We cannot say enough good things about J&G Towing. The owner went completely out of his way to help us. Long story short, we'd left one of our vehicles at the hospital when my girlfriend needed surgery. I'd driven her home and couldn't leave her side, but we needed to get our 2nd vehicle back home. The owner of J&G took time out of his day to come by and pick up our keys before heading across town to the hospital to tow our vehicle to our home. Fast, safe, courteous, and professional service at a very competitive price. We will only be using J & G Towing for our transport needs in the future and would confidently recommend them to any friends, family, and colleagues. Great job at a great price.
Gavin is absolutely the man! I couldn't find anyone else to tow my vehicle from Greensboro to Raleigh, but Gavin promised to get me in before the end of the day. Sure enough, 30 minutes earlier than he'd told me, Gavin comes rolling up to my vehicle! We ended up chatting for a little while after he delivered my car and he has a great mind and soul. You don't meet people like Gavin, often! If you're considering him for your towing needs, don't hesitate! He's the one.

I got my truck towed today and had a great experience with this company. From the moment I called, the tow dispatcher was so nice, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I had a tractor breakdown after hours (10pm) alongside I40 eastbound in Greensboro NC. I was referred to “Fresh Start Roadside Assistance”. I was informed a tow truck would be at my location within the hour. We discussed the proximate fees and to my surprise a tow truck had been dispatched and on site less than the hour estimated. The tow truck driver was friendly, professional, proficient, and in little time we had dropped my broken truck off at my lot. I was very pleased with the tow.. so much so that in a few days afterwards, I needed a truck towed to a shop… without hesitation, I called “Fresh Start Roadside Assistance”. Their website shows pictures of big truck towing, but they also provide excellent and professional roadside assistance for cars too. My college aged son's Honda Civic would not crank. I tried jump starting it with a Duracell PowerPak, but there must not have been enough juice in it to work. So, I did not know if the problem was the battery, or if I might need a tow to a mechanic. After calling them for assistance, they thought that the problem was just a dead battery after all. Even though it was already early evening, they stopped by an auto parts store, bought the correct battery, and came to our house to install it. Happily, the problem was corrected, and I did not need a more expensive visit to the mechanic. I really appreciate Harvey's professionalism in being willing to stop by the auto parts store on his way to my house, and install it after hours. Many thanks!

How do you write a review about an angel without sending the reader floating away to Heaven? I don't know but I'm going to try to convey what a miracle experience I had with Travis Gentry. My once beloved Fiat 500X was due for inspection in 4 weeks. The check engine light had been on for months and the dealer stated it wouldn't hurt to drive it- they never told me the car wouldn't pass NC State inspection because of it. Ar'd that 4 wk point all of the dashboard system software lit up a panoply of impressive error messages and refused to start. Dealer across state line in VA wanted car towed there but didn't promise much. After this dealer charged me $2,000 to try to diagnose why the AC/backup camera stopped working only to say it would take an estimate of another $5,000 for some wire harness I decided NO. Salvage co in Greensboro offered me 8 cents per # ($200 total) if I towed it to them. So, the future looked bleak UNTIL Mr. Travis Gentry (the aforementioned ANGEL in disguise) came to my house, I briefly told him history and instead of towing it to a local dealer who offered me $500 on a trade in Mr. Gentry offered to take it to his workshop and run some tests. He was able to get the car running, properly diagnose what was wrong, and give a fair repair estimate. I CANNOT say enough good about this angel sent to my ONE day before the registration expired. I love his honesty, fair pricing, and above all his ethics which is a rarity in today's world. RECOMMEND Travis highly. You won't be disappointed.

Mr.Gentry and his wife was very friendly and punctual! I had a flat tire and Mr. Gentry was at my location within 30 minutes. I called 6 different towing company at 6:30am and he was the only one that was available and got to me at the earliest convenience! They also located me to someone that could replace my tire, another small business they were affordable and very quick! I had to leave to Charlotte and they made everything so smooth for me! Whenever I need a car towed, I will definitely reach out to this small business!
Travis was awesome! My car threw a rod on the hwy. He told me up front the worse case scenario of him having to get my car hooked up. He gave me one flat price to tow anywhere in Greensboro. The price was more than fair and miles lower than everyone else that I called. He also communicated non stop. Surprisingly, he collected payment once he had delivered my car and not up front. Nowadays, it’s rare when you come across someone in business who cares about the way that they handle the person as opposed to just getting your money and taking advantage of people in vulnerable situations. You can just feel over the phone that Travis is simply one of those “good people.” Gentry is now saved in my phone contacts. I highly recommend and appreciate the service & so will you!!

