Johnathan RUNS this place he saved my life. in the bad part of oakland for some side mission i decided to do and got myself stuck. he came to my rescue but more importantly was super friendly and didnt make me feel too stupid for my stupid mistake. pic attached is how i started out and johnathan got me to a shop in castro valley smoothly and safely with real care! also a tow didnt break my bank!
10-4 Towing was easy to work with and very responsive. The crew was quick and professional. Took their time to ensure my car didn't drag. I'll be using them again.
I had an amazing experience with Jonathan at 10-4 Towing of Oakland. I originally called for a tow and was quoted a price that was unfortunately out of my budget. But the representative was super understanding and asked me what I could afford. Within seconds, they found a technician willing to work within my budget! They let me know the wait time might be 60–90 minutes, which I was totally fine with but to my surprise, Jonathan called less than 10 minutes later and said he was already on the way and would be there in 15 minutes. He arrived quickly, was incredibly professional, and even went above and beyond by diagnosing what was wrong with my car on the spot. Not only that he helped me park my car in a tight, narrow driveway like a pro. Affordable, fast, honest, and helpful. I definitely recommend Jonathan and 10-4 Towing if you ever need assistance in Oakland!

I drove a U-Haul from Portland to Oakland to drop my son off college. I have no experience ever driving a vehicle behind my truck. When i reached the hotel, the entry was sized for a car and the ladies in front desk said I have to come through that little one. I forgot to turn wide and stopped just before knocking off their ticket vending system. I was scared and exhausted after a 14 hr drive. Called 3 companies, and only EB called me right back in 5 mins. They send mosses to the rescue. He was a godsend. He didn't understand why we called him, since he saw nothing wrong LOL. I told him i need this parked inside the parking lot, and also help remove my vehicle from the vehicle carrier. He was very experienced and completed literally no more than 30-45m. Then he parked the truck and trailer along the side and gave the keys back. So i don't have to backup and struggle the next morning. I could not thank EB and mosses for the timely help. I joke saying he came and split the ocean and let the truck and car through!!! I would recommend EB to anyone without a blink.
I couldn't get my keys to turn in my ignition and was going to have EB Towing take it to the repair shop but when they got here they took at my car and determined the ignition needed to be replaced, they replaced it for me and everything is working perfectly!! Thank you guys so much!
Guy from EB Towing was nothing short of amazing! He had to get my car out of a garage in a really tight spot, and he did it effortlessly. Unfortunately my insurance people didn't tell him the car was in a garage or that I couldn't get it out of park, however, he had the car up on this truck and out of my garage quickly. Amazing and would definitely recommend these guys. I'm keeping them on my list to call again if I ever need them. Hopefully I won't though! Thanks, GUY!!!
Service provider was professional, speedy, and made the overall experience painless. $155 did seem a little pricy but then again I have no base idea of what the cost should be for a car towed a few miles, that being said I would still rate the company a 4.5 out 5 stars overall for their professionalism and sincere care of their customers experience.
Tow was timely and reasonably priced. No issues with the service. However they have berated me with text messages ever since using them, asking to post a review and receive a $10 Amazon gift card. There is no way to opt out of the messages and the number they text from doesn't receive calls back. This is very annoying and I would like them to stop, hence this review.

Excellent work by Angel, my car hard died and he arrived in less than 30 minutes, on a Saturday night no less. He had all the necessary tools and equipment to pull up a lowered car on to his flatbed. 5 stars 10/10 service.
Angel got to me in less than an hour. He was super nice and took the utmost care when loading up my Corvette. He even had ramps to make sure the bottom of my car wouldn't scrape on anything. I would highly recommend S&F Towing to anyone, fantastic service!

