We cannot say enough good things about J&G Towing. The owner went completely out of his way to help us. Long story short, we'd left one of our vehicles at the hospital when my girlfriend needed surgery. I'd driven her home and couldn't leave her side, but we needed to get our 2nd vehicle back home. The owner of J&G took time out of his day to come by and pick up our keys before heading across town to the hospital to tow our vehicle to our home. Fast, safe, courteous, and professional service at a very competitive price. We will only be using J & G Towing for our transport needs in the future and would confidently recommend them to any friends, family, and colleagues. Great job at a great price.

I came across J&G towing on google after calling several other tow companies (which were either rude, had extremely high prices or just all together didn’t answer the phone) In a panic and at my wits end and was pleasantly surprised to find the call answered promptly and professionally. In speaking with Gavin (who is also the owner) I was given a great price and approx time of arrival which was in less than an hour. Upon prompt arrival, J&G company was very calm courteous and answered any questions I had. At the drop off location J&G towing made sure there was no damage done to the vehicle while towing and dropped the car neatly in the spot I requested. He provides receipts and business cards which was very helpful, being that unbeknownst to me I would be needing J&G towing again which again was provided with professional prompt service. I would highly recommend calling J and G towing for any of your towing needs! Great prices!! Amazing professional customer service!! And coverage within the state of North Carolina!
Really, really nice, professional folks. We were in a jam—car was dead in a grocery store parking lot, and we couldn’t jump it. J&G sent somebody out immediately. The driver, Dante, was amazing. Really friendly and knew what he was doing. Less than an hour after we had called in the situation we were back on the road. Highly recommend. There are tow companies that are predatory. This ain’t one of them.
After waiting for over three hours on I-85 for an AAA tow from Greensboro to Raleigh, we understood that despite what they said, AAA wasn't sending a truck or didn't have a truck to send. Friends brought us back to Greensboro the next day. We researched towing companies and their reviews and chose J&G Towing. Gavin was responsive, professional, and prompt. He gave us an accurate estimate of when he could tow our car and called to confirm his arrival time. We met Gavin at our car, which was off the road on I-85 N, and he took care of the rest. Gavin later confirmed that he delivered our car to the repair shop in Raleigh and sent us a picture of the car at the repair shop to verify it. J&G gets five stars and A++ for thoroughness, professionalism, and service.

I was traveling alone otw home from Elon, NC, to southwest GA when I had a flat tire just off the interstate. Clueless who to call on a rainy Sunday morning, I turned to google. After reading the reviews, I called Fresh Start. I was given the price and arrival time up front and he was spot on! Such a genuinely nice, professional, courteous man! He made me feel completely at ease and did a perfect job repairing my tire on the spot and had me back on the road in under an hour! AND, he texted me later in the evening to make sure I made it home with no further tire issues! Without hesitation, I highly recommend Fresh Start - you will not be disappointed!!!!!
Top tier work! My father blew a tire while in busy traffic Mr. Marvin came and went above and beyond. My father’s lug nuts were stripped and refused to come off. Mr. Marvin saw the problem left and came back with the right tool and new lug nuts to fix the problem. He even took my father’s spare tire and filled it up with air just to ensure it would be perfect. He worked his magic and popped the tire off and replaced it with the spare. While we were replacing the tire I had my caution lights on and it drained my battery. He was able to jump my car and my father and I were able to drive away reassured that we would make it to our destinations safely. I would definitely call again!
By far; Marvin and staff did NOT damage my vehicle while towing, and they actually replaced my alternator!! I recommend this company to ANYONE!!

When contacted by Stephen, said he'd be at my house to take flar tire off and replace with my donut spare. He said he'd be here in 25 minutes. Arrived earlier. Then got his tools needed out and went to work. He had successfully completed the swap out in 15 minutes and then he was on his way to his next service call. Superior service. Highly recommend.

