On Christmas Eve night, my car slid through a neighborhood intersection onto a curb and snowbank. The tire went flat and the car was stuck. I tried accessing roadside assistance through AAA and my insurance company. I waited for 14+ hours, and still no service arranged through my roadside assistance. I called Jim and Ron's Towing on Christmas day. Paul answered the call, took my info and was very polite. The driver Ben was there in about an hour. He was so nice and helpful. He tried to get the car in working order, but the tire wouldn't hold air so he towed it to my preferred shop. He was so careful with my car. He did not try to price gouge me at all. The service cost was extremely reasonable for having to deal with this situation on a cold, snowy, icy holiday. Jim and Ron's will be my go-to in the future for all my towing, tire, lockout needs!
I locked my keys in my car the other night on the east side of town which is not a very nice side of town to be out alone in. Call Jim and Ron's they quoted me $215 plus tax I said never mind I would find somebody cheaper and thank him for his time. Found somebody to come out and do it for $80 and just as I was finishing up Jim and runs called me back said he found somebody who would do it for $100 less I said no I already have it taken care of he was very persistent and did not want to take no for an answer I finally just had to hang up on him.. I feel like he was really trying to take advantage of the situation and he made me very very uncomfortable. I would not recommend these guys if it's late at night and you're out alone somewhere.
We blew a tire on our 5th wheel and called them. They said about 30 minutes and they were there and had it changed quickly. Very nice people.
Thanks to Jim & Rons... They got to me quickly. Their prices are great, but now I unfortunately get to pump more and more money into keeping my truck running until I'm poor. FML.... hehe.
Well last year when I bought my Dodge Challenger from Vern Eidie Acura and drove it too Worthington, MN went out on the road as a truck driver came back and had problems with it. I live in Sioux Falls, SD I asked them here to help me bring my car home they refused. They said find someone at Worthington to bring it too Sioux Falls. Well Sioux Falls is a little bit bigger city than Worthington and I had a difficult time getting my car to Sioux Falls. When I needed them they weren't there for me... enough said...

From the time we contacted them, we were back on the road in about 15 minutes. Quick response time and replaced the trailer tire quickly. Friendly drivers and staff.
My car's transmission died on me and Chris not only was fast to the destination (about an hour away) he stayed with me until my ride was almost there and then even called me to make sure I was picked up safely. Chris was super helpful, friendly, and patient. I wouldn't want to rely on any other towing company.
This company is a scam, plain and simple. Platinum Towing towed my car over a parking ticket while I was out of the country on my honeymoon, and they outright refused to release it to anyone but the registered owner — even though multiple other towing companies confirmed that a signed authorization and ID would’ve been perfectly acceptable. Platinum chose to make things as difficult as possible. When I had a different towing company call to try to retrieve the vehicle on my behalf, they threatened to increase the fees if one more person called them. That’s right — they literally said they’d jack up the price just because we were trying to find a way to comply with their ridiculous demands. It’s obvious they were exploiting the situation to make more money, knowing I was out of the country and desperate. Their customer service is aggressive, rude, and completely unethical. This company doesn’t just lack basic professionalism — they prey on people in vulnerable situations. If you can avoid them, do. They shouldn’t be in business.

My truck stalled in this crazy South Dakota winter weather and I wasn't able to get it moved due to towing companies being so busy. These guys not only towed it but also got it running in no time. Chris and his team Rocks! Highly recommended for anyone who is done with all of the other rude companies out there who seemed like I bothered them with needing a tow. My insurance provider called A-Plus towing to help my son stranded on the interstate during a snow storm. This guy was so awesome, he put my mind and my son's mind at easy very quickly. He was fast, friendly, and very helpful. I see why they call themselves A-Plus.

Like an idiot, I ran myself out of fuel on the way to the gas station. A Plus Towing was dispatched via my roadside assistance. I walked to get a gas can at a near by gas station and was caught in a torrential downpour. Austin picked me up at the gas station, drove me back to my Jeep, and provided me with a couple gallons of gasoline so I could get back on my way. He was respectful, prompt, and just a nice guy. He wished me a better rest of my day and hoped I got where I was going safely. Thank you to A Plus Towing for helping to fix my own screw up and to Austin for doing his job with professionalism and kindness.

