Excellent Service from BTS! I had the pleasure of working with Bruce and Bruce Jr. from BTS (Father and Son) to transport a couple of my vintage cars to another location. The cars didn’t have keys, so loading them onto the flatbed wasn’t an easy task — but they handled everything with incredible care and professionalism. They showed up right on time, took their time to make sure each vehicle was safely and securely loaded, and treated the cars as if they were their own. Their attention to detail and calm, patient approach really stood out. It’s rare to find people this reliable, skilled, and courteous. Bruce from BTS was truly a pleasure to work with. I had a spring coil issue that caused my car to be low to the ground and undrivable. I had it originally towed by a different company and had a terrible experience with them. When i had to get the car towed again, I called Bruce and I had a completely opposite experience with me. What was an originally tedious and time-consuming task first time around was so much more smoother and quick with Bruce. He knew exactly what he was doing and was very friendly the entire time! I would highly recommend Bruce from BTS for any towing services!

Worst experience ever — complete scam! I came to Plaza First to grab some food and parked in the lot right there. After that, I walked just two stores down to quickly pick up one more thing. I was gone for maybe 10 minutes max. When I came back, I saw my car already being towed! This is nothing but a money grab. The towing company and the lot owner are clearly working together to trap people. No warning, no grace period — just wait for someone to step off the lot for a second and boom, they snatch your car. It feels like dealing with the mafia. They don’t care about helping the community or running a fair business — it’s just about taking your car and charging ridiculous fees to get it back. Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid this place at all costs. Don’t shop here, don’t park here, and don’t support businesses that let this kind of predatory behavior happen.
WARNING – STAY AWAY! This place is running a predatory towing scam. We parked in the plaza to eat, and when we returned the next day to go to another restaurant in the same plaza, they towed our car within minutes. Employees even said the owner watches people through cameras and tows cars on purpose if you don’t immediately walk into a store. They literally wait and target people to make money. Our car was gone with no ticket, no notice, no explanation, and no paperwork at all. We were forced to pay $280 in cash to get the car back. The tow lot was in an extremely unsafe area, and they told us the exact minute we stepped off the property — which means they were watching us the entire time. This is not normal towing; this is harassment and a trap. This place operates like a mafia-style scam, preying on customers so they can tow and collect money. Avoid this plaza and their towing company at all costs. Do not park here, do not shop here, and do not support a business that mistreats people like this.
I had an awful experience with this towing company. They towed my car just one minute after I left the Plaza at 1010 South Paterson. It seems like they profit off of people who are just about to buy something from the Plaza, taking advantage of the situation. Do yourself a favor and avoid any sort of business with them. When I went to recover my car, I witnessed them towing five different cars in less than seven minutes. Completely unethical. Tuve una pésima experiencia con esta compañía de grúas. Remolcaron mi coche un minuto después de que me fuera de la Plaza en 1010 South Paterson. Parece que se aprovechan de las personas, incluso si estaban a punto de comprar algo en la Plaza. No hagan negocios con ellos bajo ningún concepto. Cuando fui a recuperar mi coche, vi cómo remolcaron cinco coches diferentes en menos de siete minutos. I bought a car from this company back in February of this year. He had an ad of Facebook marketplace. He advertised a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. "In good condition, ready to go." I communicated online and in person, that I am a mom with three small children. I need a reliable car as at that time I was renting a car going through a separation. This man heard of all my troubles and decided to sell me a lemon. 7 months later as I am driving to lunch from work the car stalls on me. Thank GOD my co workers had AAA, they managed to bring it my mechanic who later told me the cars' engine is seized. I've had three different mechanics inform me that if the car stops while driving it is a bad motor. I've been texting and calling this guy with no response. Begging him to do the right thing. I am now moving to take legal actions. As I've spent nearly $1000 in transportation to get to and from work because of this horrible transaction. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY OR USE THEIR SERVICES. I'll see you in court!
I called AAA for a tire repair, and Generation X sent Antonio. He was prompt, and was very helpful and informative when explaining things to me, and did a great job. I will highly recommend Antonio from Generation X Towing

Absolutely terrible. They were sent by AAA. Almost pierced my tired as he tried to get car on flatbed. I had to put the car in neutral for him. Than argued with me for where I wanted my car put when we got to mechanics. No manners and terrible service.

Great Customer Service!!! VALERIE was very helpful knowledgeable and helped me get my car out fast and hassle free. The best receptionist I have ever encountered at a towing company!
Can’t give it a zero star but all you’re doing is wasting your time with these guys. Waited almost 4 hours to have them cancel on me. But the best part is when I call and they just hang up acting like they’re putting me on hold because they don’t have the decency to say sorry we should’ve told you we cancelled. Pathetic.
My sister is a diabetic and was lost in Paterson. She parks her car absolutely frightened from the area and feeling lightheaded because her sugar is low. She is looking for directions and at least a drink from a local store. She parked in the wrong spot. She comes back and the car is towed. She calls the police department and they give her the information about where her car is stationed. She cannot pick it up until tomorrow morning. The guy at city wide towing was rude and hung up. They are closed for the day. Her purse was in the car. She has only $5 cash in her pants. So now she is stranded in Paterson walking home. All because she got off on the highway to stop and get a water or Gatorade. The police department didn’t want to hear it and said there is nothing that they can do. City wide couldn’t care less. They close at 1:30 pm they aren’t a legit 24 hour location. Paterson and city wide towing company work hand in hand to abuse regular everyday folks. All they want is money to fill their pockets without caring about or listening to the persons circumstance.
The dispatcher Valerie was so helpful. I got my car towed unfortunately but she got me out very quickly! Ask for Valerie she’s sweet and a great help!
1991 Cressida got impounded for parking and was towed by this company. Get it from the impound lot and get a surprise. Don't know if it was the lot or the towing company but since I have to deal with this after paying everybody they gonna get this review. Response: thank you for a fast response. Yes the Cressida had previous damage in the rear left and some rust holes in the wheel arches. However this is new damage evident from the lack of rust in the new dent. And since the car was impounded from sitting in the same parking for more than four days it further supports that the car couldn't have had this damage prior leaving it to either transit or storage.