So impressed with the service I received from this company. The driver rescued me and my young kids from a very narrow section of shoulder on I-40. He came very quickly and was super knowledgeable about what was wrong with my vehicle. My family was traveling and were from out of town. We still had 2 hours left in our trip and he got us back on the road in super reasonable time frame. Can't say enough good things about this experience. If you have to be stuck on the side of the road, these are the people you want to help you out! Oh, and, completely reasonable price!

Alternator went out, AAA wouldn't even answer us and dispite their 24/7 hours postings was closed and couldn't even locate us on their app. Bobby's quoted us an hour...showed up in 30 min 😎 to the side of the highway and drove us straight home. Able was our pickup guy and he was the nicest, quickest, efficient tow driver I've ever had. Hopefully we won't have any more car issues but if we do, we know exactly who to call...Pricing was also a huge plus so a simple tow didn't break the bank for the week 💯

Absolutely fantastic experience with Bobby’s. After waiting 2 and 1/2 hours for a tow that never came, I called Bobby’s Friendly towing and recovery. Reasonable price. Slightly higher than what I was quoted by other less professional and slower tow companies in the area. For the level of customer service I received, I would have payed the price twice over. I was told 30 minutes and they were on time! I didn’t have to ask for an ETA, the driver texted me himself when he was nearby. It was raining and the service man who showed up was all smiles and a complete gentleman even though he had to use a tow dolley because my battery was completely dead. Tonight, in the driving rain, I came outside to a completely dead battery, but, as fortune would have it, a driver for EZ Towing was sitting right behind me in the parking lot. He gave me a jump free of charge (no pun intended). Call them. They’re nice folks.
They were amazing. They came in literally 8min and answered quickly. They simply asked me where I was and sent someone to me. The guy was very nice and comforting giving the situation. I would 100% recommend them to anyone

I had talk to Scott I give him the address he says the driver will be there in less than 30 minutes on a Sunday I paid over the phone right away because the price was very reasonable for Greensboro. I called my daughter back in 15 minutes she said the driver was already at the place waiting on her . That was a HUGE WOW!!!! My car battery died at the barber shop today. I used my auto insurance to send a request and they selected A&M Towing. The Eta for service was 65 mins. Allen arrived with 5 mins. Initially, he was able to charge my battery but my car ended up dieing again. I was able to give him a call to get my car towed to a shop that can see me now. Most repair shops are backed up. One place told me it would take two weeks. I appreciate the professionalism and customer serviced I received today.

This is one of the worst towing companies in Greensboro. They put my daughters life in jeopardy towing a vehicle with a child inside because it was parked on the grass for a couple minutes no warning just hitched my vehicle up with my minor child inside and towed and then absolutely refused to release my truck without me paying refused to give me any information or details about the company so that I can file a formal complaint with the BBB Every time I call to get in contact with supervisor manager owner, the young gentleman that answers the phone tells me that none of those people are available. He passed my complaint up to upper management and no one has gotten in contact with him or myself. This happened in the middle of a storm in Greensboro, North Carolina, this company informed me that they were instructed by my leasing agent to come and tow my vehicle. We had to end up calling the cops to get any contact information for this company who decided to remove the name of the side of the vehicle so they can come and snatch cars in the middle of the night. I do not recommend this company to anyone ever I also have Proof and witnesses my vehicle is equipped with rear and front camera and it captured the whole incident. If I could give a -10, I would and times that by 100
We must start sending out True Bills to these towing companies! They have stolen our vehicles that we have the titles to. In the meantime, they owe us rent $$$ for as long as they have possession (using our cars without my permission) of our property. Sounds like a class action to me...And all I wanted was my car and money back. Plus, the damaged that was caused during the tow in my 4WD, smh. WE will never get anywhere moving in this type of behavior/frequency. New Era may still be on the Old Era of knowledge. I give for #Free(dom).
I cannot speak highly enough of Markeese and New Era Towing. I needed someone to pull my tiny house out of a tricky spot where I had built it in my parents' back yard. Markeese handled it carefully and with incredible skill and patience, working it through a series of extremely tight points between trees, bushes, the house, and the neighbor's mailbox. He understood when I said I wanted to cut down as few small trees as possible, and went through incredible effort to work the house out around them. If I ever need something large or tricky towed again, he'll be the first person I call.

I waited with my family member for about 30 minutes trying to work other plans out to get her keys(that she locked in her car) out of her car. We made the call to all back tiring and recovery and he was to us in less than 15 minutes and got the keys out in less than 2 minutes. He was quick and very professional!

Whatever deal between them and the apartment complex they have is kinda shady. Not running plates? Coming at dead hours of the night? Even looking at their replies to people going through the same you can tell they’re just trying to get it where they can. They might even flag this or comment some b.s. reply on this one similar to other one stars. Be careful if your apartment complex has this system because no one told us when we signed a lease. Definitely a major inconvenience especially when the problem of my expired tags were in the process of being remedied and I work In a city 30 minutes away. Great job at making a quick buck and setting back the working class in the process.

