My car broke down right off the freeway, so I google and called the closest towing company.. The service was amazing! they arrived quickly and kept me updated every step of the way. Once they got there, they were incredibly fast and professional, and took me straight to the car dealership. Everything went so smoothly during such a stressful and shocking moment. SD Towing has phenomenal. I had to tow a Tesla to the collision shop and Joseph was great, flexible & timely. He helped figure out a way to jump start the Tesla so we could put it in neutral. I want to start by sharing my review in regards to the towing company that assist me in having my car toad to my home I had a fantastic experience with this company. They arrived promptly, with no hidden fees—just a flat rate. The two young men, Kevin and Leo, were very experienced at what they were doing. I highly recommend them over any other towing companies, including Allstate, AAA, and others. The bonus was that they are brothers who work well together; they clearly know what they are doing. Everything was done it felt like under 15 minutes or less. Kevin and Leo were not only skilled but also very respectful and kind. I would recommend their services 10 out of 10. They were efficient and fast, yet very gentle while handling my car. Thank you again, Leo and Kevin! Keep up the good work.

A friend recommended this Towing Company . One of our box trucks started having engine trouble on the freeway around 2pm. We called Ledesmas spoke with Leo. He quoted over the phone $650.00. I asked him if they accepted credit cards. He replied via text “yes”. I gave them the green light to come tow the box truck. Their driver didn't show up until 5:20pm over 3 hours later. The driver seemed to have trouble hooking up our vehicle, he was messing with the driveshaft. He removed a couple of bolts saying he needed to loosen the driveshaft because he didn't have the keys. However, we had made it clear to Leo that The keys were in the lockbox. The truck didn't get to our shop which was less than 19 miles away for over an hour later arriving 7:30pm. Once the driver got to our shop Leo called and demanding payment. He was very rude. They added a hidden fee of 4% for the credit card. When we asked if they accepted credit cards they didn't mention a extra fee. When we questioned him he said either pay fee, or $650.00 cash or we will impound your truck. They basically bullied us to pay the fee. Worst experience ever. I asked Leo if that was they way he treated all his customers he said just pay and keep it moving...When we paid over the phone as soon as the card went through and was charged he said "ok your card went through split" and hung up. By fare the worst experience of customer service. Worst than the DMV!!

Fast, reliable, friendly, and affordable! I found myself stuck in the middle of a busy street during rush hour, feeling panicked. During the anxiety attack I was having, I decided to search for a towing company nearby and came across Tiger Towing. I had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Jose, who was incredibly helpful. Within minutes of sharing my location and destination, he texted me a quote and arrived to assist me in less than 10 minutes. He towed my car to my desired location without issues. Jose is the man! I had a rough situation my truck was stuck down a hill behind my apartment building.. 3 other tow guys shot me down after I sent them pictures of where my truck was. Jose scheduled a time with me, came by right on time, helped me push my truck to the corner, squeezed his truck down my super narrow alley and pulled my truck onto his trailer no problem. Towed it 20 minutes to my mechanic and then parallel parked it on the street with no power steering. Thank you Jose!

I bought a used car from Craigslist. It broke down and I was pretty bummed out. I found Citywide on Google and called. I was given a very fair quote for a tow home. Armondo was there quickly and he towed me home. He even got my car in the garage and offered to connect me to a mechanic. I highly recommend this service. Thank you Citywide!
I had a really awesome experience. I was a little panicked for it was my first tow. I called and the operator was very friendly. Gave me a base price, quote, and how much per mile they charge. They are very well priced. I got stuck around the 163. Driver was also the most down to earth dude on the planet. He didn't just tow my car, he made it into an awesome experience. Worst tow company ever. If you want to get ripped off, lied to, hung up on, and wait for a late tow truck you've found your company. Stay far away. They quoted me over $100 more than Wind 'N Sea. Plus Maria the dispatcher was rude and hung up on me.
The Towing team is a very reasonable Company. They work out a reasonable rate with you. Their services and employees is wonderful and very professional in what they do.