I was four hours from home. Had a flat tire on a 16 foot box truck. The service from Maddie and Tony were outstanding. Located where I was and got me back and running within an hour. Would highly recommend.
Tow Service was good. Just seemed like it took forever to get there. Sitting on the side of I40 was not a pleasant experience. DOT stopped by twice while we were waiting.The lady I talked to said they would move us up 30 minutes. But it was still the original time quoted.

Nice guy, good customer service, reasonable rates
I had a stellar experience with Travis Gentry. On a Sunday late in the day, he promptly towed my daughter’s car from a busy highway AND repaired her brake damage from running over a dead deer. Communications were clear and timely throughout. The service exceeded my expectations, all at a more than fair price. I trust Travis and highly recommend him to all.
Waited two days for gotcha towing to cancel on me. Waited 10 minutes for Gentry’s to be at my house hooking up my truck and down the road.

I was in an accident with a semi truck, and I called Gentry Towing to pick up my brand new 2023 Dodge Charger and me, to tow the vehicle home and drop me off. I was so completely upset that my brand new baby was damaged, but Travis Gentry, was there in 15 mins, and he lightened the situation with his amazing sense of humor and attitude. Absolutely fantastic experience with Bobby’s. After waiting 2 and 1/2 hours for a tow that never came, I called Bobby’s Friendly towing and recovery. Reasonable price. Slightly higher than what I was quoted by other less professional and slower tow companies in the area. For the level of customer service I received, I would have payed the price twice over. I was told 30 minutes and they were on time! I didn’t have to ask for an ETA, the driver texted me himself when he was nearby. It was raining and the service man who showed up was all smiles and a complete gentleman even though he had to use a tow dolley because my battery was completely dead. I will only recommend this company to all my ladies needing a tow in Greensboro. Thank you Bobby’s Friendly Towing and Recovery.
Unethical business practices and has no remorse. $380 for a tow from. Brand new business that is bringing in a lot of revenue for the city is criminal. Signs are not very visible.
I had waited over 3 hours for onstar to help me. I called and Bill picked me up within 20 minutes and drove me an hour home. He was wonderful, pleasant, safe and fair priced! Not to mention he picked me up at 11pm!
My call was answered immediately, and the tow truck was dispatched right away. Abe delivered excellent customer service, calling with an ETA and talking me through the procedure on both ends of having my car towed to the scrap yard. He was very helpful, patient, and friendly throughout the experience. I highly recommend this company!

Popped a tire on the highway! The guys were prompt in getting to me and transported me to a tire shop without any incident. The entire ordeal from start to finish took less than an hour with the quick service from the tow company. They were kind and accommodating and i highly recommend this company!

I have never dealt with a company with such poor customer service. They answer the phone to get your business, and once they have it, they only want to communicate via text. I was charged fees for services not performed. My storage price changed at the time of pick up. The bill for storing my vehicle there for a week was $1800. Imagine that? For a sedan! This business gets a thumbs down for the following: - Poor communication/no call backs/delayed responses via text. - Hidden fees - Innacurate charges - Inpunctual appointments for vehicle releases - Aggressive in conversation - no customer wants to be threaten I already retained an attorney to try to retrieve all the bogus charges I had to pay. Hope this helps someone out and don't get robbed like I did.
I broke down while traveling from NC to VA. I was on the side of the highway with my 3 young children and called them to get a quote. They were the best priced, got to me quickly, and communicated very well. They assisted me with my car seats and drove us 1.5 hours home! I'm very thankful for their help.

