If I could give Highway Towing 10 Stars, I would. Both Carlos (the owner)and Eduardo (the tow truck driver) went out of their way to provide professional and caring service. I had two blown tires, a damaged tire rim, and a drained battery (from flashing the hazard lights). Eduardo handled everything with expertise. And went out of his way to assure both me and my car were safe. Highway Towing has my highest recommendation.
I was in a hit & run recently and my insurance company dispatched out to highway towing to tow my car after all local companies refused. I could not be more pleased with the level of service and care I received. My driver, Rick, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the process. He took great care of my vehicle and also provided me with great insight into the insurance adjustment process. I would highly recommend Rick and Highway towing to anyone who requires their services.
Best experience I’ve had with a towing company ever! We used Highway Towing & Transportation through our Allstate Roadside Assistance and Carlos was super helpful and friendly. Thanks Rick for an excellent service on my bmw wagon. I knew he was a pro when drove my lowered vehicle side ways and stepped out of the vehicle and double check the clearance. Rick and the Highway Towing team were great for transporting my company's special vehicle (non-street legal) around the Bay Area for demonstration drives. I contacted HT after reviewing their website and quickly received a response and quotation for services which even included overnight secure storage and detailing of the vehicle. Payment was easy via an online portal. Services were rendered perfectly and Rick was flexible with me on timing of drop off and pick up. Highly recommended!

This review is specifically for Naz. Right from the start on the phone he sounded so nice and helped calm me down when I was stranded with my father after hitting a huge pothole and getting a hole in a tire. He showed up super quick, was so skilled in handling the tow, and was overall such a pleasant experience. I didn't know getting a vehicle towed could be so easy. Picked my car, got to a destination, person who was supposed to accept the car was late 1 hour and 45 minutes, Driver arrived at the location 8pm, waited an hour. And he told he can't wait that long, so I called dispatch, and offered 50 bucks more to wait additional 45 minutes so the person can come and accept it and pay them, he agreed and said no problem and I also offered more opportunities in the future, after 30 minutes, dispatcher called ,started telling me about safety violations and that 50 bucks dont cover hourly wages , he didn't let me talk, he didn't let me finish my sentence, he said "he won't argue with me" and hung up on m now neither dispatch or the driver pick up their phone, they taking it to the yard and I have to pay another 850 or more to bring it back. Very misleading and irresponsible people, don't recommend!!
The scope of our job with Elite Tow changed at the last minute, but they didn't hesitate to go to extra mile (miles! in this case) and deliver the vehicle safely. Very communicate, very understanding, true professionals. Strongly recommend.

