WORST COMPANY!!!! I called to get a car towed less than 1 mile!!!!! He came, and stated the truck he brought wouldnt fit my Yaris, so he needed to call a flatbed?!!!! while he called, they weren't communicative, i was waiting for over an hour when they said 10 mins. i talked to the first one and ask why he couldn't tow my tiny Yaris with his wheel lift truck, they stated their manager wont be there for a few weeks to discuss it with him!!! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! i called to complain and they said well they will forward my info to a manager but he might not get back to me and might not really do anything since people are normally upset with tow truck drivers!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!!
Cesar helped me out, I was stuck in the middle of the toll road on a summer day and Cesar was amazing. He came on time and was respectful and professional across the board. Waited 3.5 hours for a tow that never came with children in the car. I had to call multiple times, with no calls in return during my wait. When I inevitably called to cancel, the individual on the other end of the line just started shouting into the phone. They have attempted to charge me for cancellation, which I will be contesting. Under no circumstances should you use this business. I believe they wait an inordinate amount of time to purposely rack up cancellation fees. Customer service is unprofessional, to say the least. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau and advising them of this incident. I ended up using their competition who was punctual and respectful; I highly suggest you do the same.

I call for my emergency towing when my car has a flat tire since I saw they have great review. However, they charge me $220 for 4 miles to my dealership and if I cancel on their service they will charge me for $49. I have to wait for the tow truck for 1 hour when the location between my car and the tow company is only 2 miles away. Furthermore, I have to pay in cash since their credit card system is broke down. Worst place ever!!!
Imagine breaking down at night on the side of a busy highway and having someone show up calm, collected, and kind. That was my experience. Seriously grateful for this team.
Had high hopes when quoted by staff but the tow driver who unlocked my daughter’s car door charged the max price range ‘based on how long and complex the job’. The job took less than two minutes... what is their ID for a ‘complex’ job if this was the max price quoted? When I callled the office back, they said the fee is up to the tow driver. Then why quote a price range and not honor it? Just quote the high rate, period. Do you really you have to take advantage of a young girl struggling to make it? Tow driver, would you like it if someone did this to your daughter???? Do NOT call this company if you want honest reliable treatment.

Mike (the owner) and all of his employees are so caring, helpful and HONEST! They will fix whatever needs done, not plus a hundred other things to up the bill. If they do find something else, they will let you know BEFORE they do it and give you options. I've been going here for a while now and made the mistake of going somewhere else and oh, did I regret it. Had to bring it back here anyway. Mike's is the only place I'll bring my vehicle. They really do go above and beyond for their customers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Had a flat tire on the Wilbur Cross Parkway and Mikes towing arrived promptly and quickly got us towed to a Town Fair Tire. The driver was extremely friendly and helpful in solving our plight. Great guy; highly recommended.
Amazing bunch of incredible humans ❤🙌! My daughter was in a horrible car accident on the Merritt and totaled her car. Mike's was right there and so very helpful in the middle of all the chaos that night. Their only concern was for my daughter's safety at that moment. Terrible Communication and they do not own up to their own mistakes. They had a Overload vehicle Driving Down the 210 Freeway Around 4Am - Throwing multiple rocks off the load hitting my windshield now it is cracked and i can't imagine how many more cars got hit too i was behind the 7ft distance i called the company and showed proof of vehicle and license plate And showed the Crack on my windshield And They ignored me ever since i showed them proof and keep saying a HR will call which never happenes I would understand if their vehicle said we do not cover windshield cracks like other businesses but they don't. i had a guy come out and looked at my windshield he said it needs to be replaced. because the crack has spreaded since the accident. very unprofessional of this company They couldn't solve or go half on a problem they caused.

Girl forgot to give me back my ID. Yard dog was on top of me when I was getting my personal belongings from my crashed truck. Never again!!!
The owner saved the day and wouldn't even accept a tip. Penske roadside person was obstinate for us and the poor towing company. We need a replacement car carrier asap to finish our move to San Francisco. The poor driver was locked out of the first penske location because they didn't leave a key. Penske rep was verbally abusive to us and the towing company. The owner stopped post vacation and helped us get the car and set everything up, including giving us driving tips as we had the 26-foot Penske, which is a semi. Amazing man, he saved the day and put our minds at ease as we headed for the Grapevine. I can't thank him enough. During an extremely stressful time, he really added comfort and guidance. Thank you, sir!!! May your business proper!!!

Only problem I had was that it was far from my house, but they helped me sort out my fees and I was able to get the stuff in my truck and insurance picked it up for me.

California private property towing laws, contained in Section 22658 of the Vehicle Code, set out specific rules for property owners that limit the circumstances under which they can call a tow truck to remove a vehicle. One of the most important requirements is that they notify the vehicle owner before towing their vehicle. That can take a few different forms, such as: “NO PARKING” signs: The signs must be in plain view, at least 17 inches by 22 inches, and posted in plain view at all entrances. The signs must also include the name and number of the towing company that the property owner has an agreement with, along with the number for the local traffic law enforcement agency. Notice of parking violation: If the vehicle has been issued a violation notice, the property owner can tow the vehicle after 96 hours. Inoperable vehicles: If the vehicle is missing an engine, a transmission, wheels, tires, a windshield, or anything that would make it impossible (or illegal) to operate on a public road, the property owner can tow the vehicle if they first notify local law enforcement and wait 24 hours. If your vehicle is towed by a property owner who fails to comply with any of these requirements, they’re legally responsible for double the towing and storage fees for the vehicle. Called this tow company for information and the girl that answered is extremely unprofessional and rude. I will file a claim because I'm sure they are in violation of a couple of laws. My truck was towed within 30 min of arriving regarding there supposed laws, CA laws are what they should be abiding by. Will figure this out on court since I have nothing better to do right now. How can any experience be more than a two star. Were they courteous. Yes absolutely in person and over the phone absolutely. Does that change the negative impact this had on on my finances. Was it my fault. 75 percent yes. Does that realistically make a difference .No it doesn't. They are quick and I was able to get car out fast. I hope you never have to use their service. To be clear I have only used their impound service. I do not know if they offer roadside assistance.
I had a very disappointing experience with Southside Towing. When I picked up my car, it was covered in dirty water and stains because they were washing other cars nearby without any protection. Even worse, I found visible damage on my rear bumper that was not there before. They charged a high fee but clearly did not handle my vehicle with care or responsibility. This is completely unprofessional.
My coworker and I had met up on our normal spot (past 3 years) to commute to Los Angeles . After a very long day and very long commute back to the meet spot, come to find out that my coworkers car had been taken ! I went in a Carl's and they mention that the tow truck company comes in and asks if that's a employee car. We get to the office and not only they give my buddy a hard time for paperwork although he has a key but they say the property "complain" . I call bs man. And no warning no towing enforced signs . Pure entrapment and highway robbery to pay $425 . I'd understand if there's signage like the one I'll upload but all there was were 'loitering" which states nothing about towing or parking. Do the right thing Southside and place signs and not rob hard working people . Yall charge a 95 for a day storage when the car had only been there for 3 hours. Good old America just looking for a way to take people to the cleaners !
Predatory Tow – 101 N Manchester Ave Southside Towing towed my disabled Infiniti from visitor parking at 3971 W Orange Ave, Anaheim at 12:25 a.m. on 8/13/25 — even though I had a valid permit from management. Their own website claims their permits “avoid towing tenants and vendors that are authorized to be parked on your property.” I was an authorized visitor, yet they still took it and now charge $83/day storage. Refused to give me the required signed tow authorization. Know your rights before you park — their marketing doesn’t match their actions.