Awesome service. Got my car towed in less than 30 mins from a busy road to my apartment complex. The driver was very attentive and great. I don’t blame the towing company I blame the Property Management Company, I think before they go towing cars the property management company should find out who that car belongs to first, because if your staying there and paying rent then it shouldn’t be a problem to park there because of an expired tag, because half the cars that be parking there don’t stay there at all hence the sign they have up unauthorized vehicles, illegally parked, or improperly parked, they are basically making it easier for people who don’t stay there to have a place to park
I would NOT give this EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL company one star!!!! My son, granddaughter and his girlfriend went to pick their car up, and the bumper was hanging off of the 2017 Nissan Maxima. My son's girlfriend went to take a picture with her phone, and the man said to do it outside of the tow yard. My son told his girlfriend to go ahead and take the picture before pulling out. The man didn't have a name tag on, but he was a very short African American man who displayed ZERO respect for my family or my 4 year old granddaughter!! He was cursing over the intercom, and then called my son out and told him to "Step out! Step out!!!" My son became extremely upset, and simply stepped out. His girlfriend took my granddaughter to the car, so that she didn't witness anymore, AFTER LISTENING TO HIS HORRIBLY VULGAR COMMENTARY. A complete lack of work ethic!! He said he'd had a bad day. That's his problem. THAT'S NO EXCUSE TO DRIVE AROUND IN A BIG JACKED UP DIESEL PICK-UP TRUCK WITH A BIG P ON THE BACK LIKE A MANIAC & ALMOST HITTING MY GRANDDAUGHTER!!! This company WILL be hearing from my attorney!!!

My husband was on the side of the road last night at 2:30 AM in 20 some degree weather with a blown tire & a stripped lug nut that kept him from being able to get the tire off. After calling our insurance company & them telling him they were trying to find someone for over 2 hours he took matters into his own hands & reached out to All Call towing. Vincent was there to help him promptly! He even encouraged my husband to get back in the car as he was warm & my husband wasn’t dressed for that weather (of course not expecting to be on the side of the road). Julien was awesome. He answered quickly and because I was at work was able to get everything sorted in that one phone call. Fair price and quickly picked up the car. He even sent me a picture of where he dropped my car per my instructions. Wouldn’t use another tow company.

Always hiring for class A driver but never hire anyone..atleast No one from my ethnic background 🤔
I don't recommend this towing company. The towing price is about 50% higher than the market price. For vehicle transport companies like ours, we need to stack several trucks together for towing. We have connections with towing companies all over the United States, and they also do similar work, removing the front wheels, releasing the brakes, and removing the drive shafts. The average price is $200-400. This company charged $562.20 and did not provide tire removal, drive shaft removal, and brake release services. They only provided a lifting truck.
My daughter was involved in and accident on a Friday evening and this company was called by the police officer. The driver was courteous and seemed like he was at least trying to be helpful. However, he never disclosed that the price to tow the vehicle approximately 5 miles back to their shop would be $220+, and there would be $25/day storage fee over Memorial Day weekend even though the office was closed which would prevent us from retrieving the vehicle. The office staff are not as courteous and don’t even pretend to be helpful. This company is just not honest or trustworthy. If these guys show up to the scene of an accident you’ve been involved in, you are getting wrecked all over again!! Justifying price gouging by saying, “Someone else sets maximum we can charge” or “If you have full service insurance they will pay” proves the point, these guys are not trustworthy!! Definitely look elsewhere if you have any choice.
Terrible customer service! Rude! We tried to get our car off the lot, (it was in a wreck, not our tow choice) they wouldn't allow us to simply put on a spare so that we could drive it home, they said it was a liability, fine. We asked if they could tow it to our house, 1st the lady at the desk said maybe, but it could be a few days. Fine, let's just get it home. Then she calls back and said they don't have a tow truck, it's broken. It would be 2 weeks before they could tow it. If you want it, find another tow company or it can sit here but we would owe the daily storage fee, she said. GENTRY towing to the rescue! He Brought a truck, hooked it up and brought it to our house. Gate city had the SAME tow truck sitting there, 1 actually left for a call as I was watching Gentry hook up our car. Absolute laziness and no compassion for a PAYING customer.

