This guy is professional. My tire popped and AAA was absolutely no help on a Saturday afternoon. They said they’d barely be able to get to me (in the center of Raleigh mind you) and if they could, the car would have to sit in a lot till they could replace the tire on Monday. Meanwhile, I called Nick and he came to the rescue and was on the way immediately and got me to the nearest discount tire just before they closed (with time to spare tbh) so moral of the story is, call Nick, he’s a great guy
I recently had the pleasure of using Nick's Towing & Roadside Assistance LLC to tow a boat with a trailer that had a busted axle. I couldn't be happier with the service provided. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Nick at Nick’s Towing! When my Tesla’s right front tire blew out, I was understandably stressed, especially since I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find low-profile tires. Nick came to the rescue super fast—within about an hour! He was cheerful, informative, and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. He even suggested that I call around to check for tire availability before deciding on a tow location, which was incredibly helpful. During the ride to the tire shop, Nick was great to chat with, making me feel at ease despite my tire dilemma. His friendly demeanor truly made a difference! I was driving with my elderly parents and 3 small children to meet my husband in Carolina Beach. My Suburban broke down on the side of Hwy 40 in the middle of nowhere. I called Nick and he was there in 30 mins. He helped getting my elderly mother into the truck, helped with the kids, and reassured me that everything was good and made sure I was ok. He offered to take us 55miles to Wilmington to the dealership so off we went. I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism of Nick. He made a very stressful and overwhelming situation seem a little easier. I hope we never need to call a tow truck again, but if we are in the area and need one, I will be giving Nick a call. Morlando Crane delivered our pool today. Their rep met with us prior to delivery to go over details. He was clear about the process, and attentive to our questions. The crane arrived on time. The driver worked with the pool installation crew as a team, and together they had the pool off the flatbed, over our house, and installed in about 45 minutes. The crane driver took extra care to avoid any damage to our driveway and our lawn. From beginning to end, Morlando Crane was professional and customer-oriented. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received last week with Safe Towing. I had a flat and they were able to coordinate with my mother to get me safely towed for a tire repair at Firestone. I ended up getting new tires and was able to continue on with the rest of my day afternoon or so. I appreciate the quick response and the ability to pay after the service vs. paying prior. That was helpful for both my mother and I. If you have emergency towing needs, I would give them a call. Customer service was also top-notch even though I had a bit of an attitude with the car stuff.

They towed our car here, but they won't show it. They wouldn't let me take my car because it was Saturday. I had my wallet in the car, they wouldn't let me take it, then he talked to his boss and they only wanted 40 dollars to take my wallet from the car.

Amazing. These guys have heart, good prices, and decades of experience. They transported my vintage Piaggio Ape micro food truck, that pretty much means the world to me. Same exact problem as the other 1 star reviews. Incredibly long wait time (over 3 hours total), horrible communication (I had to call several times just to figure out where they were or what was going on), and in the end the "owner" came out and told me that he could either tear my front end off or cancel the service. Crazy that my insurance went through a company like this. Also crazy that the "owner" couldn't perform a simple job (pulling my car out of a muddy puddle) that one of his drivers said HE could have done if he was driving that truck. Can't fathom how this company has such high ratings.
It’s been three hours and the driver is not here. They have not set up voicemail and won’t answer phone or texts. I also got a text saying they have arrived. They have NOT. This uniquely bad service.

I needed a tow this morning booked through my moter club ETA was hour plus. Christopher actually arrived within 30 minutes had my car hooked up in no time and on the way to my destination. He arrived well before eta and quickly got me off the side of the road. Great customer service.

This towing company has been recommended for years by the repair shop I use. I used them for the second time Saturday night at about 8:30PM when my Sienna minivan would not start at a gas station. The driver told me he was finishing up a wreck and gave me an estimate of when he would show up. He showed up at exactly that time. He tried several things to get the car started, including jumping it and tapping the starter motor before he loaded it onto his truck to take it the repair shop I use. It was in the 20s, but he took his time and was very careful as he loaded it onto his truck and made sure it was securely anchored to the truck. I would definitely use them again.
I called Bobby's Towing around 9pm, needing to get my car to the shop before the snow arrived. Chris was at my house before 10pm to help. He was kind, helpful, and made it very clear that the ball was in my court for any decisions. I appreciate his promptness, expertise, friendliness, and help. I hope I never have to have my car towed again, but if I do, it'll be with Bobby's Towing!

