Had to have my Mazda towed. My insurance called J&P Towing and Transportation for the job. They dispatched Riley who promptly called us with an ETA to my location and had the vehicle hooked up and moved out of the way faster than I could count to 50. Riley was fast and a true professional. Wife noticed smoke trailing behind her truck while we were headed in to Fayetteville. Ended up being a trans cooler line had come off the transmission. Pulled in to a Circle K and coordinated a tow. Initial ETA from our insurance was over an hour. The driver called me a few minutes later and was there in about 10 minutes. Very nice young man and very professional. Highly recommend J&P and will use them again if the need arises.

This guy was absolutely awesome, he was very polite, friendly and punctual!! not only was he the cheapest every other towing company was charging me $130 or more and I called every towing company on the list from google, his price was very reasonable on top of that he came out and actually took the time to check the car and we found out it wasn’t my starter it was the battery, he ended up saving me a lot of money and time. I will definitely be recommending him to anyone and he will be the first person I call if I ever need a tow!!!!!

This tow truck company is extremely unprofessional. Tonight, the driver used racial slur, showing a total lack of respect. No one should have to experience this kind of treatment. I strongly advise people to not use their services— as they conduct business in a dishonest, unacceptable manner!

Unfortunately, my boyfriend’s experience with Quality Towing & Recovery was not a positive one. While we appreciate the importance of timely and efficient roadside assistance, the cost charged for the service raised serious concerns. He was charged $525 to tow a standard coupe out of a ditch that, by any professional assessment, was not very steep or complex to access. As someone who is familiar with North Carolina towing laws and guidelines, I know that pricing should be transparent and reflect the actual difficulty of the recovery. In this case, the cost felt excessive and not justified by the circumstances. We expected fair treatment and a reasonable rate, especially from a company with such strong reviews. We hope this feedback encourages a more consistent and customer-friendly approach moving forward.

We've used Mr. Legette, Bruce and the rest of the crew at Road Runner anytime we at Fire Protection have an issue with our fleet of vans/pickups. Out of the 7 or 8 times we've used them, I've only had a slight delay of 1 hr ONCE. The other 7/8 times, they had a truck at my location within 25 minutes. They have a number of trucks running at any given time so even if they aren't immediately available, they should have one available to assist you within an hour as I mentioned. On top of their speed and promptness, they also seem to be cheaper than almost every other local tow truck. If you can drive it onto the tow truck ramp and it's just going around the city, I've never paid more than $80. Definitely recommend!
This was the best customer service I have ever received from a place of business, the owner John went above and beyond, my hot shot broke down in north Carolina on my way to Florida with a trailer full. My driver abandoned my truck and trailer,he not only towed my trailer he let me keep my trailer in his lot for a very responable price. He unload the cars and kept in his lot till the new driver came for the cars. I had a car that my insurance company declared a total loss after an unfortunate collision with a deer. They sent a tow truck from Cain’s to haul it away. The tow truck driver’s name was Keith, and he handled the process extremely well. I was away from home when he arrived, but he called me to let me know what time he’d be there. Then I realized that I hadn’t removed the license plate from the car, so I asked him to remove it and leave it for me - which he did. His competence and his pleasant and professional manner made a tough situation at least a little easier. Thanks, Cain’s and Keith!

Most towing companies I called the prices started at over $200 for a tow, Cains towing had the best rates of them all and was there in 20 minutes! I'll never even consider another tow company in Fayetteville.

I recently had a serious breakdown going through Fayetteville. Every other towing company I called had said it would take hours to get to me, and that's if they answered. Richard came to tow my car and was very polite, respectful, knowledgeable, and transparent, despite it being late in the evening. Richard is the man and I highly recommend him.
Our truck crapped out today called AAA they sent out Duane from Mitchell's and I can't say enough good things about out experience. He arrived earlier than anticipated, you could tell he was very knowledgeable and good at what he does had the truck loaded up and we were on our way to the mechanic in no time! And he was very personable pleasant to talk to on the drive as well.
Dispatcher Janice called first thing and told me when my tow driver, Richard would be there to tow my car to the repair shop. He texted when my car was dropped off and delivered to be fixed. They were very fast and explained everything so I knew what to expect. Richard is a great driver and I appreciate the professionalism. Highly recommend Mitchell’s Towing!!!
Wait time was atrocious. The call representative Miss Cora white was very rude and impatient. Popped a tire on the expressway. We were asking her questions and she was giving every response but the answer we needed so when we needed to ask again she began to get frustrated and talk with a sour attitude. I hate when there are negative people working for customer service. Especially one that’s supposed to help people.
My work van blew up on a Saturday morning, I called and they said they could come in 20 mins. They were there in10! Dispatch was curious, and driver was awesome. Even towed it while I made arrangements to get the mechanic shop to pay for it ( they did)..All around great experience. Will definitely use again for private and my business

