I was stuck in the middle of an alley in deep snow. Every other towing company I called either said no, charged exorbitant prices, or would take over an hour to get to me. The men that came to help me were helpful, friendly, prompt, and got the job done all for a reasonable price. I will be going to them first for any of my future towing needs and will be sure to recommend them to those in need of towing services from now on.
Absolutely great service! I got the help I needed in just under 30 minutes from calling. Mario and Alex were very polite the entire time and made sure I was home safe before they took off. They wasted no time and got me and my car where we needed to be. The cost was also not outrageous, will be recommending.

While stuck in the roadway, I called several tow companies who were rude and had long waits. Then I called Industrial, they were very friendly, communicative, and came right out. They could not have been more helpful. I thought the price was reasonable as well.

I just had another great experience with this towing company. They helped me get my car from 18th and Union to the South East Side of Chicago. This is the second time I’ve used them and they remain top-notch: professional, well-priced, and super considerate. They even called to confirm the best parking spot and sent photos once everything was done. Really grateful for their service and definitely recommend them if you need a tow!

My vehicle got involved into a collision, but roadside service is offered with my auto insurance. Little did I know that this was not reliable at all as the tow services they called canceled on me twice within a span of 4 hours. They were going to offer a third one, which is when I took matters into my own hands. Roberto promptly answered the call and brought his truck to my location within 30 minutes. The car was loaded and onto his truck within 10-15 minutes and he was able to transport it to my preferred auto collision shop safely and effectively. Stop looking for other options because these guys are the BEST!!! From start to finish, they made the whole process so easy and effortless. My situation was that trans gave out and I was left stranded in middle of street. Not only that but had to be at my sons graduation within 3 hours. Meanwhile I am 45 at the soonest away. They handled everything; told me where to leave key, took description of my car and any other information that may have been of importance and told me to not worry and to go see my son graduate. Stevan reached out to my to let me know he was on his way, he reached out when he got my car, he notified me when he dropped my car at my home. He even went above and beyond to ask if I want my car in the driveway or street. On top of that left it with consideration of surroundings. Not like how others just drop go and pay me. Seriously, knights in shining armor. Did I mention that they also told me that they were able to diagnose what the actual problem was with my transmission? Now I did.
Robert was amazing picking up our disabled company vehicle. Not only did he do great with the police and TSA he was able to drive between 2 airbus aircraft wings without even getting close. Then he navigated the inside airport traffic seamlessly. Christopher D did great as well. Contacted me right away as he dropped off the vehicle and put it right where it needed to go. If the car doesn't have an original catalytic converter then the price they originally told you will change. I personally didn't really care, they came in less than an hr and took my vehicle right out.
I met with the owner who is very pleasant and cordial. He is reliable, timely and honest. His prices are excellent. I will use services again and highly recommend him without hesitation.

Today I had the pleasure of having my U-Haul break down on the highway. What could have been a really scary and difficult situation, turned out to be a fun adventure. I got a call quickly after reporting the incident. The driver said he had another stop to make first, but I let him know I had to use the restroom pretty badly so he said if I was willing to go along for the journey, he could grab me first. He picked me up and let me climb through the driver side door so I didn’t have to try to enter through the side of traffic. He made a pit stop so I could use the restroom. We became fast friends. I still even made it on time to my previous obligation. I highly recommend using his company if you are ever in a bind. He found a way to make a really big inconvenience to feel a little lighter.

I just wanted to share my experience with this company. I can tell they're very family-oriented type of business that cares about what they do. They have helped me on multiple occasions and one time it was such a simple issue they didn't even charge me. Highly recommended. So if you're looking for a trustworthy towing business and you're scared of the shady towing companies that will charge you hundreds of dollars and then I highly recommend you save their phone number in your phone because you will never have to contact another towing company again. You might not even need a tow, you might just need a jump and they can help with that too. After “roadside assistance” sent literally 8 different low-budget tow companies to try and take my car out of an underground parking garage, none of whom had the proper equipment, the dealership’s sales manager reached out directly to XL Towing. They showed up promptly with the correct equipment. Eddie was efficient, professional and courteous. He had the car loaded and on it’s way for service in minutes. I've used XL at my job for several years and have always appreciated their service. The Owner, dispatchers and the drivers are gems. I know they'll be professional and they always come through. But when the worst happens, I wouldn't think of another company to contact. My Mom was in a major car accident that sent she and 4 other people from the scene in an ambulance. I contacted XL, stressed out, and per usual they eased my concerns, and hauled and stored her vehicle for the insurance company. The Best!! Mom's car was totaled but she was fine... Wear your seatbelts!! Please!!