I can't thank Jose enough for his prompt and honest service! I was having a stressful day moving to my new home when one of my vehicles wouldn't start up! I called a bunch of companies for towing services and Jose was the only one to mention "let me try to start it before I tow it". When he arrived, he was so knowledgeable and got my car to start! I am so happy I trusted him. As long as I live in the area, I will call Jose for my towing related needs! 5 out of 5 stars from me!
Had to have my motorcycle towed today, was told to wait 45 mins to an hr. Cool, i call 20 mins through and they said they still havent sent the driver and to wait another 45 mins. Cool. Waited another half hour and i call again and they said the driver was responding to an accident and i would have to wait another hr. On top of that they charged way more than this other company i found which responded within 20 mins and didnt charge as much as these guys did. 110$ and 20 min wait vs 130$ and over almost 2 hr wait and constant reminders. No thanks.

Going two miles I get charged $100 and the driver gets lost and has to go around the block one more time
I just called the facility to ask the rates. I just got into an accident and need my car towed and the guy laughed and said “if it’s totaled we can just drag it”. This just happens not even 5 minutes ago
Best customer service I have ever received!!! They towed my car to the service department at a dealership and gave the keys to a service rep as I requested, but the dealership said they never received it! After calling the dealership three times, A & D Towing drove down to the dealership and found my car sitting in the lot unlocked, and with the key inside it! They went inside the dealership and pointed this out to the incompetent employees. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Whenever I need towing, I will always use and recommend A&D towing!
The car conked out right on the street in front of the mission. The tow truck was there promptly at 7 am, like I requested. Thank you so much for your excellent office staff also.
I chose them because they are literally 0 miles away from me. I called them the day before to make sure I would be on time for the appointment that I had at a very busy mechanic shop. I called them 3 times at the towing day. Every time when I caled someone else answered the phone and said they called the driver and he is gonna be at my location 20min, 10min, 5min and I'm here in the car waiting almost 2 hours still no one showed up. I think they are having fun. Missed my appointment now I have to wait another week to get my car fixed. Don't use them look else where.

I have no idea how to respond to the response from the tow company so I am editing this review at the end. This is a completely pathetic and unethical towing company. It said 45 minutes and made me cancel after 3 hours and with cancellation fees. It seems it is their strategy to get money through cancellation fees without doing anything. Never use their services. -response to the response from tow company below. It is entirely false that my car got towed by your towing company. I had to reschedule with another towing company called Pacific AuTow and they towed my car in 45 mins. Please fix your records. I was literally there for 3 hours.
In & Out Towing is the best towing company. I locked my keys in my Mercedes trunk and 2 in the morning and when i called around he was the only one that actually came out to help me. he opens the Mercedes door really fast. but to get in the trunk he had to take out the back seat to get the keys out. i really appreciated him for doing this, and he was very kind and nice. whenever i have car problems he will be the first person i call.
The driver greeted me with a smile and a reassuring demeanor, making me feel instantly at ease. Not only was he efficient and quick, but he also took the time to explain what needed to be done, all while showing genuine concern. Their welcoming and professional service turned a difficult day into a positive experience. Very much recommend!

Called for a quote to move a few motorcycles locally. Woman on the phone said $250 each motorcycle and each additional mile over 5 miles is an extra $10/mile each motorcycle. So a 12 mile tow for e motorcycles is $750 + $310 for a total of $1,160.... absolutely no chance I'm paying that, or anyone should. What difference is it 3 motorcycles or 1 car on the truck to charge $39 /mile. lol These people are out of their minds. What's hilarious is that these guys take motor club calls (AAA) for $1.50 / mile. The audacity of these guys.. they're delusional.

I’ve had several experiences with RB Towing that were unsatisfactory, but the straw that broke the camel’s back was my Subaru battery. The OEM battery failed last year and RB Towing came out for AAA. After analyzing the battery the technician suggested we needed a new battery. Ok, we did that. He had to go get the replacement battery but was quick and got it installed. The problems started soon after, but I didn’t connect the problems with the new battery until the car recently stopped restarting after its normal gas saving shutdown. The dealership said that the replacement was a 550 CCA but the car requires 750 CCA. So RB Towing could have easily upsold me the correct battery. As I said this is not my only negative experience, they also refused to tow my truck under AAA but with the same truck they charged me $500 to take it to Poway Road. I was in a bind, but still probably should have been smarter that time. In both instances I trusted RB Towing (and AAA) and they failed.
I had a flat tire and needed to be somewhere. Rancho Bernardo Towing got to my house incredibly fast and fixed the issue quickly. Most importantly, the technician was genuinely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have saved this company in my contacts for the next auto emergency.
Ahmed arrived promptly after AAA contacted them for me. He checked my battery and confirmed it was dead (cell at 4%) and needed replacement. The battery being under my mechanics warranty, I did not need him to replace the battery. Quick, transparent, polite. Perfect service.