Money hungry company. Woman gets her car stolen and then they tow it and wants her to pay the costs when it wasn't her fault. If there is a police report you should give her car back to her. It's the holiday season and she can't afford to get her car. Do a good deed and give her her car.

I don't recommend this towing company. The towing price is about 50% higher than the market price. For vehicle transport companies like ours, we need to stack several trucks together for towing. We have connections with towing companies all over the United States, and they also do similar work, removing the front wheels, releasing the brakes, and removing the drive shafts. The average price is $200-400. This company charged $562.20 and did not provide tire removal, drive shaft removal, and brake release services. They only provided a lifting truck.

The girl is rude and nasty hung up on me twice and tried to lie and say she put me in hold wouldn’t help me at all the worst customer service and their prices are high as hell I would not recommend go somewhere else with your business but if you want bad customer service and wanna jump through hoops and hurdles then go for it this is the place!!!

I own a car lot in Randleman. I have a friend who had her n her husband was staying in their van in Lowe's Hardware parking lot in Greensboro. They were working at the flea market in Greensboro when they came back to the van it was gone and so were her cat of 8 years and 5 kittens. I too . When I took her to get her van we asked where her animals were. We were told that there were no cats in the van. Of course we knew that to be a lie. So I just want to say I know they were only doing their job by towing the vehicle. But when did the job consist of taking someone's cat that was family and breaking my friends heart. These people at kirks towing have no heart ❤️💜
Went to pick up a load at a shipper and pig tail plug was all busted up they came out and did a very excellent fast repair and got me back moving down the road. Definitely recommend to any truckers needing trailer repairs done by these good ole folks!
I'm a Superintendent for Senecal Construction and I had a 20 ton boom lift stuck in the mud. They came over and pulled my equipment out quickly. Very professional company and the driver of the tow truck was amazing. .I recommend them highly and I will use them again.
I had a great experience with Dillon, who drove over an hour to adjust the brakes on a company trailer late last night. Super nice guy, extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommend this company! I had my car towed twice by this company. The first time they claimed they couldnt do nothing since the pass was not visible. I took that as a lesson and paid their fees. The second time they took my car, I had left the parking pass on my dash board. I had made sure to never leave the car without the pass on the dash since it continuously kept falling from the rear view mirror. Oddly enough, these people wait till a rainy day, when my windshield is foggy to come and take my car a second time. I knew that the pass was inside the car and that it was visible because i had to eat the charges last months. So when I found myself to their lot, I asked them to come with to take a look at the car. Once i opened the door, the pass had slid from the dash to the passenger seat. The guy at the front saw the pass there as well and it was even visible through the windows. His only excuse was that "two people" looked at it and didnt see it but when i come around is clearly visible. When i asked if there were any pictures taken, he denied to it. When i asked to speak with those two people who looked at the car, he refused my request as well. I am now forced to park at the visitors parking of my own apt complex with a VISIBLE parking pass inside just to make sure these people dont continue to take advantage of me.

Towed my vehicle, and I'm on lease, and the apartments say they are scammers, but I won't knock no one hustle. I just know my vehicle shouldn't have been towed, and apartments made the issue right. But be aware of where you park because I've experienced it myself.
What a day?! I was heading home from a 2 hour trip when I suddenly experienced trouble with my tire and found myself stuck on the side of the highway in one of the busiest locations on 40 West in Greensboro. There was barely any room for me to pull over. I called my insurance company’s roadside service and it was taking them a while to send someone so I finally decided to search for towing companies near me. I found Casey’s Towing. The person who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. The price she quoted me was reasonable. She said someone would be there within 30 minutes but it probably wouldn’t take that long. Big Mike called my cell to let me know he was on the way. He was there in about 20 minutes. He was helpful and friendly. When loading my SUV, he even noticed a huge screw in my tire which is most likely the cause of my trouble. He gave me and my car a ride to the service station of my choice and even helped me leave my key in the drop box. Big Mike gave me a receipt so that I could send it to my roadside service for reimbursement. They were wonderful and I will certainly call them again should I run into anymore car issues when I’m in Greensboro. Thank you Casey’s Towing!
I was very pleased with Casey’s towing. The staff was very professional and able to answer all of my questions and get my car towed in a timely manner as promised. I am actually very satisfied with the efficiency of this company. My car got towed overnight from my apartment complex (completely my fault) and when I called at 5am to ask how much the towing fees were, i was told in a rude manner and got hung up on as soon as I was done asking questions. No goodbye or anything. After reading some reviews I was skeptical about getting overcharged or running into rude employees as i already had dealt with a man and a woman on the phone who were both rude (I called twice to make sure I had the correct amount in cash) Along getting there, there were 2 ladies in the office. I was overcharged for a fee I was not aware of, but the two ladies in the office helped me out and were fairly nice and respectful through the entire process. I can see where the bad customer service reviews come from, however the people behind the counter are willing to work with you just so long as you remain cordial and respectful. Because at the end of the day, it’s not their fault your car got towed. So to those ladies who were there on 10/29 at around 8-9pm Thank you!!
I didn't know it was legal to go through neighborhoods and snoop through parking lots looking into cars for decals. Maintenance even sees them and people see them at night. I contacted my Leasing office who called them because supposedly they've taken 2 cars that had decals. Then they have the nerve to be rude because they know they have YOUR car. The Leasing office was able to get my car and hopefully they can put a stop to Casey's towing!!! They don't deserve even a 1 star!!