I broke down in Yadkinsville today with my short bus. Faith came out and got my bus back to Randleman. She is a boss lady she was awesome we are so grateful for her she really was the best thank You so much Faith and if I ever need a tow you will be who I’m asking for
Pulled in with missing clevis pins on my tandems. They took 7.5 minutes to pop a couple bolts and nuts in the brackets. They charged $104.98 You can always tell the true character of a company by how badly they screw you when you're in their mercy. I really should have done it myself, but it's not the point here. I mentioned the crazy price for this 'service', and was asked, 'well, how long does it take to get all the paperwork done?'
Nothing bad to say here. They arrived within an hr, operator was very friendly and thorough she explained everything and clearly knows her job well.
Attempted to tow my car yesterday (truck W5 & W15), ruined the rotors on my car, damaged the underside of my car and the exhaust as well. Would definitely give zero stars if it were possible! As if that wasn’t enough the 2nd driver arrived and called the police on my husband after my property manager told them not to take the car.
I was in need of a long distance tow (approx 200 mi) for my Semi truck as a result of breakdown. From start to finish, the experience was both courteous & professional. They sent out a young man named Robert. He arrived when they said he would & took great care with my truck. Robert was quite an impressive young man. The rate I was charged i felt was very reasonable for the svc required. And I was able to be home with my family for Thanksgiving. My thanks to all the staff there, particularly Robert. When I am in need of this svc again, I will certainly be calling these guys. My thanks to the entire team there, particularly Robert. May you all be blessed this holiday season!

This company’s customer service is absolutely terrible. My car was unrightfully towed when I had paid my parking pass and registered my car. When I called customer service he put me on hold indefinitely. Afterwards I had called two more times and he was completely rude, and was not willing to give me any kind of help. He did not even know what the parking permits looked like and was unable to describe it to me. Nobody should EVER contract with them as they are a completely inappropriate and unprofessional business.
I was staying at the Cavalier Inn in Greensboro NC, and experienced some car trouble. The management said there was no problem where the car was parked, as there were lots of spaces available anyway. The same evening, the security guard called Casey's Towing to have our car towed erroneously- it appears they have some kind of arrangement- when he saw our car parked across two spaces, he called Casey's, and our car was gone! When we spoke to the guard to see if he knew anything, he was super rude! I'm sure he knew plenty! This was such a set-up! When I called Casey's to find out what was going on, we were told twice by 'Ameeka' that we would have to pay $300 to get it out of their tow yard. When we went to get it, the amount had changed to $600 to retrieve our car. I'm sure the security guard got his cut of the $600, and Casey's got the rest. This is all kinds of crooked, and shady. Zero stars for Casey's !

Casey’s Towing is very unprofessional and whether supposedly “contracted” by student apartment complexes to tow vehicles that don’t have parking passes or not, they don’t honor the apartment complexes policies. University Village updated its policy to state that Towing Companies would give a 5 minute courtesy to people dropping off/picking up residents. On today, when dropping off my daughter, we literally parked to take her suitcase and belongings in and use the restroom before getting back on the road and before we could walk back out Casey’s Towing was pulling away with my vehicle. My daughter jumped in her vehicle and stopped them before they got out of the apartment complex lot and they told her if she had cash on her they would let the vehicle down. Before she could even count her cash one of the drivers (since it was 2 trucks as they snatched another vehicle at the same time as mine) rudely told her “it doesn’t look like you got the money anyway”. First of all, Casey’s Towing did not do a “5 min courtesy” before snatching my vehicle. Secondly, as we followed them to their impound lot, the tow trucks weaved in and out of lanes and drug my vehicle and the other vehicle with no regard for any damages that may be caused to it. Luckily my daughter has a dash cam with all of that coverage. Finally when we get to their impound lot, again the drivers are so rude and unprofessional (the fee kept changing- the lady at the desk said it could be paid with a card then the driver came in and said cash only). This business is very unprofessional, whether they are actually working at the request of the apartment complexes or not, there is a better way to do business and provide customer service. Furthermore, preying on college students and their families, simply isn’t it. Working for the community is what their website says??? More like lining their pockets and that of these apartments complexes. I also noticed on the BBB website their score is an F. I’m not surprised. God don’t like ugly. Everyone has a job to do, but how you do it makes all the difference in the world. Beware of this business folks! (I would have given 0 stars but had to select at least 1 to post the review).
I wasn't happy. The dispatched who was on duty Friday night was courteous, but communication between dispatch and driver was terrible. I was told I could get my car before 1am, I was ready with money in parking lot before 1am, made over 30 calls to dispatch for NO ONE to show up. I left at almost 1. Called back the next day and the morning dispatch said "I don't know how you kissed it, they released a car around 2am". Had to make several calls that I was still waiting after showing up at the time given. Dispatch started to get an attitude with me but her driver was the one who wasn't there. Driver showed up and had a predetermined attitude. My bumped was cracked and leaning off my car and the driver said "nothing you can do really." When I asked to speak to the owner I was told "he don't deal with the clients, I'll take your info and we'll get back to you" and haven't heard a thing from them. Terrible experience.

