I’ve been using these guys for almost 10 years. primarily because of convenience and their location. They work for the Newport Beach police department and will tow your car and hold it hostage as long as they possibly can to rack up the biggest bill possible even if you’re a long time return customer. They will not work with you in anyway and are overpriced anyways so you can do better and find someone cheaper who doesn’t take advantage of people. Do not go here under any circumstance! They need to learn!!!!!!!!!
Very professional service!! I came to the Costa Mesa location believing my car was going to be here but it wasn’t. On the bright side the staff was super nice. I got an apology for the misinformation and given free drinks. I watched them tow in a car into the lot while waiting for my Uber and it was handled carefully. Cool place!
Probably the most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. When booking a towing they took down all my info and put me on hold then when they took me off hold they let me know they accidentally deleted all my info and would need it again. After giving them my info again they said a tow truck would be to me in an hour. An hour later they call to let me know that they don’t have a driver and have to cancel the tow. I explained to them that my car is in a no stopping zone and that I’m waiting on them and they said there’s nothing they can do. Unbelievably unprofessional and insane that I waited an hour for them to let me know they can’t do it. Avoid using Southside Towing as much as possible.
So yesterday I was at wagyu burger in Newport and my truck died needed a jump and there were 2 tow trucks there they were just eating lunch so I asked hey can I get a jump and immediately and rudely man said no which is crazy because my next offer to them was going to be I would gladly pay for the jump 50 bucks or have his company tow the car but no offer of help only rudeness and unkind attitudes. We are all human and we should try and help each person we meet word of mouth and kind hearts is what grows a business and sustains the clients