If I could give infinite amount of stars, I would. I was driving home to Tennessee after spending the night in North Carolina to pick up a birthday cake- I know, I know, WHY? Anyway! I was seven hours away from home, on I40, and all of a sudden my car would not speed up. It felt like if you had your car in neutral and stepped on the gas, I was in the left lane too. I was PANICKED. I called my dad, who was 7 hours away in Tennessee, crying and shaking and not knowing what to do. I wound up searching online for a towing company, tried the first company listed- I don't even remember the name, called them twice and no answer. Now they could have been on a call or something, not blaming them- if anything I am glad they didn't answer. I called the next one on the list, Further Towing & Recovery. Travis answered and he was awesome. I felt so bad, I had no idea where I was, there weren't really any signs or landmarks for me to describe. I felt worse because I was on the verge of crying with each sentence I spoke to him. He remained calm and didn't get frustrated with me- and if he did, he did not let it show. Talked me through it and was able to get an idea of where I was. Had me send my location so he could be sure and was on his way. He kept me updated on his status. When he got there he was very nice, could see I had been crying, my friend was trying to console me- Happy 25th birthday right, haha! Anyway, he asked where I needed the car towed to and I said a mechanic, he offered Further Towing & Recovery's services and a ride back with him. We accepted and he tried to keep us talking, two scared 25 year-olds in a different state, keep us calm and not panicking. I think I told him "thank you" and "I'm sorry" over a hundred times. When we got to the office, he even looked up a hotel near by just in case my car wouldn't be fixed that day, but he also said he would try to get a rush on it for me. After he brought my car to the garage, he came back not too long after and let me know he was able to convince their mechanic- I AM SO SORRY I DO NOT RECALL HIS NAME- to rush it for me, and that it now depended on finding the part. A little bit later, I got a call from the mechanic himself, telling me what was wrong, my secondary catalytic converter was clogged, and that he found the part, but it would be in the next day. I was relieved but also discouraged at the thought of not getting home that night. But he was as amazing as Travis, found a part he could get in that day and it would be in around 4. I could CRY- something I was very accustomed to that day. My friend and I went back inside since we had stepped outside to make calls and get some air, and we asked Travis if we could leave our stuff in the office while we found a way to kill time, he even told us some things that we could do in the area. We thanked him profusely again, and went to order an uber to take us into the town. We wound up meeting pretty much everyone who worked there, and EVERYONE was so kind and despite me probably being an annoying, crying, nonstop thanking customer, they all smiled and reassured me it was okay. They got my car fixed before I thought they would, and honestly, the price was a LOT less than I thought it would be. I was so scared I was gonna be stranded and without a way to pay them or have to take out a loan. But they were all amazing, even told me what to look out for and gave me the suggestion of replacing the main part of my catalytic converter as well, but assured me I would make it home. On my way home, they even messaged me to make sure my friend and I were good and that they car was still running good. Who does that!? It had been hours since I left and they checked in on a random customer who probably had the same story of being stranded in a different state on the interstate as so many others they had come across. Their customer service was phenomenal- I know this not only from a customer standpoint, but I work in customer service and they went above and beyond for my friend and I to be able to get home. Infinite/10
I highly recommend Further Towing & Recovery. Despite clearly explaining the dangerous situation I was in--stranded in the rain in the middle of a busy, dark three-lane highway--my roadside assistance still had not arrived after waiting for well over an hour. Instead, a phone call to Further Towing & Recovery and in less than 15 minutes my car was being towed to a garage. A big thank you to Travis for his professionalism and kindness; he made everything simple and easy for me.