We were locked out of our car and our son was in his car seat with the keys in hand. It was a controlled situation where our son’s life was not in danger, but I added in the notes that our son was in the car. Ahmad arrived sooner than expected and our son was out in no time. Tesla roadside assistance should not use this company. Period. Wrecked my tesla on their truck bed while they were driving because they didn’t secure it properly. Were difficult to deal with to pay for repairs. *Didn’t pay for full cost they agreed to.* Whole thing has been a complete nightmare from start to finish when they wrecked my car.
Pacific Auto Tow was dispatched via AAA for a flat. They put the spare on so I could make it to Discount Tire. Discount claimed one of the lugs had been rethreaded and was forced to break the stud to remove the tire. I discussed with the mgr and informed him the lugs came on/off with no problem and explained I believed the issue was the torque wrench the tech used. Discount turned me away taking no responsibility. Called Pacific Tow. Justin jumped past all the BS, ordered then installed the parts at no cost to me. Absolutely professional conflict resolution for a situation his company may/may not have even been responsible for. Very pleased. Thanks again Justin.
I needed a jump start in La Jolla. I called several services with some wanting as much as $275 for the service. Pacific Autow came through for me at a fraction of that price. Andy, the dispatcher, was responsive to my calls and texts. He had a very compassionate, friendly demeanor that put my stressed mind at ease. When Wissam, the driver, arrived, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and a fun guy to chat with while my battery was charging. The first thing he did was state what he understood the quoted price to be and if I was in agreement. No shadiness which is what I’ve encountered before with other roadside services so that was unexpectedly refreshing. He wasn’t interested in simply passing enough current for the car to start immediately. Although I imagine that he would have obliged if I wanted to just start and go I appreciated him not rushing the process as that saved some wear and tear on my alternator. He knows how to deliver stress-free, quality roadside service. I tried to tip Wissam and he politely refused twice, saying that me being respectful towards him was enough of a tip. Andy followed up with me afterwards to make sure that all was good to go. These two guys deserve plenty of respect. I highly recommend them for your roadside needs!
Contacted AAA for assistance and Paola from Pacific Autow Center showed up in a short amount of time. He was very professional and friendly and charged my dead battery, checked my car’s alternator, and even checked my tires. He did not attempt to hard sell me a new battery and instead suggested that I have my regular mechanic check my battery. I appreciated his honesty and work ethics.

We needed a tow for our SUV with a dead starter to the repair shop. This was a scheduled tow through AAA. Brandon was amazing. The tow truck driver refused to give me his name. I told him my two back tires were slashed multiple times. I've been a AAA member for a very long time and have never had problems with the tow truck drivers they send me. This man refused to tow me stating "if it fills up with air then theres nothing wrong with it and I'm not towing you" he filled it with air even tho I repeatedly told him they were slashed with a knife multiple times and would not make it to the shop. He proceeded to call whoever is at the front desk ( they wouldn't give me their name clearly or the drivers) the front desk person was super rude and hung up on me multiple times, threatened to cancel my AAA membership and refused to give me the tow truck drivers name. So not even 5 minutes after filling it up with air the tire was almost halfway flat again, how would I have been able to drive to the shop 20 mins away when it started getting flat after 5 mins of him filling it up with air. I managed to take a photo of his license plate and truck # even tho he absolutely refused to give me his name. After talking to the AAA operator about what happened she said "both back tires were slashed multiple times? Yeah you definitely need a tow they wont hold air". I love AAA, they have great customer service and support
I just watched an elderly Vet and his wife get scammed into a new battery for their car, even after my hubs solved their problem. Shame on yall for one, sending a child who couldnt put the jumper cables on properly, and two scamming people. Hubs got their car started after the kid intentionally put the cables on incorrectly, and was not happy to see another Vet fix it, and the kid still conned them into a new battery which he struggled to put in. AAA should dump yall. All that needed done was to clean the posts.
I’ve had years of Wind N Sea helping me and my sons with various car troubles. They’ve always been early, on time or on a rare occasion, the last person they helped took a little longer so they updated me. Last time I had a really scary blowout on the 10 freeway and they were there so quickly, handled it and I was on my way. This time I needed battery help, Alex Was so patient, on time and very helpful! Thank you guys!!!
Daniel was the best. Towed our truck a long distance, made sure we understood the pricing, and took care to park it super carefully in a tight driveway. He arrived early, was super helpful and communicative on what was otherwise a terrible afternoon.