Which was why my experience with XL Towing was so extraordinary, from dispatch to drop off things could not have gone better. We contacted XL Towing to tow our car. Juan, was prompt, professional and courteous. He arrived an hour after we called in. Our car was towed to the destination and photos were sent of the location and time. Highly recommend Juan and have saved contact information to refer to friends.
Our car was towed about two weeks ago on the day we moved into our new apartment. We were parked in the correct spot, with the vehicle listed on the lease, but hadn’t put the parking sticker on the windshield yet. We had paused to eat lunch and were towed within the hour. Apparently, the towing company doesn't check license plates—they just tow any car without a visible sticker. While I think that’s a poor policy, it’s not the reason for my one-star review. The real issue was the experience of retrieving my car. The woman at the desk (I believe her name is Sheila, based on other reviews) was extremely rude and hostile. She mocked me for not reading my lease carefully and for not putting the sticker up in time. When I calmly asked whether they check license plates before towing, she raised her voice and became aggressive. I asked if I could just pay and leave. When she told me the total was $240, I responded with “Awesome." She became even more upset, accusing me of being sarcastic and began yelling again. I handed over my card to pay, and she started yelling once more—this time accusing me of planning to dispute the charge, something I had never said or even considered. I told her I had no intention of doing that, but she kept shouting. I asked her to stop, but she didn’t, so I left the room while another employee completed the transaction. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

THANK YOU to the dispatcher for helping me get this done, THANK YOU to XL TOWING for doing the hard work that not everyone is willing to do in order to help people like me out. Got a flat tire super late last night and didn’t have a spare tire. Shout out to the dispatcher Lou and the driver Jeff. Driver arrived within 15 minutes and was so helpful. Drove me and my car all the way back to my house at 1am which was incredibly kind. 5 stars!!!
A real plus is that a real person who is very knowledgeable and helpful answered the phone. She knew exactly which trucks and personnel were available and gave me an almost exact time (20 minutes) when they get to me. A professional and efficient service person arrived right on time and had me on my way in 10 minutes. I have to agree with most of the reviews here that speak about this place and it’s lack luster customer service. I have visited them thrice, and three strikes they’re OUT! I drive for a living, so needless to say, I frequently have to repair and replace my tires. That being said, the first time that I visited them was one evening at around 9 pm, at that time I had a tire repaired. The second time that I did business with them, it was approximately 2 am and again I needed my tire repaired. I was told that a patch would be $15 while a plug would be $25 🤔🤔🤔. I opted for the patch work. Of course I understand that they have after hours prices but $25???? I naturally gave off a response of disappointment but had little time to sulk as I was advised that the man who does the work was about to go home so if I wanted it I had to make a choice right then and there (which is odd because if he leaves, then technically you wouldn’t have ANYONE there to provide this “24 hour service “ right? Moving along). I then asked, well how much to put on my donut....I was advised $15. WOW!!! LAST VISIT was this morning at 4 am. I have a slow leak and wanted to hurry up and get my tire fixed so that I could continue working...THIS TIME (before even diagnosing the tires damage) I was automatically told that it would be $25. I didn’t say anything. I politely started my engine and pulled smooth out! The BIG moral of the story is; I PEEP YOUR GAME, 😘 nice try. WRONG PLAYER THOUGH
My gf had a flat tire and we were stranded on the side of the road downtown. We looked around and this place was open at 11 at night. They told us the price up front and we agreed to it. They came immediately, towed the car to their garage, and had a spare tire that we were able to purchase that fit her car. Everyone there was super professional and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. 5 stars and I couldn't recommend enough if you're in need of towing services.

My 1500 Express Cargo van died on the side of 90/94 in the middle of the day on a Monday. I called Dark Angel and they promised that they would send over a tow truck. Several minutes later, Hector called me to let me know that he was on route to pick me and my vehicle up. When he arrived, he was very professional and friendly. Hector was quickly able to hook up and pick up my van and we headed back to the suburbs. When we arrived to our destination he was able to park my van in the back yard per my request, which can be a pretty tight spot as the driveway is a bit narrow, but the professional that Hector is, he did it with ease while being careful. Cannot recommend Hector enough. Would definitely not hesitate to give Dark Angel a call if I need towing services around Chicagoland area again, especially Hector. Thanks Hector!

Caldwell Towing did a good job installing both Front Wheel Hubs, along with a Power Steering Line, on my 2007, Lincoln MKX, for a reasonable price of $315. Caldwell Towing is fair and honest when it comes to price for the cost of labor. I went to Caldwell Towing because Midas on 72nd and Stoney Island, tried to charge me $600 for the Wheel Hubs alone. Caldwell Towing and automotive has my Lincoln riding nice, smooth, & quiet, like It was when I first purchased it. I definitely plan to check out Caldwell Towing for my future repairs, and upgrades.