Chris helped to tow my car when I had a flat. He had great communication, was prompt and arrived fast, and very professional/friendly and handled my car with care. Thank you
Called for a tow and was originally told the wait was going to be 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, I called multiple times and the call went straight to voicemail. When I did finally get a hold of somebody they told me it was gonna take another 20 minutes so another 20 minutes went by and absolute radio silence. Thankfully, some good Samaritans on the side of the road took the time out of their day to come help me but if you’re in a bind, do not count on this place for towing because they take forever. When I originally put in my request, they told me that I was going to get a tow truck at 10:26. When I checked the service time before I gave up and let the good Samaritans help me, the service time was pushed back to 12:46. I was in the middle of the road blocking traffic and was in danger. I pay for a AAA membership. As a contractor of AAA, AAA pays you to do a service for its customers, the fact that you cannot follow through means that maybe you shouldn’t be a contractor with AAA. I was lied to and ignored when I was in a very desperate situation. Again, do not rely on this place.
I didn’t want it to go without expressing my appreciation for receiving service via your company. I have AAA and usually get roadside assistance from their drivers, on Friday, 9/1, I was given a stellar service from Joshua from your office (with my Subaru Outback - 2 flat tires driving on a spare). He was very kind, humorous, informative and knowledgeable about repairing flats, securing vehicles on the flatbed and a wealth of other maintenance subject matter. I didn’t want to go too expensive, but much more economical, which he immediately thought of options that I could choose from. We made our way to the location and while I was speaking to the attendant in a blink of the eye, he had taken the car down. It was so swift and efficient that I never got the chance to formally thank him. If possible I would like to have the opportunity to treat him to a coffee or lunch. I would greatly appreciate it. Tim was awesome! He was a great help in a stressful situation. He helped me find and towed my vehicle, also allowed me to ride along, to a respectable tire shop. As a female I felt comfortable in his presence and he made sure I was alright at the shop before leaving. Highly recommended and completely professional.
I can not say thank you enough to the entire staff at Little John's Towing! George was amazing when he showed up to my daughters car after her accident. He made sure everyone was OK and went above and beyond to help us find a phone that had been lost during the accident. He explained where the car would be and how to get things out. Rae was amazing the next day when we showed up to get some things out of the car. Even John the owner himself stepped in to to talk us through next steps and assist us. I was stranded on the side of the road for 1.5 hours waiting on AAA to work out finding a tow truck for me. I was exhausted from waiting and called Oscar and he was there in 10 minutes. He got my car out of there and to the dealership swiftly and sent me a picture text to let me know everything was worked out. Super fast and smooth experience and I wish I called had him first lol.
Without a doubt the most reliable tow you can find in North Raleigh; as I'm sure we all know... when you're looking for a tow, you're most likely not having your best day... Oscar is prompt, timely, trustworthy and professional with ALL the jobs he has helped me out with. The best part is that from all the places I inquired for pricing in the area, his service was priced the best in the area by a long shot (5 stars on that alone!). Don't think twice about your towing needs, when it comes to a tow in Raleigh you can certainly count on Oscar.
Oscar is great. We used him twice in the past couple days. He not only brought the car down a steep driveway like a boss but the second time he went to the trouble to drop the keys in my mechanics after hour drop box so I didn’t have to go down there after a 12 hour work day. There aren't enough stars to express our gratitude to Oscar. My husband had a surgery at Duke Hospital. I was supposed to drive us home, but I injured my back and couldn't drive. Lori (sp?) was very helpful in providing a quote and offering assistance. Although they didn't have a driver available at the time I needed one for a tow Lori did not stop and even called me back when one was available but we were no longer in need. Customer service speaks VOLUMES when you're in need and Lori with Raleigh Towing provided excellent customer service with care and compassion.
I strongly advise against using this towing service. They provided false information about the estimated arrival time, and when I called to follow up, the representative was extremely rude and ended the call abruptly. Rather than addressing the issue, I was told to find another company. I also spoke with the owner, who told me not to call again. At Triangle Town Center, 8:20pm I was picking up a takeout order. My order was large and I asked the restaurant if I could park outside their front entrance to load up as I have one arm and the trip would've been atleast 2 back and forths (Plus they were closing so I was trying to be quick) There is no handicap pickup / dropoff which is why I made this request. In the time it takes to park, walk into the restaurant and start carrying my bags out....they tow my car ( '15 BMW if it matters). This isn't the part I'm mad about. This is: I get them to come back, explain everything going on and they told me they didn't care. Then they refuse my card payment (stating they felt I was going to do a charge back - I offered AMEX and Visa) and tell me that they only have a cash payment to get my car. The only ATM close by was locked in the closed mall. The driver said some nasty things and that he was going to take it back to the lot and charge double. They did take it to their lot in Wendell and when I get there, I have to argue my way back down to the $150...where I end up paying with a card anyway! This whole order took 10x the time with the same resolution Absolute scum.