It's great fast and affordable towing services in San Diego
It's never fun when you start out your week (a Monday) you get to work and there's no parking and you have to go to another lot that's 2x the distance you normally have to walk and you have less time to get to your office and start work on time, only to find when you finally get to your office, you don't have your keys with you. Where are your keys? In the truck locked up of course. Coastal Pride Towing (CPT) though saved the day for me when they arrived on the scene after my long day at work to open my truck for me. It was quick and painless! Thanks CPT for your great service when I was in a pinch!
Transmission went out on my Mustang. They showed up fast and loaded on their flatbed truck. Dropped it off at the repair shop and was extremely helpful. I have not had to use a lot of tow trucks but it was a great experience and would recommend these guys to anyone in a bind.
My car was towed and I looked for my cell phone and my headphones days before using the locator and they were on their property and when they went to get my car, my cell phone and my headphones were not there and neither were other Beats headphones, everything I paid for and they still stole from me.

Had Porsche of San Diego arrange my car to be dropped off in LA. Star Towing shows up at my house with my car in perfect condition, wheels tied the proper way to not damage the wheels. Kader the driver was very professional, on time and babied my car. He definitely knows how to transport high end, low clearance cars. He even guided me into my driveway for thefirst time. A true professional!
Wish I could leave 0 stars. They unlawfully towed a vehicle that was on private property where a handful of either vehicles were parked as well. Eventually followed up with the owner of the vehicle about what was happening since I frequent the area and see them from time to time along with their neighbors who always park in the same spot without any previous issues. Was told that this towing company's female receptionist was rude when the owner while retrieving their car. Definitely going to be keeping am eye for these guys
Updated your reply!! Your reply is total lie as my car was towed at 8:30 on a weekend. I know gym closes at 8 during weekends but there a huge sign in front on drivers empty heads says no OVERNIGHT parking. Apparently you don’t even keep good track of records. My car was towed from LA fitness parking garage. The car was literally just towed when I found out. I called this people and they called the driver. They said, the driver says the managers at LA Fitness requested the car to be towed which is completely a lie to cover up their mistake. I will definitely file a small case law suit as my car is a business car and due to this I couldn’t make it to my customers. Btw, I talked to LA Fitness manager and said we do not ask to two cars. He called you infront of me to tell you to stop towing cars from their garage.
These guys are the worst tow company around they towed my car and stole about $600 dollars of tool and on top of that they price gouged the hell out of me they wanted $500 buck to tow a carc 2 miles and the he she at the front desk is rude and super disrespectful I highly recommend you do not use there thrives to tow any of your cars and they also left a huge scratch down the side of my truck there earring speaks for it self I would be zero stars if it could be. I wish this company the worst in the future they earned it. Star towing you suck.
I was in the wrong when I parked my car but when I went to pick it up it was fast and easy, wish it cost a bit less but I shouldn't have parked there anyways. Could've been worse.

Kind of a slow process but as for maintaining your vehicle safety no issues. They charge a high daily cost if you have a large vehicle.
Towed car with me in it. I'm in the emergency as we speak. Driver had myself and friend tossed around while we were on a carnival ride to the dealership. Isn't there a vehicle code regarding towing with passengers in it.

DISHONEST; AVOID AT ALL COST: A few months ago, AAA dispatched Angelo's Towing to replace my battery, which was still under warranty. Upon arrival, the driver told me that their company doesn't honor AAA warranties and attempted to collect $115 for a new battery. I told him to kick rocks and called AAA back. They confirmed that the battery WAS under warranty, that I would owe nothing and that they were sending someone else. Wind n Sea towing arrived about an hour later with a brand new, free battery. Angelo's attempted to scam me. Avoid at all costs.

Id give them a zero stars! Absolutely horrible service! Not sire why they are even a part with AAA they should be dropped from BBB too! Not only did they not tow my car they wasted my whole day and had to walk home. Absolute trash! Do yourself a favor and call or request a tow company that cares!