Let me tell you all about contract towing. Lol. My car was illegally towed yesterday, confirmed by my property manager and the tow company ( I recorded ) they stated themselves that they had no contract with my property management. They illegally towed my car, proceeded to hang up on me several times for the next few hours. They finally spoke to the “manager” and stated they were doing me a courtesy release lol. There’s no such thing, if they tow your car, you have to pay to release. I asked for documentation of the release for my car and they told me I’d have to pay 240 LOL! I called the police, made a report with both Berwyn and Chicago. Then when I got the car, they stole my firearm, cannabis and shoes out of my car. When I asked them about it, they said “you have to figure it out”. LOL. So I did :) they have since removed the sign for parking , so were they ever authorized? Just out here towing cars

After another tow company left me stranded in downtown Chicago, I found this company. I had no idea of where I was at, or where to get vehicle repaired. Synergy towing was very responsive to my situation, they immediately dispatched an after hours wrecker for me. They kept me posted on when the driver would arrive. Driver was very helpful, assisted me in answering all the questions I had and was about to get me back on the road after some minor repairs the next day. Fantastic group of men and women to talk with and work with. Very friendly and also did their best to keep me updated on the work being done to the vehicle. Will definitely use again if I ever break down in the Chicago land area again

I call this Tow Service 24 hours in advance and spoke with louis. He gave me a number to text the address where my vehicle was and where it was going to he quoted me a price of almost $200 and told me that he can only take zelle or cash app I explained I only have Visa or a debit he said no problem that he can process it over the phone on the next day he told me that his driver will contact me an hour before pick up to confirm and he will take the payment then there was no answer the next morning and no show so I guess if I would have cash app him or zelle him I would have been out of 200 bucks I believe this company is fraud do not trust them
Although we were able to negotiate a relatively fair settlement for my insurance company to acquire my truck from this 'vulture' tow company, in the beginning my insurance company was told to pay an exhorbant cost to release my truck. I call this company 'vulture' because they stayed at the accident site as the police advised me not to use them. They knew the policeman's advice and stayed anyway, like a vulture. They spoke with my insurance company, at the accident site, and still insisted on an unreasonable release fee. But to give some credit when I was ready to give up on trying to get my truck that encouraged the vulture to negotiate on a conference call between my insurance company and I to find a high but more reasonable price that my insurance company agreed to pay. Be warned not to accept the service of accident vultures as they have been the subject of various television news stories warning of their unscrupulous practices. Be patient and only work with your insurance company at the accident site. I didn't know but YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Bad service. Bad to truck driver, couldn't speak English so didn't help at all. Didn't know how to angle the truck to drop the car where was needed, so he dropped it in the alley and had us help him push it in the spot. I do not recommend at all.
Professional, reasonable & swift! Got a quote from the dealer that was unreasonable. Stopped by here got it done for a fraction of the cost! I found myself a new mechanic.

For the past two days we have been trying to reach the company and receive a copy of an invoice for which we paid cash. We picked up a trailer back in June and apparently misplaced the receipt by our driver. Since this was an insurance purchase they are requesting the receipt well the company doesn't want to provide us nor the insurance with a copy. The gentleman that was on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. HE WASN'T GOING TO DO MY JOB. He claimed that they are very busy and was yelling at me. I asked him few times for his name and he refused to give it to me so I told him I would leave a review which I hope will help people in the future. We paid the company what was owed and no matter what there is no reason to block us or be rude when we are in need of a copy. We are a customer and attitude and professionalism go a long way.

I gave an address to the towing driver to tow my vehicle to the given address but he rather sent to their yard. I called several times no one answered. Later they told me to give their contact information to my insurance before my car will be allow to tow from their yard. They just lie to me.