DO NOT USE THIS TOW COMPANY!! The driver was nice but he didn’t know what he was doing. He called in for help but was offered none and this is the end result of an improper tow. It took him over an hour to load it and 45 minutes to off load it. He repeatedly slammed the flatbed into the street to lower my vehicle down. I have a snapped control arm and damage to the wheels, not to mention the damage to the street and my yard.
These guys are amazing! I needed my car towed due to a flat tire and they provided me with the cheapest price. It was so last minute but they got to me within the hour. When they came and got the car I told them I needed a ride and they gave me accommodations even though it was last minute. They were friendly and we had great conversation! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a tow! I will definitely use them again if I need a tow!

I waited 2 weeks to post this review, hoping the company would look at the evidence and videos I have showing their tow truck busting my oil pan. I noticed it once we got home and black oil (diesel) was dripping all over their equipment. The driver said, it's been leaking hydraulic fluid lately. My guy, oil and hydraulic fluid are 2 different colors and you had NO hydraulic connections anywhere near where the oil piled on top of your tow arm. It's YOUR responsibility to say, the oil pan is too low, I can't do it, it'll damage your car. I called day 1 and was told to email the pictures and videos I took while the car was still hooked up to the tow truck, once he pulled out and it showed the oil and the oil flowing out of my car. I have gotten NO response at all from these lovely people. It started with a 6-10 inch puddle, then once the oil was completely drained from my engine, about 15 minutes later, I have a oil puddle in my driveway. So how does hydraulic fluid continue running from under my car after the truck left? I have the photos, videos, common sense to show your liability. I was told to call between 8 and 3. I called at 1 and was told the manager won't be there until tomorrow. I'm told this atleast 3 times, calling at various times. Told by the same dispatcher, no issues with her unless she knowingly lied. But I got the manager one day a week or more later and she said she can't do anything about it, it's their accident and loss dept. You are a tow company, you don't have all these fake departments. You're a mom and poop tow company. So the only way I'll be getting reimbursed for their driver flying down 95 while my car is bouncing it's oil pan against their tow arm. I have pictures of your driver in my oil pan. I'm not filling with my insurance company, I'll have to pay a $500 deductible and so your rates don't go up, I offered to send an estimate and you pay for the repair. No one can approve it, not even the owner. The magistrate judge will have the common sense to see this was a failure to use a rollback where my engine would not be affected. This car has sentimental value to me and an oil pan is under $100, on a lift, you're looking at an hour or two. Maybe an oil pump off it was damaged. I'm not asking for anything more than fixing your mistake and stop lying to me to avoid your responsibility. I will rate 5 stars and leave a better review if you take care of this. This happened 6/27/2025, it's sad no one has responded to emails, multiple, or phone calls where the only one available is dispatch and can't connect me with someone who can help. 5:00pm give or available. Check your email, my contact info is there. And being veteran owned, I had higher expectations. Integrity is a huge core of all branches.

this place needs to be shut down! got my car towed and had to pay $400 to get it out, CASH ONLY and they DONT give receipts out. doesn’t that seem suspicious to you? it was driving really funny and then my whole rim and tire shot out and hit the city bus. when i called them the lady over the phone and rude and had a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. worse customer service ever. the other day i was driving around fayetteville and saw a twin state truck, they were speeding and whipping around corners with a BMW. no care in the world. so many people get damaged cars in return. we work hard for our stuff just for people like them to mess our stuff up and scam us.
Terrible company, called explained where it was. They were booked through my insurance. They were supposed to be out by 1, didn’t come out till 9, then said he couldn’t find the car and left. Driver was extremely rude, we went out and offered for him to trail us due to the car being less then 5 mins from home and he said we need to reopen our call due to him closing it out!
My car was towed from a hotel I've been staying for 2 weeks due to domestic violence situation. Came out this morning to car gone. Leaving me and my kids stranded in a county I don't know anybody. My hotel tag was on dash instead of hanging on window. Piece of crap business cost me $345 I didn't have. Oh and receptionist threw my drivers license back to me. Very shady and very unprofessional.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOU’RE SERVICE. I was charged $150 for them too hook up and take my car 5 miles away. I even had the car all ready for him to pick up. He got it done in no time, there was no reason to charge so high. Also very unprofessional.