The staff is rude and bullies! I would not use this company for anything!!!!!! If I could give Silver Line Towing a negative rating, I would. The customer service I received from Stephanie was horrible. She argued with me over her mistake and gave me incorrect information. She refused to let me speak with her manager or the owner. I had to insist several times I wanted to speak with her manager or the owner. She put me on hold and said she needed to see who is available......that tells me I will not be speaking with the manager. She would not give me a name so that tells me you are not being honest. So, as I thought, Stephanie lied about her name. Her name is Julie according to Lee who stated he was the manager. If you are not guilty, why give a fake name? Just as Stephanie/Julie did, Lee got so upset when I asked to speak to his manager or the owner. He tried to bully me by yelling and speaking loudly over me. Lee also tried to minimize their actions by acting like he didn't hear why I was calling. I told him several times why I was transferred to him. His behavior as a manager or human being is appalling and despicable. Lee is probably friends with Stephanie/Julie and gave me a fake name as well. If the owner sees this post, I would like to speak with he or she.
Encountered a strange problem (turned out to be a MAP sensor and electrical failure) and car shut down. Service was quick and not only did they try a jump start but also was able to immediately tow the car after finding out my battery wasn’t the issue. Quick, efficient and professional
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encounter. Wanted my motorcycle towed due to me being in an accident and just had surgery, so I physically couldn't be there, but had a friend take care of everything. I called and gave them my card information thinking they could charge by phone like a billion other places. So the driver calls me and said we have to swipe your card. My friend left and I had another guy come and pay. So instead of letting me know I couldn't pay by phone without permission the manger Nicole calls my phone and goes off yelling and saying she will have my bike IMPOUNDED. So not only that she catches an attitude while she is talking and keeps blowing her breath because she claims the driver keeps calling her which I am texting and calling him every step of the way. I would not recommend this company to any one at all if you want to get treated like dirt and over price $150 for a 3 mile tow, but on a good note the driver Leonardo Montez is a straight up professional excellent customers service and wanted to help find a solution and not create a bigger problem. Much respect to you sir. I HOPE YOU ALL READ THIS BEFORE ACCEPTING THEIR TERMS.
My car overheated somewhere in San Lorenzo while on a road trip and I called this towing company. The driver was very quick to arrive and really friendly. He towed my car to the nearest mechanic and even gave me a ride to a nearby hotel. The only thing that could be improved is their phone support. I was on hold for a while before speaking to someone. But the driver’s help was excellent and I’d definitely call them again.
I called Silverline to pick up some equipment from our building, and our building is right down the street from them. When you call in, they answer "service", not even Silverline. Its pretty clear that they are just a clearing house for requests from customers and calling independent tow companies. In other words they have no control over the drivers. I was told they would be on site at 9 am, at 9:30 I called to find out why they were late. "he'll be there in 20 minutes", Ok, I waited longer, at 10:00 I called again "he's right around the corner, will be there in a couple minutes" 10:20 I called again, "he can be there in 20 minutes" WHAT? I had myself and another person waiting for an hour and a half. Three hours of wasted time. I canceled the service, closed up my building and drove away. Then a tow truck operator called me 10 minutes later and said he could be there in 20 minutes, I told him "no", told him the story, and he said he would give me a $30.00 discount. They don't get it, they consistently lied to me, and wasted my time. Just sharing my personal story.

Honest guy, good prices, fast and responsive. I wish I didn't bother trying AAA, I just have basic AAA which only covers 5 miles, he beat their price and time to get me home. Wish I don't need to call him again, but if I do in the area, he's the one!

I woke up to a car that did not start. I called AAA, who contacted Norcal Towing and someone showed up so quickly! He was here within 25 minutes. He even took a look at my car to see if he could see what was causing the engine to fail. He promptly drove me and my car to the dealership. Thank you so much!
I had to unfortunately get my car towed today. It took a little under two hours for the tow truck to arrive and Mohammed was quick, professional, and communicative. owner of the company left me stranded 3 times. he wanted to charge me $800 when my insurance approved my tow request 2 times. his workers made it very clear he was just being difficult. spoke to him over the phone and he lies and says it’s AAA who is denying but AAA makes notes it is approved. how can you leave someone stranded over night!

My insurance company contracted Island tow to take me off the 580 Freeway. I wasn't waiting long at all. They were very professional and got me safely off the freeway and to my destination. Island Tow gives great services. 🏝🚗🚙🛻🏝😎
they tow my car because i parked in a wrong place, not problem so far, but the guy there ask me for my key and he take some time to come back to the office then he bring the car out side, i check my car and i found they stole my phone from my driver door i came back to the guy and he got nerves giving excuses, i did the police report but there is no way i get my phone back. it is unfair they make you pay a lot of money to have your car back and they stole items from the cars. make sure you go with them before give the car key to them, do not let them alone with your car open.
Amazing service our tower was name Roy and he was very helpful our car got stuck in the middle of the row and Roy was so helpful with moving our vehicle and being able to turn it in the right direction even tho the wheel was locked and hard to move he also cared for our well being seeing if we were good unlike the Hayward police that told us to look for our own tow truck and hardly even helped us. My husband and I want to thank Roy so much for his service such a great job he’s done.

I have been going to Island Auto for over 20 years and have lived in, and worked for, Ocean City for many years. The service there is VERY honest, fair and done correctly. I have recommended Island Auto to friends and people on vacation and the have never not thanked me afterwards! You hear horror stories about garages and mechanics but this is a auto repair facility you can trust and believe in to get the job done correctly and at a great price.

