I needed a tow to a tire shop, my call was picked up quickly, he was estimated to show up in about 45 minutes and came within an hour, and it was a quick and pleasant experience overall.

I called three services at around 8-9pm on a Monday night (Jan 13) from a popular corner gas station with a flat tire. I had not read the reviews on two of the three until I sat WAITING. After reading the horror stories from clients who called these other tow companies? I called and canceled them & then called ABL Towing & Hauling. These guys were super ON IT! Elvis showed up in 15-20 minutes and was a pro. He got straight to work, had my car on the truck, and delivered direct to the location. It was 10:55pm when we finished. (That shows how long I sat waiting for those other tow companies which gave me time to read their horrific reviews.) A week later, when I asked for a receipt, he wrote one out and sent me a photo.
Excellent! Quick response, very professional and quite reasonable rates the day my truck broke down in Palmer. Definitely the guys to call when you need a tow.
Slid off a 10ft ditch, and these guys were still able to pull my car out. They were extremely respectful and professional. Highly recommend
Great experience! Long story short, I gave the guy the wrong address for the destination and he called me to explain I was having my car towed to the dump. Really glad he caught this before the tow and was really nice even though I was being a huge pain in the ass. It's never fun needing a tow but these guys made it better. Thank you for your help!

My driver showed up fast and got my car hooked up and out of the roadway quickly and efficiently. The price was fair, the driver friendly and fast. This was the only tow service that would respond to Eagle River at 6 pm on a Friday. The others either turned off their phones or just said no. The service was awesome!

Both gentleman that got my husband and myself unstuck were excellent! The first company I tried was suggested to me. I called and got their voicemail about 7:15AM, their message said they didn’t have any drivers available until 9:30AM. Both times I got stuck it was before 7:30AM. I called and the first time the guy came in less than an hour, (had to get someone else out first). The second time he was there in less than 30 minutes. I’m pretty sure it took them longer to process my payment than it did to actually hook up my car and pull it out. Unless I have to, I will never use another towing business again. (They may have also towed my frozen car from my driveway to a car shop in 2019.)
Very good experience! Scheduled to have my trailer picked up one day and they called me a day earlier to see if I’d like it sooner, in which I was very happy to receive it sooner, very good pricing for the job, very good timing on pickup and drop off time and on top of that the driver had the nicest attitude I told him where I wanted it parked as long as it’s possible and he responded with anythings possible with a smile on his face, so I highly recommend if you need help to call these guys!!
Russell was awesome! He provided helpful recommendations and insight while my little Subaru was stuck in the snow. Not only did he and his Boss Lady get us out, but he also recommended hotels and food for us while we had to layover for the night.

Wayne is an actual life saver. My scion tc’s transmission started slipping and had to park at a motel. Called up 1st class towing (recommended from another tow company!) the next day and he was on it. Showed up earlier than expected, really respectful and great guy! I even forgot my key and he was still able to get in and move it to where he could tow it easily. Amazing price for the work he put in and was even able to tow it onto JBER for me. Will be recommending his services to anyone that needs a tow. THANK YOU WAYNE!!
In need of a tow or help getting extricated from a snow bank, 1st Class towing and recovery should be your go to. On another day of getting people out of whatever predicament they found themselves in, Mr. Manning came to my aid in a more than timely manner, he showed up in less than 45 minutes, even when he was on another callout. I never write reviews, but Wayne is an awesome guy, great attitude, super friendly and helpful. I was happy not only to have my car jumped but just to interact with such a class-act person. Five stars, would highly recommend. I just saw a one-star review saying that all these reviews were fake and that the reviewers live outside the state. You can't even know that, and my Google account probably still says "Florida" or "Indiana" or one of the many places I've lived in. I'm a resident of Alaska whether or not Google knows I am. The reviews aren't fake, and there are so many because Wayne is the kind of guy that leaves an impression on you and makes you want to write a review to help support his local business.
Amazing, speedy and friendly service! Wayne saved our day! Car broke down on the way home from our 4th of July campout. Couldn’t be happier we landed with Wayne. While other companies were changing their prices and giving us a hassle, Wayne magically appeared behind us 45 minutes away from Anchorage just when we needed him, literally was parked behind us. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, his price was reasonable and he made a stressful situation so much better. Unfortunately, in the last couple of weeks, I have had to call several tow trucks for assistance. The first two I must report were less than satisfactory , honest or professional . One was even short of being a supper shady. when I called South Central towing recommended to me by Holleman automotive he answered the phone himself, he got my location, what I needed , what my problem was, gave me an ETA. He was there on time. Took care of everything. Allowed my dog to stay with us, I felt secure and knew I was being handled professionally he delivered me to my location without incident. I would call him again in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact, I am adding him to my Christmas card list. Truly a professional and somebody that I feel comfortable writing a positive review for and I don’t write reviews often. If you can’t say something nice I generally don’t say anything at all. This guy was the best.

We had to get our truck towed to the auto repair shop. My husband called South Central Towing. He just randomly called this company. Very professional and reasonable. Josh came out to take care of things. He's the kindest, sweetest young man and as an older couple he was so respectful. Definitely would use him again and I would highly recommend his services. Managed to get stuck in my own driveway/ditch. Not my first call, but was the only one willing/able to come to Eagle River to help me out. They only lost a star because Alaska weather delayed them and it took an hour longer to reach me than they quoted. But they did communicate there would be a delay, and got the job done when no other company could or would. Thanks guys!

My friend’s car got stolen and we had to call for a tow. Tiny’s showed up and was able to pull it off of a steep embankment, but unable to tow it as it had 3 flat tires. He wouldn’t take payment as he felt bad he couldn’t tow it. Super friendly, speedy, would use again!

