I have had to use S&R towing twice now, and both times the drivers were very nice! Both times I’ve had 75 minute estimates, and they came about 20-30 minutes early, and their service was fast and friendly! My most recent experience was with Willy, and he was nice and pretty funny! He even gave me some advice about how to avoid my situation in the future!
Jerry was super friendly and very helpful. He handled my car well and the tow went great. Very glad my AAA call got assigned to this company.
I had a car towed by them and they towed it fine. However, they damaged holes in frame for my car and I showed them photos and I spoke with them about it and they said they would follow up with me about it and they never did. I reached out once again and was left on hold/transfer line. They car was damaged and I was just expecting them to prvoide some sort of compesation due the damage of my car frame. The holes were worped and will be unsafe to use those holes if my car ever needs to be towed again. Be careful always check the condition of your car before and after a tow with S&R.
This is a long review, but I need to share this in case any other service member or civilian ends up dealing with this company. SR Towing has shown some of the most money-hungry, predatory, and questionable business practices I have ever experienced. My fully paid-off vehicle was towed on Tuesday (For expired registration that I was going to get the day my car was towed, I just got to California 2 weeks prior to this incident) August 26, 2025, at 12:53 PM and released on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 3:30 PM (roughly 74 hours) yet they charged me for four full days of storage. From the start, the pricing was erratic and unreasonable. It began at $450 and jumped to $660 within two hours (so i started screenshotting the price changes). By Wednesday it was $760, Thursday $860. When I went in to pick up an itemized invoice at $860, it gave me almost no real breakdown and showed they were charging CHP rates even though my tow was done by base police on a two-way street, not a highway. By Friday morning, the cost ballooned to $1,030. When I called to address discrepancies, I was met with attitude and hostility from Jody for merely pointing out that the price had jumped almost $200 overnight. When I requested another itemized invoice, they refused but conveniently dropped the price to $816 without explanation. On top of that, they placed a lien on my car that morning without notifying me, which violates California state requirements for prior notice. My car is fully paid off and solely owned by me, yet they acted as if they had the right to claim it as their own. The way they handled my title was particularly concerning. When I asked if they could work with me to pay the $760 balance, they suggested giving them my title, implying this would let me get my car back. When I called for clarification, I was told surrendering my title meant forfeiting my vehicle entirely. I declined, yet they repeatedly asked about my title after that. Jody and Kristy were consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout BUT claimed they were trying to help me -_- They only applied a military discount after I mentioned my service status rather than offering it upfront when they clearly towed me from camp Pendleton they said "every person on a military base isn't military" but a professional company would have at least asked, and every request for transparency was treated like an inconvenience. In the end, I paid $816 in tow and storage fees, plus $1,307 in registration just to retrieve my own car. The entire experience reflects a pattern of money-hungry, predatory pricing, lack of communication, and deliberate withholding of crucial information while pressuring me to surrender my vehicle. I have photos with timestamps and their rates to show their inconsistent billing. Judging by previous reviews and conversations with fellow service members, I am not the first or last to experience this. I would never recommend this place to anyone. STEER CLEAR. If I could give negative 100 stars, I would.
Great service! My vehicle lost all power while I was driving and I couldn't roll the windows up or down start the car or do anything. S&R got to us quickly, got our car on the truck quickly and Our driver took time to help us get our windows up. Our insurance company said it could take up to an hour for them just to arrive but S&R got us to our mechanic, windows up and unloaded in less than 45 minutes. Old fashioned caring and helpfulness you just don't see today. I would definitely recommend them!

Great service they were able to tow our Plumbing Van that broke down in Oceanside and Tow it to our Mechanic in Escondido. All in a very professional matter and quick to response. I would defiantly recommend.
Small, family-owned shop ran by 3 brothers (Leo, David, and Tino). Been coming here for years for small stuff like oil changes to more complicated jobs on both my car and truck. Always up-front with their estimates. Very satisfied with their work.

Best towing company I've ever went through the service is great!!! The tow operator Gonzalo was very professional, on time so much more I can say, try them out of you ever need a tow💯❤️
Said he would be there in an hour and rightfully did. Communicated with my dad and I that he would send photos and info as to where he would drop my car off at the dealership. About 45-1 hour I received photos as to where my car was parked. 10/10 recommend.

