficient, they don't have an evil/money based agenda, they are highly competent, and they have very solid expert leadership who still gets their hands dirty. Had them tow my 2012 Audi a4 to the shop and our driver James was super informative and professional. They also didn’t charge me an arm and a leg! Would recommend the company and this driver to anyone looking for a tow!
This is not a locally owned towing service!! There is no "Roy and Dot". It is based out of California and when you call you are talking to a call center in California. There is no one that man's the office,only drivers who are only there if they are not out on calls. My 16 year old son called them for a tow one night, he was 3 miles from home and the driver convinced him that his vehicle would be better off locked up in their yard. Well it was$500 later and several hours of waiting until someone showed up at the office for us to get the truck back. At the end of the day, there were two drivers that were really trying to help us get our sons truck back and I am thankful for them, but everyone else we dealt with by phone ( not in person) and the driver who initially towed my son's truck are terrible and will take advantage of you if they can. BEWARE of this company and do not let "Cornbread" tow your vehicle!

Just a week ago “Samuel” towed my vehicle w/ a canoe on top, back to Columbus. Upon arriving he moved with a speed I’ve never seen other drivers work. He strapped the vehicle down the most secure I’ve seen and in little time. His tow truck was clean and new. He was very professional throughout the ordeal. Samuel is an Army veteran so you’re in good hands! The man prides himself on excellence and customer service! I’m so glad my insurance chose him. For Samuel… it’s all in the name “Excellent Towing”. Excellent Towing Services LLC is one of the best Towing Services in about 250 mile radius of Columbus, GA. Fort Mitchell, AL and Phenix City, AL areas to work with. They have very excellent customer service and support just like it’s name. They are very responsive, helpful and reliable when called upon. My nephew‘s car died on the way home from Georgia back to DC. Since He is a international student and could not speak English very well. So I helped him called Asap Towing Company. The super nice gentleman answered all my questions and very quickly arrived to the place and moved my nephew’s car to a auto shop. He also helped my nephew jumped start the vehicle and rolled up car windows with out any additional charge. I really want recommend his excellent service to anyone!

Is a scam should be shut down and should lose they city contract we all understand when a car get towed but they have a rule where you can’t take your jump, pack back to jump your car so they can charge you an extra $45 to jump it for you majority of cars need a jump for you not allowed to bring your own jump pack in and have to pay $45 for something that takes 2 minutes of they time is crazy

The turbo blew on my truck just outside of London, with an oversized load on, i called Capital, & they had a driver there within an hour! This is a predatory towing company in partnership with the sheriffs department and Columbus police department. Recently, I was in a car wreck on I85. While, I was taken to the hospital for treatment Columbus police department officer contacted griffin and griffin towing to come and remove my vehicle from the side of the road. Upon being discharged from the hospital, I contacted the tow company to retrieve my property(truck) and was told when I asked what are the fees so that I can come retrieve my property. Not, one but two reps told me that due to privacy laws they can not give me that information. Knowing that this is illegal I reached out to Columbus police department were I was told to contact the officer who responded to the wreck. That didn't help as Columbus police department stopped answering the phone lines. So, I failed 911 and had Decatur police department contact the Columbus police department and guess what... They didn't answer for them. So, Decatur police department contact the sheriffs office of the county Columbus is located. The Sheriffs office told me that the tow company says that's their policy and there's nothing they can do. Well, I reached out to the FTC(federal trades commission) to file a report and when I told FTC they immediately took the report and submitted it to consumer protection lawyers, stating that Griffin and Griffin towing is partaking in predatorial and deceptive business practices. That by law they cannot withhold information such as fees storage fees or towing fees information from a customer. They cannot require you a customer to verify that you are the owner of your property if the property was told without your consent. Beware this company and call the proper authorities now reach out to FTC

They came to get my truck git a courtesy call thirty minutes ahead had up and gone in less than 10 minuets handed me my paperwork and back to work the guy was extremely nice and very professional

I understand that people aren't exactly thrilled to be here but the lady working the window had the most vile attitude. I tried to be overwhelmingly nice to counter it but I'm convinced someone must have never hugged her because it was nothing but animosity.
When everything goes perfect - what is there to say? They came in the time designated - the driver called 30 minutes out - and when he came - no drama - just a couple of quick hooks to the van and they pulled it up - secured it - gave me my check- and it was gone. I could not have asked for a better experience - thanks!

Never received service and Coles towing refusing to give refund. I have been trying for several months to get a refund. I highly recommend using a different tow service. I would recommend Wimmers tow service.
Cole’s Towing delivered outstanding service after an accident at my workplace. Their quick response—arriving in just 20 minutes—made a stressful situation much easier.
USAA my insurance company, just told me they are dropping this towing service from any future services. Don’t waste your time. They only come when it benefits them. Requesting my insurance remove them from any consideration for roadside service. I am only 15 mins from Columbus broke down and they wanna give me some bs about being too far away.
Coles towing not only took care of my car issue, they took care of me! I was 2 hrs away from home when my car broke down. They not only towed my car to a shop, they allowed their driver, Evan, to drive me to my destination, about 20 min from repair shop. I was concerned about having to call an Uber and get to where I needed to be on time, but their kindness kept my stress level down. Evan is awesome!! He not only introduced himself with a big smile, he was very nice and enjoyable to talk to along the ride. Thank you Coles towing and Evan!!