Our RV rental had broken down and even though the first tower was very nice, his truck wasn’t large enough to tow our vehicle. The owner, Randy immediately helped us and Nick was out to tow the RV extremely fast. Not only is Ace Towing efficient, but they had great recommendations for the area to make our spoiled trip still fun.
The Company (Bibbs Inc) I worked for back in the mid to late 2000's used this company for all towing services. Was broke down 100~120 +/- miles East of Portland with a blown engine valve on my way to get reloaded. They had a truck out there quick enough on a hook, Dale was the Driver and probably still is the man! He got the tractor out there to me, I got reloaded and was back in Sioux Falls without much more than a days lost time. IF you want it hauled or brought back from ANYWHERE NATIONWIDE this is the company to call in and around the SouthEastern part of South Dakota, Southwestern Minnesota, Northwest Iowa and Northeast Nebraska. They have the trucks, rigging, etc for any type of hauling, wrecks. They use Air Bag recovery methods to save loads from a potential total loss if trailer is laid over on it's side. I use to work in the Class 8 truck repair industry back in the 90's prior to driving truck and they always delivered, towed and even came and lifted trucks off low boy trailers for wreck repair. They definitely have the fleet of trucks to keep things moving smoothly.

Really gotta post up outside an apartment building at 10 pm, making alot of noise to tow a car? Come on guys do better.
They tow vehicles to where they need to be. drop them and don’t park them anywhere for someone else to come around a corner and hit it.
Look, I get it — towing cars is how you make your money. That’s the business. People park where they shouldn’t, and you haul them off. Fine. No one likes it, but it’s your job, and I don’t fault you for doing it. What I do fault you for is being deceptive about what’s actually required to pick up a vehicle. When my car was towed from an apartment complex, we called to arrange pickup and were told we needed to bring proof of registration, proof of insurance, and a driver’s license. Sounds reasonable until you realize that’s not what South Dakota law requires — and it’s flat-out misleading. Under South Dakota Codified Law 32-30-18.1, the only legal requirement to release a vehicle is that the owner provides proof of ownership and identification and pays the towing and storage fees. That’s it. There is no state law requiring a person to show insurance to a private tow company, and registration papers are legally required to be kept in the car itself, which you’re holding behind a locked fence. Requiring documents that are inside the car before someone can retrieve the car is not only unreasonable — it’s absurd. Demanding proof of insurance is especially ridiculous. You are not the DMV or law enforcement. Insurance verification is the job of police officers and the state — not a private towing business. Trying to act like it’s a legal requirement to get the car back is dishonest and wastes people’s time. If you had simply said, “We need ID and something showing you’re the owner,” that would have been fine. Instead, you made it sound like we’d be turned away without insurance documents and a registration that you were literally keeping locked in the impound lot. So, yeah — three stars. Because I understand you’re running a business, and towing is how you earn your money. But don’t lie to people about what the law requires. Do your job, make your money, but don’t pretend you’re law enforcement while you do it.

I forgot the name of the gentleman who helped me but he was very friendly, nice and helpful. Would recommend to anyone in the area!! Thank you Stockton!

I had vehicle troubles while driving while traveling through South Dalota. I ended up calling All American Towing after several other companies wouldn't answer their phones. They transported me and my vehicle to a local shop in no time. Very professional and great customer service. Highly recommended.
This is the best towing services I have used. They were really nice and professional. I highly recommend them.
Got in a minor accident with my partner. All they had to do was tow us out of the highway median as our car had no damage. We were a 10 minute drive away from their shop. How much did they charge us? $400! Do everything in your power to stay away from these guys. These guys are predatory and charge as much as they think they can get away with for simple services. Disgusting to prey on vulnerable people, especially after an accident when you're all shaken up. Makes me sick.
absolutely terrible. this towing company hasn’t been able to return my car from being towed after ungodly hours of the night. im making a complaint because i should be able to pick my car up whenever i want. on the website it says 24hrs open however when i made the attempt to pick up my vehicle they proceeded to tell me that they were closed until monday however there is still a $51 dollar holding fee for each day