Got stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery, don’t ask me how, I have no idea lol but I put out a call and within 15 minutes a gentleman, Worth, showed up and got right to work. The whole ordeal took less than two minutes and I was back on the road headed home. Worth was respectful, very professional, and offered some advice on how to prevent it from happening again. If I could give 10 stars, I 100% would! Thank y’all so much!

I called to ask about my vehicle after it being towed. The lady on the phone was very rude the entire phone call saying I’m not going back and forth and I don’t care you shouldn’t have parked there. Professionalism is a zero. I called calm not yelling and to be blatantly disrespected is unacceptable. Also when I got there I had to walk almost half a mile to go get my purse out the car due to their golf cart not being accessible. You never know what people are going through. Always choose kindness. I hope no one ever experiences what I did with this company.

My radiator cracked on my 2020 Coronado. Called these guys at 9am, tow came at 1pm and arrived to shop at 2:45pm on a Friday. I was told that my engine would be flushed, radiator would be swapped by noon on Saturday and it was. Cool tow truck driver from PA, Summer has great customer service and Dusty is a great shop foreman. Major shoutout to this business and their mechanics. Central One was quick at getting my car loaded and to the dealership. They provided me a ride to the dealership so that I could get there in time to get a loner vehicle before the dealership closed. I appreciate them and their professionalism, great communication.
Truck was over heating and I needed a tow to mechanic shop. After calling around the area and given outrageous prices Central One Towing was the most reasonable and affordable. Kaye and Steve (tow truck driver) were very helpful and professional! Everything went smooth and I was notified about the drop off. Definitely will be referring and using this company again.

While a protest happened today for those fightings for their freedoms, Freedom Towing was purposefully targeting their cars. How ironic. EDIT: Since we’re responding: Freedom Towing was indeed “fulfilling their contractual obligations” that day which is this according to their own drivers: “We are obligated to tow individuals who park in the lot in front of the stores who are not customers and marked spaces.” Well, they missed it there. Had to talk to a driver that I was a customer, had indeed purchased from the Aldi at that location, and don’t tow my car. Maybe it seemed like low-hanging fruit to grab whatever car was there, but not all of them were in violation. 15 spotters was not enough for the hundreds of cars, so if it can’t be confirmed or denied for a car of a customer, maybe don’t pick that one up.
Car was illegally towed in a parking spot and carged $250 cash ONLY ( which is now illegal in the the state of NC ) also have video of transactions and conversation with driver
Literally the best towing experience I have ever had from start to finish! I needed a tow from Raleigh to Burlington, and after calling several other places they were able to help. The wait wasn’t long and the young lady (I hate that I didn’t get her name) that came out to help was very quick, polite and professional. I will definitely be using their services again!

I hit a piece of construction debri on the 440 today and my roadside assistance told me it'd be 2 hours until they could come and help me. Since I wasn't in a very safe location, I decided that was too long and called Straight Away Towing to come and help me change out my tire. Alex showed up very quickly, and changed out my tire within 20 mins or so. He had to work in soft ground, as I was forced to pull over in some sand and mud, but he was able to work with it and get the job done. Thank you Alex for helping me out and saving my day. I really appreciate how fast and kind y'all were. Would recommend this service to anyone in the area, and I'd absolutely recommend Alex too!
Met the owner Johnathan a few years back just shooting the breeze at RDU waiting for a plane. Anyway he seemed like a really nice guy .. gave me his card and I’ve always kept it in my wallet just in case. Well needed some help when my tire blew up on the highway and didn’t have enough muscles to wrest free the lugnuts myself to change a tire. Cars were whizzing by and it really was a dangerous situation as part of my car was hanging out in the lane of traffic on interstate 40. I reached into my wallet and dusted off his business card and gave him a call. He instantly remembered talking to me, I told him my situation, and responded without hesitation that he’d be there personally in under 15 minutes. And so he was.. quite a feat during morning rush. Good thing he brought an impact gun as the lugnuts were nearly rusted tight on the wheel rim. Got my tire changed quickly and I was on my way. I’ve used towing and roadside services in the past but never had one respond so quickly and professionally as Johnathan from Straight Away Towing Service. Thanks so much!