Unprofessional at the supposed business they should be running. STEALING vehicles parked at a residence to be able to hold the vehicle hostage in order extort money from people with no option but to pay to get their property back. Disgusting people. Didn't have my car and hour, just enjoy stealing from people because they can. And messed up my bumper on top of it!

They were so professional, I couldn't believe how fast they got to me. They even offered service to me which I like for reasonable prices. If anybody needs a tow or your car fixed they are the people to call.

Today at lunch April 28, 2025 me and a co-worker went to Outback on Westover Terrace. The new Dave’s Hot Chicken just opened in the area (I had no clue). So we went in sat down and had a great lunch. We pay and head to the car MY CAR WAS GONE. GONE GONE. Come to find out if you are parking over in the parking lot of Outback, Hertz, IHOP and going over to Dave’s Hot Chicken then GOTCHA TOWING is taking your car. Now my point is we were at OUTBACK parked in the correct parking lot and my car was TOWED. Called GOTCHA TOWING and was told they have PROOF we went to Dave’s Hot Chicken. Show me the PROOF, we have our receipts and outback bags with our leftovers. Also the lady working in Hertz and the manager of Outback seen us come in and leave. GOTCHA TOWING said it is going to be $340 to get my car I said no it’s not who do I need to talk to and she continued to BE RUDE and my co-worker took the phone and said no it is not we want to speak to your manager. There is no one else to speak to and it will be $340 to get your car and hung up on us. The manager of Outback called the landlord of the building and he was actually outside and he called the owner of GOTCHA TOWING. I got my car without paying $340 but the point is we were gone for lunch for 2 hours and 45 mins then had to Uber (they paid for) to retrieve my car and this lady was still RUDE. GOTCHA TOWING needs help odviously because whoever is spotting people going over to Dave’s Hot Chicken can’t see and the lady on the PHONE and works the OFFICE MOST RUDEST PERSON. I do want to thank the owner or whoever was talked to about my car without having to pay because no I was not in the wrong but however when we get to 4100 Burlington road and still got attitude that really upset me even more because I was not in the wrong ever and me and my co-worker missed an extra hour hour and 45 mins of work because of it. To basically be called a liar upsets me so much that I had to make this review. Stop being so rude.
Company is a run by typical scammers, just look at their trash reviews. Almost as bad as their customer service. Towed my car from General reserved parking spot at 2 pm. After they still charged me 340$ and i had to drive with my friend 30 mins and also wait more than 40 minutes to pick up my car, and I missed half a day of work. Greensboro, BEWARE. If you go to Dave’s Hot Chicken, predatory Gotcha Towing has someone watching the parking lot and if you park in the lot by Outback, etc. and go to Dave’s, they will tow you. It’s $350 to get your car back. It’s $250 if you come out and you want them to drop it.
Absolute predatory towing! Not only did they charge $340 for a 9 mile tow which is expensive they also damaged my tire on my car to the point it needed to be replaced. Whatever kick back pricing they have with Outback Steakhouse is ridiculous. Greensboro commerce needs to investigate this company immediately.
I have parked in the parking lot next to daves hot chicken almost every day of the week but have never seen any boards or anything. I went inside for like 10 mins and they towed my car even though most of the businesses were closed at that time . When i came back i saw the board on the other side of the parking lot after a woman told me that she saw a car getting towed. The board was on the other side of the parking lot, where you can only read it, if you go in from that side but for that you have to enter the on coming traffic lane which is super dangerous. They charged me $387, for towing my car for 20 minutes and were super rude. I will take a legal action against them as they are a mafia. I wont let innocent people get scammed. Will update soon!
Made me delete a previous review in order to get my car back. What kind of..? Cussed at me over the phone, and then demanded cash only. Do not spend your money here for a tow.