Customer service is an art. You are forced to interact with humans who have different experiences than your own and treat them with respect. My husbands car was stolen two days ago from in front of our home in the middle of the night. Luckily it was located and towed to this location. I called to get some general information and was told what to bring to prove ownership. Upon arrival, the lady at the window (same woman I spoke too) had such an attitude with the questions that were being asked. Not everyone who has had their car towed did something wrong. Sometimes a wrong was done to them and they are trying to navigate the situation as best as possible. So my husbands registration was in the glove box and the car was parked somewhere offsite, but DL and insurance were provided. Luckily he had something else on hand. My frustration come in when asked to see the car before paying to have it released. If it was not in any condition to move it why pay? We got a long winded response that was not helpful. If you work at a job and do the same thing everyday DO NOT get an attitude when someone experiences the same thing for the first time. We did get some answers from a very patient tow truck drive Mark.
Either Chase or Staples (possibly both), running a classic “patrolling”towing scheme. This scheme usually involves a spotter, could be the tow truck driver him/herself or a paid third-person, catching any drivers who did not enter both establishments and then towing them within minutes. And it is a pretty clear scheme considering my car was towed within 2 minutes of me leaving (does not matter even if you shopped in Staples or Chase). It is illegal? Possibly. Under Illinois Vehicle Code 625 ILCS 5/4-203, commercial towing companies need to fill out proper paperwork and notify law enforcement of a tow within 30 minutes of the towing. However, more digging needs to be done on how this scheme is been implemented and if there are any kickbacks involved between the establishments and Rokaitis Industries (the employed commercial towing company). Regardless, all of this process is somewhat hard to accomplish within minutes, so I doubt Rokaitis Industries follows the strict legal procedures prescribed by the state law. That begs the second question, is it unethical? Without a doubt in my humble opinion. There is many ways a private business can prevent cars parked illegally by taking correct measures before issuing the tow. “Patrolling” towing also preys upon financially vulnerable individuals as people without power tend to be more reserved when it comes to confrontational issues with authorities and legalities. Towing any parked car should be the last resort for any establishments and something to be done if the car has been unaccounted for for a long duration of time. Sadly, the state of Illinois continues to have weak legislative laws against bandit towing (unlike California that requires a car to be towed off a private property after an hour or longer stay). Additionally, there is insufficient signage within the parking lot that warns drivers of a possible toll as the only few signs that are available are all minuscule and shoved away in the corners of the parking lot. Nonetheless, I hardly believe there is no kickbacks involved for Staples or Chase since no companies would risk regular and speedy towing without a clear monetary incentive to do so. Looking back at all of the negative comments, it seems like this scheme has been going on for a minimum of four years. While it is difficult to pinpoint the legality of this issue, since it is a private lot and the Illinois’ overall bureaucratic incompetence, victims should no doubt contact the towing company at first (don’t get your hopes up, expect typical scammer attitude) and file complaints accordingly to the ICC and your local alderman. More importantly, avoid the Chase & Staples parking lot and the businesses at all times since there are also many victims who had their car towed despite showing evidence of themselves conducting business within the proper establishments. Better not to use that location and avoid the hassle if you can.

Similar experience to many others who left 1 star reviews here. Got towed minutes after parking in the Chase/Staples parking lot and encountered the rudest woman working at the window. This employee was rude from the start and cursed at me. They should hire an employee with basic manners. The receipt says police were notified about this towing but when I called the police station, police confirmed nothing was reported. Lying, scamming, and illegal activities for sure

I can't say I love them, but I did park in the wrong parking lot, so it's my fault I got towed. I called them, confirmed they had my car, then went and picked it up. All in all the paperwork took about 10 minutes, no nonsense, no drama.
i resided in that complex for 3 yrs, my car got into bad accident, took it back from body shop, processing the new tag bcos the windshield was changed. came downtails my car is gone and i was forced to pay over 200$ plus 45$ Uber before i could recover my car. Thieves, crooks, extortionists, whatever. This business is built on taking people's cars hostage on a devious premise, then demanding ransom aka "fees" to get it back. It's a classic business model. For example....I parked my car in the lot of a closed business at 8am on a Sunday. The business was not open, and the parking lot was - no surprise - empty. I was in a rush because my next stop was to buy medicine for my 15 month old daughter so I quickly decided that I'd park "illegally". Went in to get coffee next door and returned about 5 minutes later. Car was gone. Now....did they have the right to tow my car? Yes. Does parking a car in the lot of a closed business on a Sunday morning warrant getting towed? And paying a bogus $196.00 (plus their bogus $2.50 "invoice fee")? No. Was their driver hanging out and waiting for me to come along so he could tow my car? I think so. There was not enough time for this to happen otherwise. NOW, there is something that these jerks do that is technically wrong. They wrote that my car had "nicks, dents and scratches all around" on a form that allows them to abuse your detained car without any consequence. This is completely fabricated and I will be filing a compliant with the Illinois Commerce Commission. Hopefully they are fined at last as much money as they lifted from me. Jerks, thieves, extortionists. This is a shameful business.
Everybody go to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint or scam review to get this place shut down. Something has to happen to this business and their employees for all the wrong they have done to so many people.
Liars and Scam Artists. They towed my car while I was legally parked in a Walgreen's parking lot for no more than 3 minutes. I was told by a Walgreen's worker that Lincoln Towing does this on Fridays because it's payday, so people have money to pay to get their car back. I filed a complaint with the Chicago Police Department and nothing came from it. Recently, I read a news article that said Lincoln Towing is being sued. That made me very happy because what Lincoln Towing does is straight up robbery.