The driver arrived about 5 minutes early. He was wearing a mask, he was dressed very neat and clean. He was courteous and extremely helpful. As young as he was I did not really expect him to be totally professional. But he was !!! This is definitely the tow company I will call again if I need a tow.

They Towed my brothers car for some reason from our gated community then charged a ridiculous price to get it out of their yard. Crooks! They sneak around at night to get your car then say that because it was towed at 12 it counts as a whole day and charge you for two days.
This place showed compassion to me, in regards to my father's passing. The owner is a solid guy, if your car is towed here know its not their fault, and they will do what they can to help.
Crooks, highly illegal practice, stole my vehicle and did not report to me after impounding my vehicle after it was left abandoned at a gas pump while I was away on business. Now they are charging me over $4k to get back my vehicle that was stolen. So, it's safe to say this company should be sued. Nasty, horrible, unfair, unlawful, POS's.
Ok. So I did get my car towed by this company but believe or not that wasn't that bad. I woman (or dispatcher) was very nice to deal with she even took like 20% off the fees. But after I retrieved my car the same day a few hours later, I noticed a dent on my rear side fender. I took photos and compared it with the photos their driver took and in his photos their was no dent. I called the dispatcher she apologized. She said since the company owns a few body shops it would not be an issue to fix it. So when I would try to set something up for me to bring in my car she was either really busy or not there. Then she conveniently contracted co-vid and that was the last I heard from her. This establishment "Allday Towing" is wack and if they do tow your vehicle please check it for damages before you drive out of the tow yard. ✌🏾
Worked with me on price and didn't charge outrageous fees. It's bad enough when your car is towed and then you get charged on top of that for storage fees. They were understanding and treated me fair.

Very surprised at the negative reviews. My truck was in an accident & CHP used Jack James tow on 09/04 around 6 in the morning to have my truck removed. My mom came with me 09/05 (yesterday) to get my truck out. The lady at their office who helped me was very kind and explained everything to me. I felt comfortable with the charge, as I have never been in a situation like this & have heard horror stories about needing to pay $700+ for a tow & one night of storage. She gave me a printout that clearly listed the charges & even included directions for how to get to the actual tow yard. When I got there, I was absolutely heartbroken to see the damages on my baby, but Alex was respectful when letting me onto the lot to remove my belongings from my truck. It needed to be towed out so we called our insurance provider, who sent the wrong truck. When the driver arrived he said he did not have the proper equipment to tow my non-operable vehicle. We struggled with our insurance for about 4 hours trying to get the right tow truck to do the job, & we wanted to make sure my truck was off the lot before their lot closed at 5pm. Alex saw us waiting a while for our truck & came out a few different times to let us know if we needed anything he was there, we could just knock on the gate, he'll be around, etc & then closer to 5pm he let us know that he'd be leaving soon but that there are other options if the tow truck comes after 5pm, we could call their office again & they could send someone else to open the gate so we could get my truck out. I thought this was very kind of him/the company to offer, I had assumed we would just be stuck accruing more fees if my truck was not out by 5pm. After several hours of going back & forth with our insurance who made this whole situation a nightmare, we decided to just call Jack James' office again & see if we could pay them out of pocket to tow my truck to a repair shop since my insurance company was far from helpful. Without any hesitation, Jeanine accepted. I am not sure if Jeanine was the same woman who helped me when I went to pay my bill at their office (who was also very nice), but she was extremely kind over the phone & sounded genuinely eager to get this situation resolved. I read a lot of reviews about items being stolen out of peoples' vehicles, rude attitude from the women at the office, and just overall "horrible service." I left a lot of valuable things in my car, & I was nervous that stuff would be missing, but to my relief absolutely NOTHING was removed from my truck. The ladies at the office were pleasant in person & so helpful over the phone. During the most saddening & frustrating time while I was dealing with the loss of my truck, Jack James really made the situation bearable. Would certainly recommend them, & they will be the first people I call if I ever find myself in need of a tow again.
Went with a friend, whose his car was stolen and found by CHP. Car was towed by this company! We waited almost 30 mins just to pay the towing fees and get release documents, because there is only 1 person there and was answering phone calls while serving my friend. Pain didn't end here. When we went to the yard where towed cars are kept, nobody was there and we had to call them more than 6 or 7 times and wait for almost 3 hours till somebody came to open the gate and release my friend's car. Horrible experience and very very bad service for the so expensive service.
This place is absolutely horrible!!! No sense of customer service at all. Paid the money to get vehicle. They told me they would put it outside so I could come back with a tow truck. Come back with a tow and the vehicle was still inside. Had to leave vehicle for the night. Came back next day, the vehicle was buried behind a bunch of cars. In the middle of trying to get the vehicle out, guy gets a call and just leaves me there with my tow truck again waiting. The most horrible experience I have ever had with any company. Avoid at all cost!! Invest in an auto club to be able to avoid these pieces of garbage here. Lady at the counter is so rude like she hates her job. She needs to stop being so miserable in her everyday life and taking it out on other people who had no choice but to have their vehicle towed by this garbage company.
Wasnt my choice first of all. Had my car stolen from Santa Rosa and it ended up in Hayward and police had it towed here. I was told i could get it out anytime and went next day which was Sunday. The guy on the phone told me there was a gate fee. I said i figured and thats fine. Then he said theres a bunch of paperwork. Thats fine. But the reality was they didn't feel like doing it that day. I didnt feel like doing any of it but here we are. Why have a gate fee if you wont open the gate? So I took Monday off work to come back again. There was no explanation just a blank stare. One signature for a “bunch of paperwork” Cool to treat people dealing with such a shitty thing to begin with like that. Also, police told me there were tools in the car but when I got to it they were not. Thats cool.
Worst two truck company, they didn’t allow me to retrieve my registration from the car, they demanded a marry certificate to be able to released car due to car name was under wife name before marriage, their attitude is the worst I don’t understand how this company hire unfriendly people they don’t even greet you when you come in and they make you loose a lot of time and money, avoid them at all cost.