After having a AAA contracted tower decline to tow my low profile car from an angled driveway and another private company leave me hanging, my reach out to S&F resulted in a positive assertion that they could move my car from provided photos. Worst company ever, they gave me attitude I waited like 4hrs. Do not use this company
While I didn't use their towing services, I had a positive experience dealing with them. The quality of customer service can provide a reliable indicator of the value of a business. And they were 5-stars in my book. They were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They also provided clear information about their services and made sure I was comfortable with the process.
United Towing picked up one of our fleet vehicles after an accident. They arrived quickly and were very professional.
I called my car insurance for a tow service, the insurance ordered a company, which I waited for more than 1 hour and found out that the tow truck broke down. Called the insurance again and was told they have ordered another one. It was united Towing, I called them to ask if they can make it sooner, the person who answer the phone, sorry, can not remember his name, was very understanding, and told me he will ensure that a tow truck will pick up my car in 15 minutes. Sure enough, Hector arrived in 15 j minutes..What a relief, he Was very professional and in a blink my car was towed. Thank you Hector, keep up the awesome job! My insurance company contacted this company to come and give me a toe. My insurance company is explain to them. What was going on with my car meaning? I have two flats, one in the front and one in the back. The arrival time for this company was ten 10:44 am i had to contact this company. At 11 am to see where they were the lady on the phone told me, oh, we're running 20 minutes behind at 11:11am she calls me and tells me oh, your car needs a flatbed. My response was did my insurance company put that in the notes? Her response was yes, but we overlooked it. My response was, I already been waiting for you guys for 2 hours. Her response was, oh, I'm sorry. It's gonna be a whole additional hour because he's in Hayward, right now. How do you look over? And don't see that the car need a flatbed. as a towing company, isn't this? What you guys do read and see what type of towing. Vehicle a car would need she replied with. I'm just sorry. Do you want us to continue holding your spot for your toe? Or do you want us to cancel it? I told her to cancel it. I don't want to deal with your company. I already been waiting for you for 2 hours. You want me to wait an additional hour on top of that? She didn't even cancel it. Because the driver called me and I would have been waiting hours for that tow. If I would have waited for this company, this is crazy. Horrible customer service

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I was told by Randy one of the employees that in order for my loved one to pick up my car I needed to send a copy of the notarized document giving authorization. I’m in another country. I get the document and the policy changes upon arrival when the “owner” changes says we need the original document. He tells me overnight a document that originally he told me to send a copy. Liar. Fraud. Cheat The worst service. Hoping the BBB and policy shut this place down for the fraudulent treatment of customers. 100% scam.

Sold my sister a straight lemon. She only had her car a week. So sad, people work hard for their money. She a single mom she really needed a good working car. Now she back on the bus. Have integrity and empathy for people. GOD don’t like ugly.
This company is very unprofessional and rude. My car was towed and damaged due to the tow truck. When reporting the damages the owner hangs up in my face and tells me to use my insurance to get the car fixed and continues to be disrespectful. My car was in the tow Yard for less than. Now the bottom part of my car is exposed and can be damaged from things that are on the road and fly underneath! I asked them about how can they fix it and they completely removed the entire bottom part of my plastic protector. They refused to send me the pictures of my car before The damages Occurred! Very upsetting to have to go through all of this.
If I could rate this company 0 stars I would!!! Actually I would rate this tow company NEGATIVE 5 STARS!!!!!! They are rude, and 100% unprofessional!! This tow company is a complete joke!!! I was in a accident and the highway patrol called them to come tow my SUV and the guy who came to tow my vehicle did more damage to my vehicle then the accident that I was in did!!! And on top of them doing some serious body damage to my SUV, they went inside my vehicle and STOLE my stuff that I had in the back. If you need a tow I would not use these guys ok go somewhere else! Please!!!!