Emmanuel responded to my AAA call for a tow. He arrived and took extra time to lift my car up and help me look under the chassis for some debris that might have been causing my problem. He also made the extra effort to completely set up wheel risers so my wheels wouldn’t be on the road, possibly making my problem worse. He was very friendly and personable. Highly recommend his tow service.

Got ghosted twice through AAA and the company didn’t even call me and let me know. I waited 3 hours one night by myself in a parking deck and 1.5 hours the next night in the same parking deck. This time I called AAA and told them to send someone else. She told me the guy just didn’t want to come out or something. These people are a bunch of fools.

One of yalls drivers almost crushed me and my son on hwy 70 on 1-18-25! He was towing a red Toyota Tacoma! Please tell your drivers to be more cautious when lane changing! My son is almost 2 years old and it would've broke my heart knowing he wouldn't have a full life because of one bad choice! And yes we were side by side so he/she could've easily seen us if they looked!
I have mixed feelings about this company. The lady who answered my the phone was super sweet and understanding about picking up my belongings. Being that I’m pregnant, I called and explained to her how their were certain medications that I left in the car that I NEEDED right away and other belongings I might have in there, so she was able to allow me to pick up my items that very same day. I appreciate her very much for that. I would give her a good rating because I didn’t really have any issues with her 🤷🏻♀️ However, the guy who towed my car seemed nice and understanding AT FIRST, but he was obviously giving me false assumptions. He came early Saturday morning before I headed to work to pick up my vehicle. He pretty much caught up to me before I left and had a super short conversation about what’s going on. I understand I was late on my payments and had a risk of getting my car repossessed, however I explained to him how I barely started working because I was off for a while due to COVID. I barely started working that week he tried towing the car. He made a statement and I remember clearly that he said, “I will give you an extension till Monday and to not tell my car loan about the extension. As long as you make the payment before Monday, your car will be ok” and I took his word for it. It was really none of his business whether I was pregnant or not, so I didn’t say anything about it… but even if I did tell him, I wouldn’t know if he would’ve really given me that extension. What upsets me the most is that he took my car while I was at work, after making the statement about extending my tow till Monday. I am in my second trimester of pregnancy and I had to wait outside in the heat for an hour for someone to pick me up due to my job being close early on weekends. The fact that he gave me false hope and decided to tow my car that very day upsets me. Don’t give me false hope saying you’re going to extend my tow day till Monday if I make payment that weekend. I would never wish any women to be in the position that I was in or lied to… and if he has a wife, I would hope his wife isn’t pregnant and not be stranded just like I was that day. He specifically needs to do better with his communication. If you’re not going do what you say you were going to do, then next time don’t say or offer an “extension”. Now you’re charging me a high towing fee cus you decided you wanted to lie and tow my car? Yeah that’s messed up. I get that you guys have a job and need to make a living, but don’t give me false hope. Honestly, I feel like a dedication needs to be made off my towing fee just because he decided to lie. Business does not work by giving false assumptions. If you want to talk to me about reducing the fee, then feel free to email me or my loan company since you have my information.
The owner has a nasty attitude and poor customer services. I called from the hospital about having my mom get my stuff out my car after being hit by a drunk driver. He told me I had to wait until I was out the hospital because he only releases to the owner. So what happens if I was in the hospital 3 months. Total disregard. I said something can be notarized and sent for my belonging. He still proceeded with saying no. When I said I will ask my lawyer about getting my belongings, all of sudden it was ok to send something notarized. Don’t use this place at all. The owner is a person with a nasty demeanor, 0 empathy and 0 customer service skills. They will try to make you leave your items there to collect more on the holding fee.
The Tyndall’s, caused more distress than Honda regarding my vehicle. I did everything correctly in the beginning, turned in keys and told them I would be returning for it once paid off. It’s almost impossible to get someone on the phone, one day I called three times and left a voicemail yet I had to follow up again because the call was never returned. Sometimes I would call and be told they’d call me back however they never did. My vehicle was released for a week before anyone informed me even though I had spoke with them during this timeframe. When we were finally able to speak with someone, Todd (owner) dismissed my concerns entirely while calling me a liar. After everything that we had experienced we wanted to speak to someone in person about our concerns. When we went to go pay our fees we talked with Vicki (front office) who simply kept telling us nothing could be done and did not issue a single apology. We did pay the fees and left but not before making sure they were aware of the terrible customer service they provide, which includes staff verbally insulting customers. It’s a pandemic, everything is crazy, there is no reason for anyone to be treating others the way A+ Towing treated us. Please avoid if possible. Also, please remember all businesses can be researched on the NC Secretary of State website.
This company is trash and the owner is a thief. My vehicle was towed by them and when I called to inquire about my personal property, I was told that I would have to pay $75 because they took "inventory" of the items in the vehicle. Once I went and got my belongings and paid the $75, I find that my Samsung gear2 smartwatch and its charger as well as my wireless charging phone mount among other less valuable items were missing from my belongings. I also found that the supposed inventory that was done on the property in my vehicle was not done and I was charged $75 for absolutely nothing. I called the company back and spoke directly to the owner, Todd, who told me that I shouldn't have waited so long to retrieve my property and that I couldn't prove what was in the vehicle therefore he could care less about what I was saying. After being hung up on by the so-called business owner several times, I contacted the local police who informed me that they get these types of complaints about this company on a regular basis. They are a bunch of schemers, liars, and thieves, especially the owner Todd. For you to tell a customer that they can't prove it so oh well is highly unprofessional and leads me to believe that he is the one who stole my belongings in the first place. I would not refer my worst enemy to this place. I have been in contact with the BBB as well as my lawyer to file a civil suit against them for my missing property and I plan to leave a bad review on every website possible and will tell everyone I can not to use this company. Thier business practices are shady to say the lease and the owner himself is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.