Literally the most unprofessional business interaction ever. While out of town celebrating an event for my son, we parked in a strip mall parking lot. The towing sign was covered by a group of people as we entered the lot. We did not see the sign , we were in the wrong. Fast forward to the instruction to meet a random man on a street corner with 250.00 dollars cash to get your car back. No receipt. This company is taking in money hand over fist and I am SURE they are reporting the “cash” transactions as income. Lesson learned. I will not be visiting Greensboro area again after this experience. I am so grateful we had friends with us so we did not have to call an Uber to take us to an atm machine to get cash. The entire set up breeds the opportunity for people to be taken advantage of.
They will tow your car if it’s parked for even five minutes even if you are a customer for which the parking is marked! Then they won’t answer the phone when you try to call them to figure out how to get the car back! I know they’re sitting there twiddling their damn thumbs bc the phone rang a different number of times and I got three different messages! They make you pay cash only so it’s clearly a scam too. I’d give zero stars if I could, this place needs to be shut down.

Unprofessional at the supposed business they should be running. STEALING vehicles parked at a residence to be able to hold the vehicle hostage in order extort money from people with no option but to pay to get their property back. Disgusting people. Didn't have my car and hour, just enjoy stealing from people because they can. And messed up my bumper on top of it!

If I could give 0 stars I would. “Val” checked me out today. Super rude. No sense of urgency, respect or kindness. Val was extremely rude and had horrible customer service. 0/5 all around.
Price gouging highway robbery. Towed my car and then told me the price goes up every hour I don’t get my vehicle. Cash only, of course. Had to call a friend, run me to the atm, and get over there asap. The rush and inconvenience ALONE is worth 1 star just for being an awful business to the community. The $340 to get my car out after it was towed 3 hours earlier will make it difficult for me to make the rest of my month’s bills. This company got their lick so who cares.
Towed car and said it was illegally parked. It was in a parking space backed in. Asked why other cars backed in weren't towed and was told we can't tow 30 cars. So you pick and choose which one you will tow? Still seeing cars backed into spaces not towed. Cost 365.00 to get car back. Predators at their finest.
Towed my car & my clients car from downtown Greensboro (I work downtown) from a lot that did not have signs posted in the parking spaces themselves. I understand the confusion, but being the fact the signage was vague you would think they would have some kind of compassion and understanding for the situation. The drivers were smart asses. Not only that but my e-break was on so who knows if my car is ruined. I had to pay for my clients car as well. $700! They also only took cash only so they’re probably smearing the books, the irs should probably take a look at that. I will definitely be reporting them and have email the private owner of the lot so they can have proper signage.
I have parked in the parking lot next to daves hot chicken almost every day of the week but have never seen any boards or anything. I went inside for like 10 mins and they towed my car even though most of the businesses were closed at that time . When i came back i saw the board on the other side of the parking lot after a woman told me that she saw a car getting towed. The board was on the other side of the parking lot, where you can only read it, if you go in from that side but for that you have to enter the on coming traffic lane which is super dangerous. They charged me $387, for towing my car for 20 minutes and were super rude. I will take a legal action against them as they are a mafia. I wont let innocent people get scammed. Will update soon!