First off before I called this tow truck company the night before when my car was stuck on the freeway I had to call different company and I pretty much got ripped off the price was outrageous but I was stuck on the freeway with no other choice anyways when I called this tow company the driver was very aware of these tow companies that take down your information and never show up and just rip you off with a huge bill we need more people like this company I really forgot to ask the guy his name but he was very kind and very knowledgeable about the area give me a little 411 on which tow companies are real and which are not other than that he was very nice very friendly we got to the destination a good time I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area they don't go outside of ocean side as I remember but definitely call this place in a very reasonable price thank you for taking the time to read my review 😎

I had an excellent experience with Tim from NK Towing. He arrived quickly, was very friendly, and handled everything with safety and professionalism. He made the flat tire process smooth and stress-free, and I really appreciate how hard he worked to take care of both me and my car. Richie is great, so helpful and honest- everything you’d hope for in someone that comes to help when you’re having car troubles. I was having issues with my car alarm and because of that, my car wouldn’t start. Richie gave me some really helpful advice that also ended up saving me money and I am beyond grateful for his compassionate, generous nature, and of course for his knowledge and understanding of my situation. When you’re already distressed stemming from issues with your vehicle, the last thing you need is a rude person that’s supposed to be helping you but rather adds to your distress. I am happy to say he was the opposite of that. NK Towing is already great in my book for recognizing how valuable of an employee they have in Richie. It is one of the tow service companies provided through AAA’s roadside assistance and I will also be letting AAA know that this company provided me with excellent service. Next time you need a tow, ask for Richie! You won’t be disappointed!

Bad customer service, I was hung up on because I was trying to find an address for pick up on a military base ( there are no addresses just building numbers ) she became impatient and hung up on me after she raised her voice. She might have been having a bad day, bless her heart. The tow truck service was the only reason I gave an okay rating.
Show up on time clean professional do job very well I high recommend to used their service.
Fast &simple
So we spent about an hour and a half doing our best to get our buddies car out of his garage in Vista, but to no avail, it didn't work. 24 hr towing Oceanside was the only one that answered the phone and said they had multiple trucks out and would swing by to help tow the car out and get it on their truck so we could get it over to our other friends house in Carlsbad to his garage so we could work on the engine.. Thanks again guys! Life savers..

Driver tried to intimidate me and my camera in the rear showed less than two feet behind me from a large flatbed tow truck for three stoplights. Very nice customer service on the phone. Reading the reviews I wonder if it will be resolved
I called AAA and they dispatched Angelo's Towing of Oceanside to haul my vehicle from an impound yard to my home. The impound place told me they'd take 2 hours to get there...Angelo's Towing was there in 20 minutes and got me and my vehicle back home in less than an hour from the time I called. Gorge the tow truck driver was awesome. He even rolled the car into my garage with his flatbed. Very skilled and professional. Afterwards I received a courtesy call from their Manager Rey to find out how the service was and I replied "excellent". Thank you Angelo's of o'side and AAA for referring you to me.
Contacted them through AAA for a tow and was never contacted by a member, for any updates. Was dropped for another contactor to pick up, and was never notified of that EITHER. Terrible service, garbage communication. Would have been disastrous if I was in a dangerous situation. Do not recommend using this company.
Angelo’s towing company does not care about its community or the rules of the road. exiting the freeway in a two lane right turn one of their trucks merged into my turning lane while both of us are attempting to make a right turn, nearly creating an accident. Upset at the driver I motion to him and honk showing him he’s made a mistake. Instead of gesturing he is sorry about his mistake he continues to mock me while we drive down the same road for about a mile or so. The people that Angelo’s towing company hire have no care for fellow drivers on the road.
USIF is the man A driver by the name of “Usif” restored my faith in people. I was being difficult & this man was extremely professional & patient. He made me feel at ease & then saved the day with his hard work. I am a forever customer becuase of him. “Get this man a raise” -Black Panther.

These people are extremely rude, and strategic with their towing. They won't even let you have your stuff back, and they take your car on days they know you can't do anything like weekends and holidays.