They were exactly the type of people I wanted to work with when my tire blew out at 6:30AM on the way to work. The person on the phone answered all my questions and quickly took my information. The serviceman who changed my tire got there in a reasonable time, had a great attitude, and took care of everything quickly. They made it a painless and calm affair which helps when you're panicking about work.
Absolutely insane prices and goes right along with other reviews, they’ll take advantage of you in your time of need. I’ve used other tow companies in town and they are by far the most expensive by 200%. Will never use them again.
Our son’s card broke down in a parking lot last week during the blizzard and bitter temps. I called several tow companies over the weekend and Eastgate was the only one that answered the phone. I knew all were extremely busy, but they said they could get it done in 24-48 hrs. I was pleasantly surprised when it was at our mechanic’s shop first thing the next morning. My son had his car back on the road that night. I would use them again for sure.
Very satisfied with Eastgate Towing. They were very prompt in coming to my vehicle after my call. The driver even checked my battery to see if it was a quick minor fix I might be able to do myself before loading it up and bringing it to the mechanic. I appreciate that you were able to go the extra mile and do that simple check for me--someone who knows little about cars. Thank you!
Keith is the rudest employee ever, trying to act like the owner. He wont take accountability and is a very shady crooked tow yard. Don’t recommend. They scratched and caused damage on our new Tahoe.

Horrible customer service. -5 stars if that was possible. Can't be bother to post their correct hours and front office lady unprofessionally and rudely informed that " it only takes a phone call" because any normal person would call a business that clearly has their business hours posted and shows them closed. Then while still trying to discuss the issue with her even more unprofessionally says " oh its 5 o'clock now that's another $50" then actually walks away from the counter. If you have a choice I recommend that you never use this business for anything and hopefully never encounter this woman.
They were quick and professional. The driver was a nice young man who was concerned about our safety as we had our little boys with us. He called another driver to give us a ride who was also quite polite and kind. While I hope never to need a tow again if I do I will be calling this company and I hope one of these two gentlemen are the ones who respond. If at all possible we would like to send them a gifs thanks. They didn't just do their jobs, they showed concern and compassion above standard customer service expectations. I am very grateful such people exist
Just picked up the stolen vehicle that was towed in there. The service was good about updates and ultimately just taking the initiative to get in touch about the vehicle being located and where to go and how to go about the process regarding our property. Thanks Redi Towing for the extra mile of hunting us down with all that you all already had going on with like 4 or 5 other stolen cars that day you all had to get inventoried out besides mine. Appreciable in services rendered at least to me and mines 😊

They where contracted to pick up my totaled vehicle by my insurance company and their dispatcher told me that they would be at location at 8am for pickup and didn't call me until after 8am to confirm pickup. Took them almost 2.5 hours to get on location and it is only about a 1.5 hour drive. Tow operator was rude and the person that called was rude also. I would never use this outfit even if they where the only tow available.
My car automatically locked itself this morning while the car was running and when lightning towing showed up they were extremely fast about getting my doors unlocked. The guy who unlocked my door was extremely nice and polite which i appreciated so much!! Thank you for coming to the rescue lightning towing!
Locked my keys inside my car this morning, the AAA person said it would take an hour. This awesome guy got there in a lil under half that time, was nice and personable, and had my car open in no time. A+ service, would recommend if you like to forget your keys constantly like I do.
Rude staff, will gladly tow your car 24 hours a day but to pick up your vehicle they are only open Monday through Friday 8-5 ( same times most people work) so if you need to pick up your car you have to take time off to get it or it sits for $25 a day. Which is very inconvenient for working people, guess this is how they gouge people out of Money. They are not lient at all about waiting a few minutes after 5 for someone to get there.
My roadside assistance hired them for me, and the driver Chris was so friendly when I called in to confirm and was very friendly in person. I had to change my location and he took care of it with my roadside company. Will use again if need be for sure.