They tow “STOLEN VEHICLES” for the city of Oakland and then hold those vehicles hostage from the victim. Period. And if you can’t afford the exorbitant rates ($260.00 per 1/2 hour tow-$100 per day storage) they are more than “willing” to keep your car instead to cover the costs. Basically your car is stolen a second time and held for money. Add to that the Oakland Police Department actually sanctions this legal criminal behaviour. I would NEVER get my vehicle fixed here knowing this is how they treat victims of theft. Period. I live in SF. We are fortunate to have a Police Department that doesn’t victimise people a second time. Since SF has proven it’s possible to do that maybe the city of Oakland and Auto Plus should look into ways to respect our communities. In the meantime stay away from this place unless you are forced to deal with them. Paying them to perform car any repairs is like paying drug cartels to rehab you. It’s a sham. Period
This place will rob you. My vehicle was stolen and when Oakland PD found it they had it towed here. I was excited that it was recovered, but when I called Auto Plus I was told I had to pay 450.00 to get it out. Then my father called back 20 min later and he was told we had to pay 560.00 and its 100.00 more everyday it's in there. How it went from 450.00 to 560.00 in 20 min. is highway robbery. I called oakland pd and I was told that the tow company may not know that the vehicle was stolen that's why, so I called back and informed them that it was stolen and they really didn't care stolen or not in order to get my vehicle i need to come up with almost 1000.00 (this was a few days from the initial call) For a vehicle that was stolen from me something out of my control. Customer service sucks very rude. I don't know how a company can rob innocent people like that.
Car got hit while parked, had to go to OPD first to pay 166.00 for a release before going here to have my insurance company have thier tow company pick up my vehicle. They keep the cars right next to the flea market. But the office is around the corner. The staff is cool.
Customer service is terrible and fees are way too expensive. I was told that I would get a discount on the towing fees but there was no discount. I paid a total of 476 for the first day my car was in the yard. I came back in my car to find black stains on my seats and interior door. Absolutely hated my experience
Vehicle was stolen, this tow yard picked it up as per their contract with the city of Oakland. The call I got from Oakland pd stated that it was damaged, but not stripped and the plates were still intact. Do these photos look like it's not stripped?!? This is the condition off it when I got there the day after they picked it up of the streets Had I realized that the message from Oakland pd said that it WASN'T stripped I'd have had some questions for them. I'd love to have heard they're excuses as they fumbled around trying to explain what they did. This place steals vehicles, dismantles them pre-emptively, and has unreal prices for towing and vehicle storage. They should be shut down.

I scheduled my car's pickup through state farm, made the payment and I got a confirmation that the car was gonna be picked within 45-75 minutes after I placed the request 2 hours later I called blue star spoke to John which was extremely unprofessional,rude and negligent he made all sorts of excuses from traffic to a " it doesn't matter,the mechanic shop you are trying to take your car to is already closed". I made special arrangements with the shop to drop off my car around or no later than 4:30pm and the tow truck pick up was scheduled for 3:00pm , this individual "Jhon" said the truck should arrive in 15 minutes,I waited for another hour and called them again and he said that the truck driver called me and I didn't answer and he left , no call was ever made I waited outside my house and no one showed up,when I told John about it he said " doesn't matter we cancelled the request" the level of unprofessionalism of this company is just unreal, another level of negligence and careless I can't believe this company still in service. If you are reading this under any circumstances don't ever use this company,you have been warned.
I normally don’t write reviews but this is one of the worst experiences ever. I get it the drivers are just dispatched to places but I had an appt for my car to get towed and specifically stated that my car could not change gears nor go into neutral. A guy came tried to use his flat bed. Was unable to and then sent someone else. That person NEVER came. I called to reschedule for the following day and still NOTHING. And of course I went through my max care insurance.
Like so many other customers, I ended up having to deal with this company because of USAA being my insurance company. If you ever see these guys show up in the app, immediately call back and cancel. Like the other people have said they kept lying to me and telling me “the driver will be there in 30mins” and didn’t show up for 4.5hrs. After they stopped answering my calls, I escalated it up at USAA and suddenly, the tow driver showed up.
Sat waiting for almost 3 hours. Every time I called the place unapologetically said it would be another hour. They would give a text “update” for a time of arrival and then just blow past it without any new update provided. I finally had to reach out to another provider. They never showed. Don’t use them if you actually want help.
3 hour wait for my tow. Pretty sure they just dropped the ball completely on the order. Nothing but a 'we are sorry' from the dispatcher. Dog water company. might as well push your car to the mechanic.