The best experience I have had with a tow truck company. Fast and friendly… flat top showed up when they said they would and handled our vehicle expertly with care. Highly recommended. Will be my first call for my next towing needs.

They busted the lower control arm of my car and then denied doing anything to it. It's bad enough to have to have a car towed to a repair shop and pay those two bills but to have to add more expense to repair what a dishonest tow company broke is horrible.

They came out quickly after contacting them to tow our boat home for us after a trailer tire blew out. We were on the side of the Seward highway so they sent an extra truck to help with lights/visibility, it cost a little extra but was worth it as it definitely helped make the process feel more safe with other cars blasting by! The price was fair and they did a good job. We had talked to another company our insurance wanted us to use but they went back and forth hemming and hawing about what tow truck to send and then quoted us 3x as much! Vulcan asked for the trailer/boat measurements and was on their way, no mess no fuss.
Eric was very efficient and fast, kept it professional. Vulcan taking before and after pictures is nice for our safety. For any super Heavy/ heavy hauls 10/10 would recommend them!

There are no words….literally Cody was an earth Angel who appeared out of nowhere when I came out of OPA physical therapy with a cast on my leg, crutches and found that my car had a flat. I YouTubed how to change it and was trying to get the lights off but they were too tight and I couldn’t budge them. I was on the verge of tears when out of nowhere he pulled up alongside the curb and asked if I needed help, I was already all fours in the ground trying to figure out where to put the jack and he came in and had my tire changed in under 5 minutes. I can’t express how grateful I am, it was a pretty challenging week and that was the about to be my last straw. Cody changed it!! Thank you…..so much!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏 If I ever have an issue in the future, I will not hesitate to call Vulcan because of his kindness!!

Got my truck home innless than 30 minutes on a busy night. A+ service.
I'm not a customer, but a tow operator for Midnight Sun Towing, and I just want to thank your driver (not sure who he was, I didn't get his name; thin man, darker skin, longer black hair, probably 30's) for the help he provided. He saw I was in a position of needing a road block and he jumped to it. Lit 2 flares, directed traffic, and helped me on my call. I couldn't be more appreciative of how safe he kept my scene on Tudor across from Wendy's. Thank you again! So appreciated!
My car wouldn't start. JT towing came right over jumped my car. Extremely friendly & they handled all the paperwork with my insurance it was awesome. Very happy customer!!
Dishonest and unprofessional. I needed a jump start and the driver they sent couldn't find the 12v on my hybrid at first. He seemed irritated and while looking for it in the engine compartment, he pulled roughly on the fuse box cover and broke a latch. The driver denied it to the owner and the owner refused to compensate.
Had a flat tire on my Tesla and was towed to my house by a different company and everything went fine. When my tire arrived in stock I used AAA and they sent JT towing to take my car to the shop. The driver incorrectly secured the car to the flat bed using the winch and heard and audible crunch as he broke the skid plate underneath my car. It was obvious there were different methods for securing the car, especially since the first company secured it fine and didn't break anything. JT towing agreed to compensate me for the damage but I kept getting the run-around. I was finally reimbursed by AAA. Edit: I was finally sent a check by JT towing, and added a star for it

Towing is a difficult service. Your dealing with people normally NOT in a good situation. They are usually unhappy when they call you and bothered that they now have to pay extra money for Towing. You may want to consider this before gripping out tow truck drivers. Its a difficult job and most do a pretty good job. 24/7 Does an Awesom Job.
I slid off the highway one night on the way home to Anchorage and wound up buried in between the north and southbound lanes . I called 24/7 Towing and they were there in about an hour. The guy was really good at his job and he got me out just fine, winched the car up on the flatbed and took me home. I have no complaints about the service. The thing is, after he pulled me out and still had me hooked up to his chain is when he demanded I pay the $425.00 service fee before he would a.) unchain my car or b.) tow me safely off the highway and home. Now I understand why the need to make sure that payment is made before the service is given, because I'm sure they've been burned before. Notice I said "before". But he only told me the high cost of the service AFTER he'd already hauled out. He never gave me the opportunity to make another call and choose another towing company, maybe one that I could afford or at least talk to somebody and arrange it. No, he simply winched my car out of the snow and up onto his truck and THEN informed me of the amount I owed and told me to pay up, or he would take my car to the impound lot, and I would be stranded. This happens more than you would think, apparently! Talk about highway robbery...WOW!
I personally haven't used them but did call them to report a very dangerous incident in a construction zone. The driver that was hauling a big load speed up to cut off a line of people slowing Down and merging. He pushed a car off the road that was in front of the line. I called he number and I'm guessing the owner answered and he said he would call the driver. 5 minutes later the driver called us and told me to "learn to drive and S his D" mother Fer"! Then hung up. I tried to call the company back and they screeched the phone and hung up. One of the most unprofessional things I have ever witnessed. I wish there were negotiable stars... wow
Spoke with the manager two three days ago about his driver and what all went wrong and he has not gotten back to me. Or has not let me know what's going on. The driver was even in an accident that morning. Just over all bad experience and it has plenty of room for improvement. Had they gotten back and had better communication I'm sure things would be smoother
If you want to be lied to this is the company for you. I know things happen in life to change outcomes but really people! Arranged a tow, was told 1/2 hour out. After 50 minutes I called back to see how the Truck was doing. Dispatcher said he would check and call me back but that the truck would be here in 20 minutes. 35 minutes later I called to check on the truck and was told the truck called me and I did not answer. Dispatch said this without skipping a beat. I offered to come down and show my call logs because no one had called me. Dispatch knew they were lieing but didn't expect me to call them on it. Once again told they would check and call me back. 40 minutes later and now frustrated from all the work I had missed and with no call back I arranged a different tow company.