I attended a two-hour event and came back to find my car—and over 15 others—towed from the same lot. $300 to retrieve a car is an outrageous, exploitative fee. The towing staff were smug, unapologetic, and clearly taking advantage of a setup designed to trap people. People who do not have $300 could be trapped in an unfamiliar place. The lot had poor signage at best. It’s not acceptable to snatch dozens of cars like this at once unless your goal is to profit off people in distress. This isn’t public safety—this is capitalism at its slimiest. If you’re thinking of working with this towing company, ask yourself: do you want to align with people who profit off confusion, vulnerability, and desperation?
Wow...so my daughter and her friend (good college kids from great homes) weht to Raleigh last night for the fire work show. Before parking in this area where multiple cars were parked, they asked a police officer if they could park there to be sure as they are not from the area. They were told yes. They come back and the car is gone. They were in disbelief thinking they parked it and forgot where, that was differently not the case. Ace towed their car and charged them 207..to retrieve it. It makes me wonder if this was a set up or if the claim predatory tow is in fact what they were victims of. God sees and knows and vengeance belongs to him. A law will soon be in place concerning towing and companies will be help more accountable.

Dispatch guy was unbelievable unhelpful - told me a time to go to the business and pick up my car, conveniently forgot to tell me that *nobody was actually at the business* so I had to wait outside in the cold for an hour. $200+ charge to retrieve my car is extortionist rates. You don't actually provide a service to society - this business model is to turn working people into leeches for rich people.
Ace Towing has been a pleasure from an HOA management perspective. I know nobody likes their cars being towed. But from a property management perspective if cars are parked in a HOA community that should not be in a location for any given reason, Ace is quick to go tag the cars with appropriate notice and return for the appropriate towing. Morgan is my contact, and she replies immediately to any message or call.