We had allied transport our forklift from East bay to half moon bay. They communicated clearly, showed up on time, and everything went smoothly. The price was great too, we got quotes from 8 other companies. The driver was very kind and good at good job!
The driver took my car that was supposedly staying in Sunnyvale and going literally 1 mile up the road to a Tesla dealership instead takes it all the way to Hayward 32 miles away. I jumped out of his tow truck for one minute and he just drove off with my car still on his flatbed, it was like nothing I had ever seen before. He then proceeds to go through everything in my car and bent my Tesla car key/folded it into four pieces (see picture below). Please never ever do business with them, there are so many other choices out there. Stay far far away from this business and you’ll be fine. This is a serious warning. This event actually just happened to me. If I could give them a negative star rating I would. It’s the worst business I’ve ever dealt with in my 36 years on this planet.

Amable el señor, pero quién se va sentir feliz por sacar su carro remolcado de estos lugares. Por pasar la noche $490.00 😢😥, lo peor, lo remolcaron de la residencial donde vivo, por dejarlo parqueado a la media noche que llegué de mi trabajo y el carro no me arrancó. Lo dejé en el área de Staff en día sábado, que no trabajan. Valiendo madre, se lo llevaron jajajjaja., río por no llorar... mentiras.. lloré 😢😥.
These people pick and choose who they want to tow. You can park in front of your home to unload groceries and they will tow you. However if you’re parked in guest parking with a notice on the car for 3 weeks, they leave the car alone. Be aware if you live in the Tennyson area, they are looking to make a quick dollar
Sucks that the car got towed, but on the other hand the staff was nice and calm. The reason why I say this is that other people that were there got frustrated and started talking loudly to the staff. But in my opinion they handled the customers really well so I won't dock them in my star rating just because my car got towed but I did give them a rating as a business. I gave them the rating because I have had previous experiences with other tow companies that either damage the vehicle with scratches or have rude unprofessional condescending staff at the front office When trying to claim a vehicle.