My car got towed by this company accidently. Accidents happen, but when I called Cortes to explain that I believed that my car was towed by accident the person on the phone would not listen to what I had to say and insisted that they did not tow my car and that it could not happen. There are many more details to this story but I don't think everyone wants to read a book. Bottom line is I called Cortez several times and finally got the answer that they did tow my car accidentally. I left a message with the company to speak with a manager and the manager never called me back. I hope this message get's out to everyone and that no one uses this company. Extremely unprofessional and can't even bother to call me back to apologize and hear what happened.
Cortes towing stole my vehicle once i refused to sell the car to them. There driver who is my neighbor asked to buy my vehicle when he was told not for sale he reported the car abandoned to CVPD who ticketed my vehicle. Cortes towing then picked up my vehicle charging $278 just to hook my vehicle claiming it took 1 and half hour's to do so. Don't trust Cortes towing they are thieves.
Two bad experiences with this towing company now, so to me that means it's time to write a review. A few years back I had a new car and I was a teenager. My battery died mysteriously so we called Cortez towing to jump it. They came and jumped it, but the guy suggested that I must have done something stupid like leave the lights on to make the battery die because I was a teenager. He told my dad basically that teenagers do stuff like that all the time. I hadn't left the lights on, my car automatically turns them off. I literally couldn't leave them on if I wanted to. We ended up getting the battery checked out and it was a faulty battery. Had nothing to do with me being a teenager, thanks. Now it's several years later and my dad's truck died for a second time in a week on Coronado. We live in Imperial Beach. My dad called at 8 am to see about getting his truck towed to IB. They said it would be $70 and that they'd be there within 2 hours. 2 and a half hours later he hasn't heard from them. Finally he called them back. The original person he spoke to is on her lunch break. They say now that it will be $150. What? So not only were they not communicative, they were late, and then suddenly the price doubles. If I have one bad experience with a company I usually let it slide. Everyone makes mistakes, things happen. But this is two crappy experiences with Cortez now. We are definitely never using them again.

Nothing against this company at all, however the worker at the towing place was just horrible. I believe her name was Bree, she had red hair and was heavy set. She was the most angry, vile worker I’ve had the displeasure of talking to. She made the experience of getting my car back so uncomfortable as she seemed visibly annoyed or angry from the moment I got there. Not sure what’s wrong with her but she was rushing me for no reason and was rude to my friend. So, if you ever get towed by ASAP towing, I pray for you that you don’t have to deal with Bree, hoping she gets better!!
If I could put a Minus star - I would - They towed my 30 foot boat trailer AND BENT THE FRONT TONGUE ! I have it all on video. The driver didn't lift the front post high enough and was struck in transit, bending the front of trailer by a good 10 degrees or more. You can even hear the scrapping of it as they pulled it forward on the video. I called and called to have been put on hold longer that an getting ahold of someone at the IRS. I expect to get the run around looking at the reviews. I am sure that small claims judges will consider the reviews testimonial of peoples experiences. I hope they make an effort to make this right. But judging off peoples experiences in these reviews - it doesn't look promising that they will.
HORRIBLE experience, HORRIBLE customer service. I pray to god I never have to use them for any services ever again. How they got a geico contract I will never understand. I decided to call and get an ETA after an hour passes from the original ETA, ASAP tells me 20 minutes. I call back 40 minutes later, he says 15 minutes, I call back 30 minutes later and he says 15 minutes again. I call back another have hour later he says he’s almost there. Finally, after 3.5 hours of waiting in my car on the side of the road, the driver shows up. He hooks up my car, fine. Then I get a call from the mechanic saying the driver dropped the car, which doesn’t start, in the parking lot of the business next door. Doesn’t even drop the car at the correct location. All around horrible experience. Wouldn’t wish these guys on my worst enemy.
Referred through Geico to ASAP towing. I'd highly recommended to find another tow company. They towed my vehicle after my hybrid battery died. They apparently hitched their tow equipment to my tire rods and ended up bending them and causing my car to go out of alignment. So unless you want you car damaged find some other tow company . Now not only did I pay $165 for a tow, I had to pay another $550 to fix my alignment and tire rods. I attempted to reconcile with ASAP for the damage and Sasha in the damaged claim department said she would get back to me, however it's been 3 business days with no follow up. Very disappointed, and will be taking whatever I action I can to get this rectified.
I’ll never forget when this company towed my AWD golf R on 2 wheels and completely fried the gear box. They lied and told me they used Dollys to tow it but I had it all on dashcam of them towing my car on 2 wheels while smoke came from the rear end. Insurance covered their negligence luckily but the tow company was completely unprofessional and pulled out every lie to try and get out of it