The absolute worst experience I hope to never have AGAIN. They towed my car on the July 28th to their repair shop, did who knows what to it charged me almost 300 all together. They couldnt find a solution to my car’s problem so the claimed it as a recall issue and held the car until august 12th trying to get it to a real repair shop. To top EVERYTHING off when they took it to the Ford mechanic they just dropped it off w a note and didnt even talk to anyone explaining the situation or what they’ve done to my car. . . For 300$ and almost a month of having my car they’ve basically done absolutely nothing but rob and waste a single mothers time and money. Truly terrible experience hopefully they’re better w their other customers cause if not all they do is get over on people w out any reciepts.

I’ve never been warned by the property manager or anyone not to park at this location.after calling 911 this company didn’t even report my truck along with 4 other trucks being towed! After calling over 15 towing companies I finally found my truck! $1,150 , this is extortion at its best!! Completely unethical business practices!!! We are truly living in our last days when someone can just break into your truck and tow it at there own leisure! Drivers please be aware and this is coming from a retired veteran who abides by the laws!! And I could only pay with cash!! Money is the roots of all evil!! GOD don’t like ugly!
My mom's car was stolen Friday afternoon. An found in a ditch. Car was towed by this company Friday night. We called Saturday to get it out. An they told us we couldn't get till Monday morning. We then call Monday morning an was told it would be $400 to get out for the tow an storage fees EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T NEED IT STORED. THEY SAID WE HAD TO LEAVE IT THETE TILL MONDAY. Bunch of crooks who knew the car was stolen an they care nothing except money. Worst business I've ever ran across.

Absolutely fantastic pick up! We needed our truck moved to AAMCO from a difficult spot. He showed up with the right equipment and got it done quickly and efficiently. Very Professional.
I’m a AAA platinum member and this company was assign to tow my car, which had two flats, from my house to Discount Tire, not even 4 miles. I called AAA at 8:20am and within in a few minutes I received a text that a driver would pick up my vehicle at 10:20am. Within an hour I received a call from Renegade saying that the driver would be there at 11:45 to pick up my vehicle. I explained to her that I had an appointment to replace my tires at 11:30 and she then said that my car WILL be picked at 10:20. At 11:45, I received another call from them saying that the driver was running “a little behind” and would be there at 1:45. In my opinion, two hours is more than “a little.” 2:30 rolls around, and I received another call from Renegade saying that the driver was enroute and would be there at 3pm. I expressed to her that I’ve been waiting all day for someone to pick up my vehicle and missed my appointment because they kept pushing back the pick up time. All she said was that they’ve been busy today and one tow was outta the way. I called again at 3:45 because the driver still had yet to arrive and the lady finally said she’d call the driver and see where he was at. He finally arrived at 4pm and he was polite and professional. He did apologize for the very long delay and explain that there were only two drivers covering a large area from Fayetteville to Raleigh and they had a lot of calls today. If you have only two drivers covering such a large area, why not hire more drivers? I’m in no way blaming the driver, however, I feel as though the receptionists and the company as a whole, lack professionalism and communication skills. I would never would use this company for a tow again, especially if I was stranded somewhere.
Needed my car tow & Renegade did their thing after another towing company couldn’t. Robert made sure that Maxine was handled with care, expertise & professionalism. Thank you for having the proper things needed properly. 👏🏽👊🏽💪🏽🙏🏽
On the way back from Myrtle Beach my mom and I ran into car issues and had to pull over in Fayetteville, NC. Fortunately for us we are AAA premier members, so we immediately called them to assist with a tow back to Raleigh, NC. We were assigned Renegrade Towing as the preferred choice and had a terrible experience. They left us waiting for 5 hours (after pushing the time back multiple times) and didn’t show up until past midnight. As two women in a n unfamiliar place this was very unprofessional and we shouldn’t have had to wait that long. If they knew they could not fulfill this tow within a reasonable time frame they should not have accepted the job.
